This frustration often makes me react emotionally in chat and can sometimes end up with me being chat banned.  I think it would be great if WG added a feature to the minimap (or even the main map) that allowed us to click (once) on someone who is camping and add a "campfire" logo or some other visual representation to illustrate our frustration with them..   I was thinking of saying I'd send 250 gold to the 1st positive response if the thread made it over 2 pages without anyone breaking the rules, but then thought that would be too much like bribery.  There are other reasons, but I am leaving the negativity out of it.    Let the games begin!

eekeeboo:   I want to apologise for not coming here sooner! As you can imagine the arty changes announcement has had me very engaged today in FB, YT and the forums!    That being said I want to say this is an amazing initiative and I look forward to the comments made, please keep up the awesome work as I believe you have already had some expression :)    Additionally, I want to add, while the thread continues in the vein of the original post I will find answers to all questions asked and I will say if I can't answer a question clearly. Please understand this will require time and it probably won't happen until Monday when I'm back in the office, this is my last act in the office for the weekend and I wish you a wonderful time!

eekeeboo:   You will notice you do the same damage and same stun on a tank you hit on your own, the only thing that was reduced was stacking stun and the effect of long distance radius. The rest is the same, that's why it modification and not reduce.

eekeeboo:   The benefits of artillery are still there, you just have to consider more carefully how to get the best out of them and piling on the same tank to keep them suppressed is not as effective as choosing different targets.

You wrote earlier there have/are many complaints about stun, what about all the other complaints about MM, RNG, OP tanks, new op premium tanks, obsolete ols prem tanks, wheelies etc.?
Like so many here has pointed out, it is so easy to balance, reduce number of SPG's to one or two per side.  

eekeeboo:   MM is being changed and tested, RNG is part of the game and will not be changed, OP tanks are balanced over time, Old tanks are balanced and brought up over time (Review what's coming in 2019 article) and wheeled vehicles are liked as much as hated in different parts of the community. Again the important thing is to look at the whole picture, the whole player base and get the best solution in the middle while also consider not all changes come overnight and people need to sleep, developers are not robots and do as much as they can considering the work involved in every part of the game.

eekeeboo:   The aim is not to remove the playability of the class but to make it so it's not too easy to play while not too difficult and have the appropriate effect in a battle that does not frustrate other players etc. Granted this will always be problematic in a PVP game where frustrating the enemy is your primary goal, but it's something we have to work at.

eekeeboo:   There are a variety of strong tanks and those more challenging to play. The key is to balance and a variety of low skill floor tanks for more "casual" gamers but ensuring they do not have a huge impact on the battle vs those with a high skill floor and so forth. eekeeboo:   They allow players who like tanks and that type of play to be able to play, if they are unable to play other classes for whatever reason, this allows them to play and support their team. Artillery can add a lot to the game.

The problem was AP shells. instead of nerfing arty to oblivion they should have kept the old system, removed AP and made the splash radius bigger. That way tanks only got hit once a minute, less often due to accuracy and for less damage. 

eekeeboo:   1) This change is intended not to change anything drastically with SPG play and the mechanics involved only alter the considerations players must make when choosing a target.  2) As far as I'm aware there are no compensatory changes to be made to some vehicles across the board, only minor changes to individual artillery. 3) There should not be an overall in a reduction of damage, there may be a reduction in overall assisted damage, but this is countered by choosing your targets more carefully.  4) There is an assisted damage function in place already with stunning an enemy or tracking them.

eekeeboo:   There will be minor changes to individual arty, the main balance mentioned is intended to prevent the issue of all 3 arty hitting you all at once and you having a VERY bad time for a long time.

When the battle starts randomly arty will get one of these 3 options and no 2 SPG's can have the same option in the same team.   tl;dr : Make arty a support class which promotes dynamic game play with cool mechanics.

jeśli chodzi o misje, to na razie nie ma wieści o zmianach. Jeśli okaże się, że efektywność artylerii spadła wówczas misje zostaną odpowiednio dostosowane.    Pozdrawiam!
