rewarded for bouncing or dinging an enemy tank, sometimes a bounce
does do damage. Do we get rewarded for that? The answer does seem
obvious i.e. getting rewarded for doing damage, but I just want to
confirm. Thanks.

Quite often I've been in match, where one single enemy is alive hiding/avoiding contact. Usually in that situation, some players will start to cap enemy base, while others start yelling "dont cap, we kill all".
As stated in opening post, each player staying in capturing-circle are rewarded with XP, so I wonder why arent everyone or most of those still alive head directly in that circle and gain XP, instead of chasing single tank, which can grant XP for only 1 or 2 player?
merig00: If damage is done - you get rewarded.

merig00: Because hunting down that last tank is more fun than standing in a
circle
