HBFT: The
tanks,
special medals, etc. are going to be credited to player
accounts as a batch. Due to the volume of camouflage, medals,
tanks, etc. that need to be credited we are expecting a paced
roll-out of these in-game items to ensure as smooth a crediting
process as possible. As such, I do not have an exact date
when they will get credited, but we will try to get them out as
soon as we are able.

many words that it was going to be there after 9.5. Not with. I
mean, even the deadline for choosing a tank still hasn't finished
yet for god's sake, at the moment of this writing. A European WG
person even said in a publication that the tank would arrive
tomorrow, not today - that's on FTR. Again, easy to find.

Lert: No. It's also according to supertesters who've driven it a
terrible tank. Which is probably why WG didn't put it on the test
server for people to try out before throwing their hard-earned
money at it.

Soft stats are better
than I expected them to be. Gun depression is - ... workable. Not
as good as the american Shermans ofcourse, but not nearly as bad as
some chinese tanks for example. From memory, my reload with
a 100% loader, vents and rammer is 3.99 seconds. Better than on
Black Prince, for some reason.

Lert: It came with a few lines, not 'every new line'. Such
competitions are usually to try and encourage people to play the
new line. This however is 'the Firefly line', the line people have
been asking for for years, since before the game went live. I don't
think there's going to be a lack of people playing this line. Ergo,
from WG's POV no contest is necessary.

Lert: Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the tank you've all been waiting
for, the tank that has spawned the most "why don't we have this in
the game yet?" threads of any other vehicle including Ratte, the
tank that people wanted more than any other vehicle because of its
legendary status, the Firefly! So, how is it? Does it really
match up to everyone's expectations? Is it really the gamechanger
that all the hype surrounding it made it up to be? What is
the Firefly really like? ... It's a Sherman with more pen.
Seriously. That's it. Review over, you can all
go home now. It looks like a Sherman, it smells like a
Sherman, it sounds like a Sherman, it drives like a Sherman, but
with a slower gun that has more pen and more damage than the 76mm
M1A1 / M1A2 on the american shermans. If you're expecting
God's gift to tanks, the most fun tank to play in the game, a total
game changer, a tank that pwns face left right and center and a
legend at your fingertips, you're going to be disappointed. If you
expect a Sherman with more pen, then - congratulations, you're a
realist, and you got exactly what you expected. "But Lert,
does that mean it's bad?" Far from. It's a decent tank, nice
and mobile with a very good gun for its tier. I think the best
comparison I can make is to liken it to an E8 with the stock engine
but M1A2 gun, a 75% loader, firing APCR all the time. If you can
picture that, that's what Firefly is like. It's a Sherman
with more pen.

that has more to do with your colors and bold and large font, and
the bad MSpaint pictures and nothing with this. WG should
now bow to people's expectations, people should have realistic
expectations. People expecting the tank right at patch drop is the
people's problem, not WG's. Now, I'm not saying WG is
perfect in communicating - far from it, they could've made a news
announcement and in my opinion should have, about when the tanks
are going to be there. But regardless of that, people expecting the
tank to drop the moment 9.5 did is something those people came up
with themselves.

make you? Also, yes, 25k is exactly the same as 38k, right?
Nevermind that that 38k doesn't list the 7k games I played in beta.
So it's closer to 45k games played vs 25k posts. Yes, exactly the
same. And even if it were, what of it? Explain me that, what of it?
I wholeheartedly agree with you that WG should communicate
better with the playerbase. But what reason do they have to do so,
if anything they do say is going to be reinterpreted by people, who
then start whining when the reality does not match their own
invented fantasy?

it. Yes, I know there are no proper garage filters in the
