Quote and just looked up the spall liners..not sure adding 500-1500kg to your tank that has issues dodging arty is really the way to go.

Seriously, we get focused no matter what tank we are playing, hell
I've been focused by 3 tier 8 arty while playing an ELC, they spend
the entire game trying to shoot me. For a lot of us, this is a
really fun-sapping part of the game, our ability to win games
results in us being the focus of abnormal amounts of incoming fire,
while we have absolutely no means of returning fire, for the arty
its all reward with no risk. Then you get people who are in
the lesser skill range who try to explain to us that arty is easily
avoidable, meanwhile, they don't receive a fraction of the
attention we do.

I've asked myself "Have I been here too long?" answer "Yes", and

Maus/T95/JagdE100/Otherbigthing, you're going to be a prime target
for artillery. Those big things are the primary prey for artillery,
indeed, in the great Rock/Paper/Scissors of the game environment,
they are the primary reason for artillery's existence. This being a
given, you can either just deal with it as a hazard, or you can
accept it and try to use it to your advantage.
Quote and just looked up the spall liners..not sure adding 500-1500kg to your tank that has issues dodging arty is really the way to go.
The_Chieftain: You've said it yourself. These vehicles already have issues
dodging arty, and you -will- take arty damage. You may be able to
avoid the direct hit, but you are unlikely to avoid the splash.
Accept it now, and be equipped accordingly. And, frankly, 1,500kg
isn't a hell of a lot on your 100-ton+ tank.

focusing on you for the entire game, and thus spending said entire
game not applying damage to your bigger, heavier team mates. I'm
going to hazard a rough guess that you won this one as your
unmolested heavies rolled over their main line force who were
receiving no artillery support? If so, congratulations, enemy arty
were idiots and you did well. Where's the problem?

Lert: The in-game Firefly:
VS the Firefly I'm most familiar with from pictures:
Now,
the one in the photograph has a very different hull from the one in
the game. In fact, if you look at the in-game one, it looks like
they took a welded plate hull and welded the front-end of a cast
hull on it. You can see the diagonal weld line starting above and
behind the drive sprocket, above the first bogey. Now, my
questions are: - Is that what actually happened with the
Firefly WG scanned for the in-game model? I'd be very interested in
learning the history behind that particular firefly. - I was under
the impression that all (at least most) Fireflies had the hull as
depicted in the photograph; welded plate hull with protrustions for
the driver and co-driver. Were different hulls used for the
Firefly? - If so, what hulls? was it just a specific series of
Shermans that were converted to Firefly, or was it just a thrown
together collection of whatever Shermans they could get their hands
on? - Why does the in-game Firefly have an american M2 HMG on top?
Shouldn't it be a british .303 or something instead?

I suppose I'm not sure that I agree. I had at least 20 emails about this my first week - begging me to do away with the rep system because players feel bullied. Just because you dont feel bullied by it, doesn't mean that others don't. Clearly at least 25% (1 in 4 players) doesn't like the Rep system, per this poll. That 25% perspective is valid as well, even if they lost the poll.

we've all been waiting for. Lert, you're making it sound like
no big deal. To me it sounds like they took an already
incredibly competitive tank and made it better in the one weak
area, penetration. How is that not the God-mode answer to our
tank dreams we've all been waiting for?Lert: It's much slower, though.

updated in the Service Record? It still only says 'Special Medal...
Information on the medal is loading." This is still the case for
the previous campaign as well.
Edit: In regards to the camo, will there be an option similar to what the options are now for applying camo? Will we get to "preview" it on each tank we have before making a selection?

HBFT: For more info on when campaign rewards will be credited to
player accounts, check out this
post. With regards to the campaign camouflage pattern,
we have received word that this special camouflage is nation
specific. As such, players will receive 7 camouflage patterns
such as: Camo - UK, Camo - USA, Camo - Japan, etc. You
should be able to apply this pattern to a single vehicle of your
choice from each nation's tech tree through the regular
"Exterior" interface for the Summer camouflage pattern.
Additionally, you will get to "preview" your camouflage just
like any other camouflage pattern before confirming application.
(Note: When previewing this pattern on your tanks, I would
be cautious about hitting "Accept" below when you select that
camouflage pattern because that will "confirm" your camouflage
pattern application)

So, wulfie, it's probably better that you hear this now, and
directly from me, because you'll be finding out soon enough....and
as WG suggests, don't take this seriously, but my clan finds many
of your posts very insulting, disrespectful, and
inappropriate....among other things. But hey, like Wargaming said,
it's just a 'for-fun' system anyway...besides, there's more
important things in life, just ignore the rep if it bothers you
that much. -Iron_Soul_Stealer

don't even want the rep system. I voted against it. As a player, i
think players bully each other with it, and if it were up to me,
i'd just take the proverbial nerf guns away, so that there's less
ways to punk each other in the forums. i hate that new players dont
feel comfortable coming to the forums because they get yelled at
for asking questions in the NEW PLAYER SECTION by other players who
are established. The purpose of a community is shared interest and
experience - fellowship. It should feel safe here for everyone.
#imo 2.) I am however, also representing WG - and one thing I want
us to do as WG, that we're trying to learn to do better - is to
ask, poll, and represent what you want. Sometimes this goes against
my preferences as a player, but that's the job. In this scenario,
Krista the player, thinks that showing the rep system is an awful
idea. But enough players asked for it, that KMaus (of WG) wanted to
look into it. Part of my job is representing Wargaming, but part of
it is representing you and your wants as players - regardless of
whether they align with my personal agendas (ie: hating the rep
system). There are millions of us, playing this game, and having
very different opinions on pretty much everything. I'm trying to
understand as many of the pieces as possible.
3.) This functionality is currently restricted and for now, only staff / mods has access to this. I'm not sure if it will change in the future, but we want to know if you guys have a strong preference either way so that we keep that in mind.
I understand you seem to feel strongly about it, and i share many of your sentiments on a personal level. solidarity.
