Draschel: even on level ground, armor profile displays alot of red vs 340
HEAT. And certainly not alot of green. I don't like taking a 50/50
yellow pen marker.Even with the protection, the HP is
alright, fairly arty resistant as the sides are 100+. front
roof is 90mm, top of the turret is 50. Thats like a super
heavy. The mobility is not spectacular, but compared to
something like super conquer or IS4 is quite a notch better.
Thats the speed it -SHOULD- have. The gun also
performs radically better than IS4, somewhere in the middle between
IS4 and 113. in its near release form, the bottom
of the hull should just have been raised from 20 to 30, not 55. 55
is too much. Drop the pen to 310 like ST-II. Drop the HP/T to 12-13
like IS4 and super conquerThen the tank has compromises more of a
fit

Draschel: How about appropriately -weighing- inter-class differing tanks into
MM? For example, S1 isn't TS5. The MM can be made to appropriately
sift out mismatches, such as AMX50B vs E100. How about
capping powerful, specified tanks per battle, per team. Just like
PzK 35H in tier 2, that WG did a DECADE AGO. Powerful, unmatchable
tanks, capped at 1-2 per side. ALWAYS matched vs another, other
side. They can do this exact thing, NOW with chieftain and
Concept1, kamp panzer? 907s and 121B. 260s and 279E. Mirror match
them, and limit them to 1-2 per side. WG response was removing
them from ranked, for the same reason How about removing
artillery and light tank classes. And making them tank destroyer
and medium tanks respectively. This removes broken, hard to counter
aspects of the game. This forces people to learn more of
performance, mechanics, and use less of broken crutching
handouts The EBR dilemma. Make them tank destroyers. Remove
auto-lock. make them trackable. Make them able to over-turn and
crew death time-out. Severely nerf their terrain crossing
stats. Rebalance autoloaders to their former selves.
Autoloaders are supposed to have terrible stats, like age-old Even
90, Bat Chat 25, T57. Not stats like Progetto
46. How about making 6th sense free, but 4 seconds. Make
the newer skill 6th sense 2.0, an improvement to 3s. And then
the directive improves to 1.5 How about removing bots in the
game, and capping tiers 1-6 with 3 skill crews only, so we don't
have proliferate man clubbers Last but not least, do something
with this dreadful ridiculous 25% RNG, and instate +1/-1

pulling everything into the central gravity of 50% W/R for all,
mean that players who currently try hard to win more than 50%
benefit? and players who don't try and don't give a flying F
about the game, don't mind a gracious 44% but certainly would
accept being pulled towards 50. How is this fair? Are you a
communist? There are fairer ways we can modernize the
game.

Draschel: It is slow. STI may look the part, as a more compact stream-lined
design, but in reality HP/T doesn't change from KV3 and KV4. It
basically drives around like 110 and 112. Slow. How slow, well
a touch faster than VK4502B (P). Not exactly breaking any speed
records. But hey at least you are faster than Type 4 heavy,
Maushcen, E75? And have significantly more sloped
armor. In addition STI follows through with bad gun handling,
having poor aim-time, accuracy, dispersion values. The shell
velocity is legit, but all in all the gun handling is bad for tier
7 nevermind tier 9. View range is acceptable, DPM after
buffs are acceptable, but where ST-I shines is its complete armor
package. It has generous armor everywhere. Even the cupola, like
Type 4 and 5, or 268 V 4, T62A is significantly hardened and iffy
pen for 240-250 pen AP

Draschel: I was like that, before. When I started. Hundreds, thousands of
games into a collection of free, tier 4-6 grinders. T150,
KV1, Jag pz, VK3601, SU100, Matilda. My first lines were object
268, Fochs 155, E50M, JP E100, Conquer GC. I'd do the daily double
in each of the lines, and appropriately play 10-12 support battles
in the crappy credit gatherers to provide for the progress. I'd be
lucky if I even managed 25,000 credit progress a night. BUT,
luckily seldom did I lose credits. How the things were different
back then, where 5 million credits meant the world to me. No,
5 million credits are things I can throw down a night, then the
night later. While not to say I make a plume of credits every
night, and I certainly work now as opposed to then, around 45 hours
a week - a weekend to myself doing SH I can manage 1-2 million. So
6 million a month seems reasonable a goal. My fortunes changed
big, 2012. I won a tier IV tournament, awarded 40,000 gold. I
bought IS6, 112 the first moment they went 30% off sale price. A
year later, won 12,000 in a cross world of tanks / planes
tournament. Even without premium time, and even just spam 530
damage HE splashing things like mini-KV2 but with more
accuracy and ROF, they could easily make 30,000+ credits a battle
and cause 1k+ damage. Economically huge, training wise, huge. But
not so great on the WN7 and efficiency. Then I bought 59-patton,
STA2, won IS5 in CW - and these became my more played premiums
because they teach speed. And speed teaches ability. Have not
looked back, and no longer grind tiers 4-6 for cash
anymore.

field day in this thread, people naturally fixate on things that
are net negatives to them as opposed to the positives, how many
people do you think have gone "oh no, I rolled high
AGAIN...." Besides which you will never know your real damage
rolls, how many times have you ammo racked a really low HP tank? So
they take 20 HP damage (and die) as opposed to 1500, its the same
with normal rolls, your 20hp kill shot could have been a max damage
roll, you will never know. Im confident that in the long run
it evens out, even if it doesnt "feel" like it.

Jaguarz: For you after having a look through your stats and tanks
Phase AE for sure, its the strongest tank for you, the char is a
difficult beast to get the best from and the 777 is kinda meh.

you understand how things work Short answer is, you have no
idea. Long answer is, well long. The game was designed, a
decade ago to have convenience delivered, in the form of
rewards+time, AKA gains primarily seen with premium account. Yes,
early available tanks like Churchilll III, IS6, Type 59, Lowe,
Mutant 6 were great, especially stacking with premium account but
premium account is the major thing. Remember, there were no 5x
victory reserve multipliers, were no boosters, were no battle pass.
These things are now things, that people didn't have for years. So
when you say nonsense such as I can't make that money in borsig,
you sound laughable.So, free to play existed and still exists.
Sure. And players can still do it, at a very fine competent level.
But it discards convenience, time, value. And people DIDN'T DO IT,
with a tier 8. Cromwells, T150, M4 & Pz IV,
Jumbo, BDR GR1, KV1, Jag panzer IV, SU100, T67 were the earners. Do
you think free to play players, are going to sit in a tier with
expensive repairs, where most ammo costs 1k per shot? Tier 5 and 6
has the ratios people, wise enough to easily realize, require. T67
can spend 300 credits for 300 damage. Even a Lowe though a great
eanrer, spends 1K to cause 320. Thats just not the free to play,
viable economy. Free to play economy, didn't invoke grinding. It
was one step forward, 3 steps to the side, 1 step forward again, 3
to the side. AKA, play your tier 5 + 6 -3x, then get your
doubles in 2-3 tier 7-8-9 grinds, then -3x of your 5-6 earners
again. Does such an economy still exist? It can but
isn't popular, and with all the new boons is rare nowadays.
Boosters, battle pass, missions, campaign side quest rewards,
tournaments ease the pain of the once tedious grind, and yes now
its something you can do in tier 7-8. But the truly responsible,
account manager who wants to progressively earn and not dig a
whole, isn't grinding tier 8s for cash unless FL: (rentals)
clan SH, tournaments, and putting tournament rewards to
use.

Jaguarz: The difference between a blowout and a close game can
literally be one person in the right/wrong place, sometimes it
doesnt matter what we do and you are going to get trounced
severely. To put it into conext the difference between a pretty
good player and a bot is the ability to win one more game out of
10. Looking over your statistics this poor quality run you are
having is being influenced by you playing tanks outside your
comfort zone and as a result you are getting frustrated which
compounds with inexperience and makes things worse. You are
playing t9s and t10s, a pool which your ability to influence a
battle positively is reduced due to the HP vs damage spread you
need to work with, mediocre players will never do well in t10 and
to be honest, its not even a very fun tier imo. I assume you are
playing these tiers to try and skip parts of the marathon? Not that
it matters, just wondered. You need to find your joy again, I
notice you are best in TDs and light tanks and are less good in
mediums and heavies, its good to branch out into areas you dont do
well in, it helps you grow as a player and teaches you the
drawbacks and weaknesses but it can be a hard time, especially in
the high tiers and you dont want to learn there, Pack your
prog 65 and conqueror away and practice in the Bisonte and 54 mod
1, I would sooner play the pantera but I dont know if you retained
that after researching the next tank. If you are a pleasant
conversationalist and are willing to co-ordinate and be on discord
(and speak english) throw me an in game friend request, Im not sure
my method of play is anything anyone should learn as I like to do
high risk/reward plays but the offers there and sometimes sharing
the pain is therapeutic anyway. Never forget, some days you
are the hammer, some days the nail, I have had days of 20% wins

Draschel: Not big on mentioning arta buffs, what I believe they should get
and deserve is ability to mount hardening or
resistance. Since arta get survival as their new field mod
secondary bonus equipment piece, spall .....could.....work but
seldom better than hardening. Hardening gives arta great
chance to survive important 1-shots: tier 8 from common 440
alpha, tier 9 490 alpha, and tier 10 560
alpha. While it may seem stupid to not use firepower
boosting equipment, not everyone is super duper hipper turbo
competitive or in CW. Bang for your buck, suggests using bonus slot
spaces. I think choosing scout slot could also work, but using
binoculars or camo net is stationary or bust. And when
arta are forced to fend for themselves, it generally isn't an
stationary ordeal. That leaves optics which gives provides
useless VR still, or low noise exhaust?

Ensk Syndrome) situation. 1. Make SPGs now tank
destroyers. 1.12 has already provided them with anti tank
ammunition, just change back their HE damages, to normal tank gun
HE damage. Apply 1.12 HE changes, remove stun.2. Improve
these new tank destroyer HP, VR, track traverse, aim-time,
accuracy, dispersion values, shell velocity to mimic
current tank destroyers, and similar armament. For example, a
Wespe with 105mm will perform alot like Hetzer with 105mm. SU8 with

and same equipment is balanced, then you and I as drivers and boom,
unbalanced, its impossible to account for players. That said
there are nonsense tanks like the chieftain which are just out and

Draschel: We see it clearly. In Skill4tu latest rendition of IS7, we see
him go hulldown against super conquer in Karelia, north
cap.Skill switches to HE to hit the roof and cupola of super
conquer, and deals 130 and 240 damage consecutively. Not bad damage
rolls at all, considering 51 & 69mm of armor. It seems
indepth, the HE changes dramatically decrease the sustained
damage from HE attack to thick armor. Light armor seems to not fare
any differently, maybe even worse.In Mannerheim, Skill sees Leo PTA
take 950 from 183, non penetration. Thats quite alot. With FV4005
just recently, he splashes EBR105 for 850.I shot hulldown progetto
46 in FL with HE out of 50TP, which was loaded for 2HP Skoda
T27 - over 280 thats more than half HE damage
roll. Typically these sort of splashes pre 1.12 would do
600-800 for a splash.

Jaguarz: Right? In xvm I would look like a very useful player if I
didnt go anonymous and sometimes I am, but often I play high
risk/reward strategies which can look like going full potato
whereas I have seen people with abysmal stats carry a game like a
god

Jaguarz: Seriously, its literal mind cancer and very few people have the
discipline to interpret its useful information properly. For
example today a very slightly above average player in a EBR starts
sounding off from the get go about how the match was a loss even
before it began, he proceeded to continue to whine while putting
out a garbage display of map reading. grabbing a little bit of
damage from tanks out of position, he died then continued to mouth
off about loser teams and how his stats were the best (they werent,
he was the embodiment of mediocrity) and unfortunately I wasted too
much time expecting him to do anything of use before moving to
support the collapsing flank, my bad. Still it was a very
close game which would likely have gone a different way if imbecile
EBR hadnt resigned himself to a fate before it began thanks to the
literally worthless XVM win chance. It takes a mature player
to get the best from XVM and it can provide very useful intel but
the amount of people who can use it to influence a battle are few
and far between, especially with the anonymizer in effect, I dont
use it because seeing a bunch of red players on my side would have
a negative effect on my state of mind which would likely effect my
play and choices, Im mature enough to appreciate that Im not mature
enough to use XVM. XVM is trash, weak players need to stop
fixating on it.

Jaguarz: It is absolutely 100% your connection TO the servers, it is
not the servers themselves, its not your ISP or internet
connection, it IS 99% telias backbone giving you a pathway to the
servers which is hitting problematic nodes on the way. When it
happens to me I use a VPN to bypass the problem areas (surfshark I
think it is). The WGNA team can do literally nothing about this bit
whine at Telia who will laugh at them. Think of the internet
as a road network and theres a accident at a junction slowing
traffic down to a crawl, the VPN allows you to bypass that to a
degree by choosing your own route. You can easily test by
using a trial of a VPN

churchill50: No, it really didn't. There were no changes to that gun when
the VK28.01 was released. The only recent change to the Hetzer
gun was with the HE changes a couple of months back.

churchill50: It still does plenty of damage. You just have to know when to
fire HEAT and when to fire HE. Plus it's been the most fun
I've had in this game in a while, so I would say it was a great
Well-Deserved Reward.
