DomoSapien: I don't think it's so much a way to get you to spend more Gold as
it is a stylistic choice. Not all nations have semi-transparent
camo patterns, but the weathering on the tips of the barrels as
well as around corners and welds allows you to display a different
color underneath the non-transparent camo patterns.
For example, my sweet blue accents on the Strv 103b

Gnomon: Hey, everyone! I just wanted to touch base and let you
know this will not be the last you see of Frontline. We need to
work on optimizing performance, and we do have a large amount of
feedback and suggestions about Frontline to comb through, as
well. Speaking of, what would you like to see in the
future of Frontline? Historic Battles in Frontline, maybe? Switch
up the Tiers? Maybe nation vs nation? Let us know what
you would like to see

symptoms to look for? Are we supposed to trust WG that it's
doing something that will benefit the shot?

TeriyakiTanker: It works just fine and you should really stop being
paranoid, why do you need to "trust" WG at all? It is a perk
that works and doesn't mention anything about "benefiting the shot"
so not sure where you came up with that. When you have it
trained to 100%, it is a perk after all, it will show if the tank
you are targeting has any damaged modules. Displays right on
your screen above the aiming reticle. Not a particularly
useful skill compared to a lot of others but I could see taking it
as a 6th or 7th skill on some tanks. Much more important are
BiA, 6th sense, camo, repairs, recon, and situational awareness
(list not in any meaningful order).

TeriyakiTanker: If you are going to be free to play I would consider looking for
bonus codes that will give you a free low tier premium tank.
Also changing your password once used to give you a couple hundred
free gold which you can use to dismount equipment, not sure that
still works but give it a shot. Also look into missions and
marathons to get as much free stuff as you can. This game is a
trade off between time and money, so if you aren't going to put any
money in be ready to spend some serious time getting things
done. Getting some low tier premiums through missions like
on-tracks is also really helpful for earning silver and training
crews. Hope that helps.

standalone T14 that comes with a garage slot and 500

As for the tanks not costing anything, that's not quite true. I used to think the same thing: Well, the tank is just data. Why should it cost anything?
You're not paying for the lines of code, you're paying the people who wrote the code. For the tank, the people who researched the vehicle, the people who designed the model, the people who answer your tickets if you have some kind of an issue with your purchase, etc.

DomoSapien: Hey Folks, Quick announcement for ya: The T1E6 and the
T14 are currently being offered on the Premium Shop in a variety of
bundles.
The T14 features a forgiving armor profile and a decent gun for its tier. There aren't a lot of tanks that give me trouble in my Pz. V/IV but this is one of them. While it doesn't feature particularly aggressive frontal armor, its reinforced sides make this thing a corner-hugging, sidescraping machine! The T1E6 on the other hand is a relatively easy to pick-up, solid all around light tank for its tier. Players looking to get a taste of scout gameplay might want to try out this vehicle to get a good idea of the general playstyle. I am not KrzyBooP, nor do I have details on the interior (last I checked it was standard milspec, really not sure where he gets all these custom interiors done but I'm looking to get my car seats reupholstered so perhaps I should have a chat with him...) but I can give you my personal guarantee that I won't get offended should you lob a few rounds my way on the battlefield in your shiny new T1E6 or T14

I'd love to have the ability to customize my 13 57 with paint and camo, but still feature the banner on the turret.
As for the swap, we actually did offer a swap when the vehicle was being sold in April. Not sure if another swap will be offered, but it may be a possibility in the future.

I don't have both vehicles, so I'm not 100% sure, but from my understanding once you train your crews in camo + bia and apply camo paint, the values should even out, like the 13 57 and the Defender.

Subject: [Superteste] Chimera - Parte 2
Link on message: #11672680
Link on message: #11672680
MA77: Olha o Chimera de novo aí gente!
Hoje, a segunda fase de testes começa
para o Chimera. Nós ajustamos as especificações deste tanque médio
A primeira versão do Chimera
A primeira versão do Chimera
mira do Chimera. Queremos manter suas principais características:
bom dano, blindagem decente e boa mobilidade.

Subject: [ST] Chimera Test 2
Link on message: #11672662
Link on message: #11672662
Gnomon: Hey, everyone! Today marks the beginning of the second
Supertest for the Chimera. The stats of this Tier VIII British
medium tank have been adjusted based on the results of the previous
testing. In short, we’ve lowered the alpha damage to 440 points
(down from 490 points) and have revised its targeting and mobility
parameters. The first version of Chimera was able to survive in
battle for too long and could deal out far too much damage.
So, why did we make these
changes? Essentially, the first Chimera Supertest was an
experiment of sorts: we wanted to see how a tough and mobile medium
tank with a big alpha would fare in battle. Turns out it works a
little too well. 490 points of damage with a basic round, add in a
comfy gun, some great protection and speed to make a Tier VIII
medium a bit imbalanced. The first iteration of
Chimera was able to quickly aim at enemies’ weak points and strike
while being able to avoid any return fire. It could score several
severely damaging shots in a row while getting barely scratched
itself. That iteration had abnormally high survivability and damage
per battle. Excellent aiming parameters and nice mobility
also made the first Chimera too versatile. It excelled both as an
ambusher relying on alpha, and as a mid-range fire support vehicle.
Being equally good at two different roles is a bit too much for one
tank, even though it has a cool name. You might find
yourself asking what we are going to do with the tank.
Basically, we’ll fine-tune Chimera’s alpha and its aiming stats. We
want to keep the signature features of Chimera—high one-time
damage, decent protection, and good mobility—and make sure that the
targeting parameters are still comfortable while playing. This tank
shouldn’t be a universal super-soldier, but at the same time, the
process of shooting shouldn’t try your patience. The Chimera must
stay a highly mobile sniper making use of its alpha while playing
at above medium range. So, what happens next?
We’ll see by the end of this Supertest. So please make sure to
follow the news and let us know of any feedback you have!
Best of luck on the battlefield!

Subject: [Supertest] Chimera - Parte II
Link on message: #11672595
Link on message: #11672595
Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos, tanquistas!
soporte a distancias medias.
¿Y qué vamos a hacer exactamente? Vamos a revisar el daño alfa y
parámetros de apuntamiento del Chimera. Queremos mantener sus
caractaerísticas principales: buen daño, protección decente y buena
movilidad.
apuntamiento sigan siendo decentes.
debería poner tu paciencia a prueba.

Lesser_Spotted_Panzer I understand that we keep the stats for the lekpz M 41 90 GF in our service record, but if we decide to swap does that mean our statistics transfer or do we have to 3 mark the tank again? Best.
_Marine This is great, but why not just change it to a skin that can be added/removed depending on our mood on any given day? That would save you a lot of work too.

usually a month or more before release. They involve checking new
changes and trying to find the most critical issues before opening
the tests to the public. STs are divided into production tests (new
maps, balancing vehicles, etc.), and version tests (the entirety of
the update). After we finish the Supertest, it then goes to
the Common Test for all players to try (like Update 1.0.2,
currently).
