As for the tanks not costing anything, that's not quite true. I used to think the same thing: Well, the tank is just data. Why should it cost anything?
You're not paying for the lines of code, you're paying the people who wrote the code. For the tank, the people who researched the vehicle, the people who designed the model, the people who answer your tickets if you have some kind of an issue with your purchase, etc.
... and the people who reply to your forum threads, like me!
