Ectar:     Well it's more really "now the patch is out, what do you want to ask about"?  - At the time of writing the article the patch date wasn't confirmed and the plan was the have the AMA after the patch without giving away when the patch was, hence the wording "upcoming patch"

Ectar:   The Type 59 will never be coming back to the shops.  The tier X tanks that are Clan Wars rewards will never come to the shops.  Any player who believes otherwise will be waiting a very long time (forever).  We've said multiple times what the fate of the Type 59 is and it's future.    For the Clan Wars reward tanks, they have been specifically set aside as rewards to encourage players to play Clan Wars.  There will be no planned other method to get these tanks outside of Clan Wars. We have stated multiple times that we will never sell tanks higher than tier 8.  If you don't play clan wars or don't want to, then these tanks will never be available to you.

Ectar:     I'm sorry but I just want to correct you here.  The mouse wasn't available for "weeks" nor could it be pre-ordered in advance.. The Razer page only went live very late in the evening on the 26th of March. Our portal announcement was made on the 27th.  Before that date the page wasn't live on the Razer site so it was impossible for anyone to order it as no members of the public even knew the offer existed. It was never available for "weeks" in advance.    In this situation I have to ask you not to make totally false claims like this as all you're doing is misleading other players.  The demand for the mouse and tank was way higher than expected and it was a global announcement. We hope to have this package available again in the future. Please note however that there is no plans for the PZ IV Hydro to ever come to the gift shop.  It's been stated for a long time that certain tanks are set aside for different reasons and making them available as part of a retail package or promotion is one of these reasons.   As for players claiming they didn't order because the tank wasn't guaranteed. The code is in the packaging, It's not something sent separate.  Every mouse sold comes with a code when bought direct from Razer. If you were to buy the mouse 2nd had via another vendor and the code was missing, that's something you would need to take up with vendor/retailer you bought the code from.  We can generate new codes a lot quicker than new mouse can be made up, sadly it was the mice that were limited and we hope to have another batch/run requested in the future.

Ectar:     You're going totally off topic here, but the entire point of the Razer Promo is a combo package.  If you buy a WG branded Deathadder without a code then you're not buying it from Razer as there code will be in the packaging.  You can't buy that specific mouse from Razer without the code.

Ectar:   It was never going to be fixed for this round. I'll explain why.   The issue isn't related to beta testers. The problem is because eligible test accounts are taken from a snapshot of the live severs at some point before the test round is active. This time around there is an issue for EU players who also have NA accounts using the same e-mail address. The snapshot related to that e-mail address taken from their NA account which is either inactive or suspended. (In past the NA server data was likely the last server snapshot to be pulled, this time around I believe it may have been first).   In this situation, players need to contact our NA support team who are aware of this and can change settings behind the scene.   This won't suddenly make your account active for 9.0 testing because the list of eligible accounts was created before the testing period. It's not updated as the test goes on.   Players who were unable to access the test server for 9.0 should be able to access our later test servers provided they follow the above information.

Ectar:   Well I think most people who go for the E3 don't go for it with the intention to play in Clan Wars.  As Clan Wars is all about min/maxing there is always going to be a small select group of tanks that people will choose from.  TD's normally don't apply as they lack flexibility. (And there is too many situations where not having a turret is a massive disadvantage).    Penetrating the T95 cupola with your Tiger on the move is a fluke and RNG favoured you. In any normal situation a T95 would demolish a Tiger unless they're distracted by a more serious threat.  There is a massive amount of tanks that can be damaged by lower tier tanks if you know where to aim.  That doesn't mean you're always going to be killing these tanks. It would take 8 rounds from a Tiger to kill a T95 and that's assuming: No one else is trying to kill you, You're hitting and penetrating the weakspot of the T95 each time,  The T95 driving is letting you shoot him! :blinky: Both the T95 and the E3 are monster tanks but like any tank that has certain flaws (speed/agility for the T95) the tanks are map and team dependant.  As you can't ever control those factors the tanks take a bit of understanding to get the best from them.

Ectar:   When it comes to the top 10 visits on the portal/forums. The Netherlands usually comes in that top 10 or is just outside it.   There is actually a surprizing very high amount of players logging in and playing from the Netherlands which is why we recently added a Dutch subsection to our forums.   We're always tracking the visits to our portal & forums carefully along with the login information on our forums to see where people are playing and visiting from.

Ectar: To clear up any confusion, for "Fire and Water" the mission with SPG's and light tanks... You don't have to use both. You could do the mission in only SPG's or only in lights tanks.   For "Main Forces" it's the same idea. You could choose to only use medium tanks, or heavy tanks or tank destroyers (or any combination of all 3).   Good luck commanders!

Ectar: Greetings Commanders,   Please find below the changes from phase 2 to phase 3 of the 9.0 public test.   Issue with permanent disconnections from server on PCs with AMD processors fixed. Post effect issue affecting Sniper aim depending on type of additional mounted equipment fixed. Option to disable Sniper aim post effect added. The following maps reworked for better lighting: “Mountain Pass”, “Mines”, “Erlenberg”, “Malinovka”, “Ensk”, “Ruinberg”, “Province”, “El Halluf”, “Sand River”, “Winter Himmelsdorf”, “Serene Coast”, “South Coast”, “Highway”, “Northwest”, “Live Oaks”. Certain bugs and defects in Premium and Non-Premium Garages fixed. Camera displacement in Exterior window fixed. Lamp blinking in Premium Garage fixed. Issue with camera clinging to lamp in Premium Garage fixed. Issue with tracks of certain French vehicles being too dark fixed. Т-34-85 and Centurion 7/1 vehicles reworked for better quality. (HD Models) Bugs and defects in the following updated vehicles fixed: Т-54, Tiger, Panther, Maus, M103, Hellcat, M4 Sherman, and Tortoise. Bugs and defects of the following damaged vehicles fixed: Т-54, М103, and Tortoise. Certain game client crashes fixed. Volume of gunfire reverted to the level in version 8.11. Effects of dust raised by gunfire debugged. Display of shadows cast by a number of objects on different maps fixed. Issue with player list (TAB) refusing to go off screen fixed. Certain bugs in display of tank’s blown-off turret fixed. Issue with blown-off turret getting suspended in midair fixed. Issue with vehicle getting stuck upon contact with another destroyed vehicle fixed. Camouflage issues affecting certain vehicles fixed. Issue with display of tooltips in “Service Record” window fixed. Text descriptions for settings in “Graphics” tab finalized. Issue with reticle jumping around when in Sniper mode fixed. Issue with impossibility to change graphics settings in certain cases fixed. Issue with display of gunfire effects while in Sniper mode with disabled additional effects fixed. Issue with tracers being insufficiently bright on certain maps fixed. Issue with transparent landscape being displayed during the 1st second after map downloading fixed. Issues with display of tooltips for historical loadout in “Service” window fixed. Engine exhaust effects debugged. M24 Chaffee tank retains its previous turret. Gunshot effects for certain vehicles fixed. Certain bugs with battle playback fixed.

Ectar: Commanders!   As little Karl has had such a positive impact on the community, we have decided to extend this game mode and map until 7am CEST on the 7th of April.  This means players will be able to lob shells all weekend on the 8 bit map.  We're glad our community has enjoyed this little April Fool's joke and thanks for all the feedback we're received. :honoring:
