Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos!

Além disso, no final do

Jambijon: Hello Everyone! As some of you probably noticed, there
was something fishy going on with the Arms Race since the
start. For the first few days after the event went live we
noticed several issues which affected battle shifts on provinces,
incorrect fame points displayed during investments, and incorrect
fame points gain for clans that were on an elite
front. We have already released a hotfix that
corrected the fame points issues. As for technologies, to
give every clan an equal fair chance - we decided to leave
technologies doubles which were already bought by clans prior to
the moment we deployed the fix on Saturday night. This will
give clans an opportunity to further boost their progress through
the event. On top of that, we will add an additional 300 tanks
to the reward pool - meaning there will now be 2,600 tanks
available rather than the 2,300. Also, at the end of the
event every participating clan will receive a XII level "Battle
Payments" reserve. We apologize for any inconvenience this may
have caused. Good luck and have fun!

Gnomon: Hey, everyone! I hope that you had a great
weekend!
I wanted to let you know that a brand new Tier VIII British Medium tank with an awesome gun has entered the Supertest.
It is called the Chimera, and it’s your somewhat typical medium tank with good mobility. Its maneuverability, hull armor, and size are comparable to that of other British vehicles of the same type, but its turret protection is slightly better. The Chimera’s gun is what really stands out on this tank—not just among the British line, but among mediums in general. 490 points of alpha damage is definitely an outlier on a Tier VIII tank.
Great alpha, tough turret, good speed, and nice gun depression make the Chimera quite versatile. It can play as a sniper or provide fire support and lay some powerful punches on the enemies.
Of course, we did want to make sure the tank is properly balanced. So, an outstanding feature (like a huge alpha) should be compensated for. In the Chimera’s case, we did this with the penetration. 202mm with the basic round is far from best in class/Tier, and you will have to look for optimal firing positions and go for opponents’ weaker spots.
This is the first stage of testing, and Chimera’s stats may change depending on the results. However, we intend to keep its signature high alpha. You know the drill, please let us know what you think! Best of luck in your battles and make sure to follow the news on this tank!

tens of thousands of battles before the badge even was a thing.

is conceivable that a bot could play for a day/week/month without
firing a shot and end up with a 50% win rate - does that mean it is
an average player?? NO, you have to look at it's rating
which will tell you the full story - so why even bother with a stat
which tells you more about the team than about the player?
OK - fire away!!!

OK - fire away!!! TeriyakiTanker: This is just a foolish statement. If you have a low win
rate you are a bad player period. Win rate by itself can be
padded by platooning but if you throw in average damage you will
get a pretty accurate picture of who is good. Do you really
think that there isn't a reason that you have a below average win
rate and a below average average damage per game? Bots will
not get you a 50% win rate either. You might over a short
term see that but not over a large number of games. Though I
have seen 46% win rates on bots.

MA77: Salve!
No caso do Chimera é
No entanto, planejamos

¡Mucha suerte

different nations. In the 1930s, the Germans concluded that radius
of action trumped gun power which trumped armor. By the time you
start talking Panzer III, crew efficiency is thrown in before
armor. The full quote is in one of Doyle’s books, at home. (I’m
away right now). By 1942, gun power has come to the front of the
line but armor is still last. This matches with US tank crew
opinion in late 44/45, the demand was always for a better gun.
Demand for better armor (notwithstanding the ersatz sandbag efforts
sometimes seen) was much lower. In the German case, the thinking
was that troops would not be demoralized by meeting a KV, as they
had guns to take it (the proposal was rather
Firefly-esque, having a few gun tanks, per unit). The Americans
had enough faith in their mobility, supporting assets and training
that they believed that they didn’t need the armor to win a duel.
(A good enough gun would have made the field-added armor
irrelevant).

Gnomon: Hey, everyone! Just wanted to update you with some
Supertest info. A new tank is entering Supertest
today—the Excalibur, a Tier VI British tank destroyer. Its layout
isn’t typical for this line: it has a forward-placed turret with
only 180 degrees of traverse.
Though bulky, the Excalibur has some good mobility. This is due to its specific engine power of 18 hp per ton of weight, it can do 50 km/h. It also has outstanding gun depression: -20°/+20°. During the first Supertest, we plan to choose an armament for this TD, and thus define its combat role, so we’ll try two guns. A fast shooting 76mm gun that leans towards DPM-based play. It has great aiming parameters and a penetration of 165mm with a basic round. Due to the relatively low alpha of this gun, an Excalibur equipped with it will be best suited for providing support fire from a safe distance. A 120mm cannon that fires high-explosive shells and aims well (compared to other guns of this type). 450 points of alpha damage and 70mm of armor penetration will allow it to quickly dispose of weak-armored foes. We’ll pick one of these guns depending on Supertest results. So, please let us know your feedback over the Excalibur and stayed tuned for more news! Also, have some of those sweet Excalibur screenshots:

Gnomon: Hey, everyone!
Hope that you’re having a great Friday! Have you heard of the Aquino Tank Weekend? If not, I really recommend reading over the page I linked. It’s Canada’s largest military show where you are able to get up close check out some tanks (and other military vehicles). They even have tank rides!
Aquino Tank Weekends runs from June 9th to June 10th in Oshawa, Ontario.
Sounds like something you might be interested in? Then, I have some great news! We are going to give away 4 Tank Weekend Passes for Aquino. We will be awarding these in pairs, so there will be 2 winners who win 2 tickets each.
Starting today, and running until June 4th, you need to reply to this thread telling us which 5 tanks you would put on display if you built your own tank museum. This will be your entry into the contest.
Once the contest ends on June 4th, we will randomly pick the winners from the entries submitted and send you a message on the forums with more details/your prize. We will also announce the winners in this thread.
If you win, please be aware that you will be responsible for travel and accommodations as Wargaming is only providing a ticket. And make sure to print out your ticket before you go!
This contest is only available to residents of US and Canada. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and best of luck! PS: Be sure to check out some Aquino photos below Aquino Tank Weekend
