Subject: [ST] Mines & Glacier

Link on message: #11671335
Gnomon: Hey, everyone! I have even more Supertest info for
y'all! After releasing several bits of info on new
tanks, we thought you'd be interested to hear about some maps. New
versions of Mines and Glacier, slightly modified for balancing
purposes, are entering the Supertest. Mines currently favors
the team that gets the northern spawn. This usually leads to said
team controlling the entire western area, first by taking the
western isle then by moving towards the central hill. To
offset this advantage, we’ve added multiple firing positions to the
southern side of the map. Mines
Overview/Screenshots
The
lesser isle in the southwest will have several great spots to
control and use to stop the northern pushes. You’ll be able to
shoot the enemies sitting on the larger isle from the designated TD
positions of the southern side. The same trick will be possible if
you get on the slope leading to the top of the central hill. You
can provide fire support for allies or prevent the red team from
taking control of the western flank. Next up is Glacier! As it
currently stands, the southern team has less trouble fighting
around the frozen aircraft carrier than the northern team, and
their positions for TDs are better. On top of that, the northern
team has problems defending the serpentine-like road in the
northeast. To set everything right, we’ll give a few changes to the
map a try: Glacier Screenshots
Now
both teams will have equal opportunities to roll onto the carrier,
and the northerners may try to dash to small cover on the flight
deck. The team that manages to take control of the area will be
able to capitalize on their success by having a new covered
position. The firing arc for the southern team TD position in G4 is
too wide. It will be limited on the newly modified map. Small
ridges enabling terrain-based play will be added to the serpentine
road area. Depending on the Supertest results we’ll decide
whether to keep or ditch each of the mentioned changes. Our
objective is to equalize both teams’ chances to win while
keeping the gameplay for the maps similar. This is why we need your
feedback! Please leave your feedback, comments, and
suggestions below. As always, best of luck on the
battlefield!

Subject: [Supertest] Mapas "Minas" y "Glaciar"
Link on message: #11671262
Link on message: #11671262
Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos, Comandantes!
central).

DomoSapien: Since Russian Mediums are often lacking in gun depression, it's of
paramount importance to analyze the enemy team composition and
predict where the vehicles that will give you the most trouble are
likely to deploy.
In my humble, potatoey opinion: You sort of take what you can get. Don't overly rely on a position that worked really well for you one game, because depending on the team comp, that same position may be totally useless in the next game. You have the luxury of having good all-around performance, and solid mobility. Prioritizing survival will allow you to shine in the mid-to-late game, often acting as an active scout as opposed to a primary damage-dealer.

non-damaging critical, which I am not sure if you do or not to be
honest. Basically you are probably better off just killing
him an moving on because while you are waiting for your second shot
to load it is always possible someone else will bogart the kill.

Subject: [Superteste] Minas e Geleira
Link on message: #11671070
Link on message: #11671070
MA77: As notícias do Superteste continuam fluindo!
O mapa Minas atualmente favorece a equipe nasce no lado norte.
1. A ilha menor no sudoeste terá vários pontons agradáveis para conter a agressão do lado norte. 2.

No
Além disso, a equipe do
1. Agora ambas as equipes terão
grande. Será limitado no mapa modificado.

Nosso objetivo
Siga as notícias - e boa
sorte no campo de batalhas!

understand the game mechanics, but it is still incredibly
frustrating doing next to nothing in about half my battles. To
further elaborate on that- 1. The matchmaking is garbage.
I'm bottom tier about 70% of the time, and the rest is self
explanatory. I'm out gunned, out armored, and can't pen most red
tanks. It almost feels as though I'm nothing but canon fodder for
the top dogs. Whenever I'm top tier, I get to test my theory
out. Surprise, surprise, I was right!(forward, shoot, profit, no
skills required.) so no, it's not confirmation bias. Sure, when
bottom tier I can always stay second line and support the
team, but there is almost no margin for error. And oh, please do
tell me what I am supposed to do when confronted by an Emil 1
or IS6 in my T3485m? 2. OP as hell tanks. As a PvP game, the
most important aspect is to balance the different
characters(vehicles In this case). However, after a few years we
still have broken tanks like the T67, ME Light, Pz II, running
around. Let's not forget the 268v4, 252u, and Chryslet GF either.
Do you honestly expect new players to learn anything or enjoy the
game at all if they've been doing everything to the letter, then
out of nowhere emerges one of those said tanks, leaving you with no
chance? 3. BS RNG I have both benefitted and suffered
from the RNG, however IMHO, it's an absolutely terrible feature.
Shots that should pen do not, fully aimed shots hit the ground, etc
etc you know what I'm referring to. Reduce it to +-10 or lower.
4. WG's attitude 'nuff said. They need to stop fixing
what ain't broke, being so greedy, and pissing on our backs then
claim it's rain. In conclusion, it is no wonder that so few
new players are joining the community once you consider the reasons
listed above.

complete trash and probably the stupidest thing WG has done with
this game so far. Basically killed 1/3 of the player
population in one fell swoop. 2. Most of the tanks you
mentioned aren't even remotely OP. Obj 268v4 is completely
ridiculous though. Defender isn't so much OP as it is just
much better than its counterpart the in the tech tree, IS3.
This is a problem with some of the new premium tanks.
Chrysler K is one of those tanks that looks like it will be tough
on paper but it isn't OP in reality, yes I have one and yes I have
played it a lot in Front Line.
3. RNG is what it is, I would prefer it was +/-15% but I can live with it the way it is. Keeps good players from owning worse players even more than they already do. I can accept that.
4. Yeah they do have a terrible attitude and like to pretend they can do no wrong which has led to an unwillingness to fix problems for too long.

ally to park in front of me and deny me the rest of my clip in
damage. Yeah, the assist damage is cool but I'd rather get all
the credit for the damage, instead of half. I wouldn't
say it's unique to players with purple stats, though. Folks just
get tunnel-vision sometimes.

DomoSapien: The Object 726: Soviet Durability on Four Tracks Hey
Tankers! What’s brand new, really huge, and rolling on all
fours? The Object 726, a Soviet Tier X heavy which is going up on
Supertest today.
It looks fresh and unusual, with the entire hull being carried on four tracks that make up the entire underbelly The designers of the Object 726 wanted it to traverse difficult terrain with ease, with the added bonus of looking pretty awesome. The four tracks don't just give this vehicle a unique appearance; This also means it has some pretty interesting characteristics. There is no lower glacis plate, as the tracks take up this space. On the other hand. since all the tracks are below the hull, they don't give the vehicle any additional protection on the sides in the form of spaced armor. Second, the gun carried by the 726 is silky smooth compared to what your typical Soviet Tier X has at its disposal. It has excellent aim time, good stabilization, and boasts an excellent DPM of 2750 (not counting the Crew and Equipment bonuses). We will be paying close attention to see if the gun is over-performing during this round of testing.
The Object 726 has great frontal protection; despite all its quirks and exotic appearance it should still play as a classic Soviet frontline heavy. The 726 can handle such tasks as breaking through the enemy defensive lines, holding ground, and dealing with heavily armored adversaries. The primary drawbacks of the vehicle are very limited mobility to account for its other characteristics, as well as a limited gun depression angle of -5 degrees. As this is the first stage of testing, the Object 726 stats may change in the future. We may even re-think its combat role.
Stay tuned, and good luck on the battlefield!Photos

Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos, Comandantes!
esperar a nerfearlo...
Incluso
podemos reconsiderar su rol de combate. ¡Mucha suerte en el
campo de batalla!

around the axle over your stats. This is a really hard game
and you are just starting. You need to focus on learning how
to play and if you do this you will have plenty of time to get your
win rate to where you want it. But you also need to realize
that doing 1 shot or less of damage per game is simply not
acceptable. You need to approach this game with some patience
until you figure out the maps and get a better feel for when to be
aggressive.

game is about patience and timing. Just driving out into the
open will get you destroyed quickly. The Russian tanks aren't
always the best but they tend to all be decent. If you want
to learn get to Tier V and use the following tanks KV-1 (Heavies),
T-34 (Medium), and the SU-85 (TD). You will be able to learn
all the basics with those three tanks. Best part is they all
come with multiple useful guns so you can screw around with that
too.
