Quite often I've been in match, where one single enemy is alive hiding/avoiding contact. Usually in that situation, some players will start to cap enemy base, while others start yelling "dont cap, we kill all".
As stated in opening post, each player staying in capturing-circle are rewarded with XP, so I wonder why arent everyone or most of those still alive head directly in that circle and gain XP, instead of chasing single tank, which can grant XP for only 1 or 2 player?

On the subject of muzzle velocity, realistically the German tanks and TDs used the same guns - I realize in this game that they are treated differently by being more accurate as well as having a higher rof.
But my question is: do they seriously also have less penetration loss over distance? (given the fact that the devs have given them the same amount of maximum penetration).

merig00: Yes. Pen. loss is calculated using the tables. Bullet drop exists
but most of the time it's not that significant since most battles
are conducted at the short range.

Sorry it still is a little confusing.

Link on message: #128616

merig00: Not really. TD guns have the highest muzzle velocity in the game -
so they can shoot long distance without bullet drop or much loss in
penetration value. If they had as long view distance - it wouldn't
be much fun. The way it is set up right now - TD and SPG need
"eyes" in front so this way teamwork is promoted.

Losing all chat capabilities is due to a chat issue. At least its better then being banned from the game of X amount of days
In the end avoid these issues and its not an issue you ever have to deal with.

me that steps were already being taken to prevent that, so I
dropped it.
Without going into detail (mods would prolly dislike it heavily), I can tell you, it's trivial (1 or 2 hours) to code a macro for each map to scout for instance. Making a tank go in a given path, based on map recognition.
However these have little influence in the game. What ticked me off, were the (they disappeared now afaics) dudes macroing/botting with high-end tanks, that always put their team at a disadvantage.
That being said, I'm sure there's some sort of anti-bot/macro measure coming up the pipes.

Also notice that your aim triangle inside the circle changes colors when you aim at the enemy.
