Ectar: Was an awesome event I always enjoy visiting the Netherlands, that's 3 events I've done there now!  I actually lost my voice on Sunday due to all the talking on Saturday and then later shouting in the nightclub. Apologies to Amayii regarding my answers to his questions, with the loud music we appear to have got some things mixed up. In future I'll make sure to speak to players somewhere quieter!

Ectar:   The tanks that are featured are the ones most commonly used in the 7v7 format which this entire special is based around. It has nothing to do with the IS-3 being Russian and you're looking for a reason that doesn't exist.

Ectar:   That is still to come. The news for this article is first because this event starts first.  The news article for "They Sow the Wind and Reap the Whirlwind" will come tomorrow and there is multiple options for players to make credits from that event.

Ectar:   I believe it's for historical battles where sniper view has a blue tint to it like you're seeing the view through thick glass or something. With coated optics it removed this effect and the view was normal.  I'll get it double checked.

Ectar:   Invites are sent out in waves/batches.   Please can all players remember that any feedback about World of Tanks Blitz needs to be directed to the specific closed beta section on the Blitz forums.   This is a closed beta which means it's under an NDA and you shouldn't be openly discussing the game.

Ectar:   Future plans are impossible to predict korui, and things can always change. All I know is that for now we have no plans to ever have this tank available in the giftshop. It's been said for a while that the Hydro and other tanks would be used for different promotions. - Remember the Hydro isn't commonly available on any other server like NA or RU (China sets it's own rules and isn't directly controlled by WG with regards to giftshop stuff).

Ectar:   This is what's known as "cross promotion".  The mouse and mousemat is World of Tanks branded and the direct/main market is World of Tanks players. It makes sense to advertise your product to your biggest potential market and what better way to reach them than via the main website portal of their game? We very rarely have articles like this on the portal. The only other office retail partner we have is J!NX and their products sell very well. (And funnily enough show sales spikes when advertised/promoted on our main portal).

Ectar:   As I pointed out earlier. The pricing of the items is standard with other branded Razer products. We added the gold/premium to the mousepad and the Hydro and garage to the mouse as something extra. If players are going to look at it as an 80 euro tank or even a 10 euro tank, you're looking at it wrong. We don't really expect people to buy the mouse for the tank. It's more really "hey you bought this cool branded item for our game, here's something unique to say thanks".  For some people the price is high, for other people who regularly buy gaming accessories it's an average and normal price for goods like this.  If you disagree with the pricing that's fair enough, but then you'll find most gaming accessories for the main companies are prices similarly, especially if the company does branded items specific for games or for professional esports teams/organisations.   Regarding the tank on offer, If we have something that is intended to be special and limited and then we make it commonly available for free or for cheap... It defies the entire point of wanting to make it special and limited in the first place... Sorry guys but you can't have it both ways and not every tank we design/create will always be commonly available via the in-game store or be available for reduced price. Having additional items or exclusive items in a promotion is something that's been around for ages.    When it comes to gaming mice everyone will always have different opinions and you're perfectly entitled to them. If a 5 euro mouse from 1995 is still going strong for you, then I'm glad you found something that suits your needs.

Ectar:   The prices are standard and are the same as other similarly branded Razer items, for example the Capcom mousemat or CLG version of the Deathadder.   With our branded items we also give players in-game goodies and the Premium Pz. IV Hydro is exclusive to the mouse. We have no current plans to make it later available via the giftshop or in-game store.

Ectar:   Indeed, from speaking to the people at Bovington they reckon the fact the turret was jammed rattled the crew who until then thought that the Tiger's were invincible and thus they abandoned it.  You can still clearly see the damage from the 6 pounder on the tank.  When it came back to the UK it was disassembled and then reassembled. It's amazing that it's still running today.   I've been standing on the top of it when it was stationary (We had an all star pass for Tiger Day 2013) and also been standing beside it when it is running. It's an awesome sight and sound.

Ectar: The issues I have with trolls or want to be trolls is fairly simply.   Trolling to be funny - It has it's place but it's important to know when to stop and let it go. Trolling just to provoke negative reactions - Not cool and those people are never taken seriously nor are their opinions valued.   As always with the 2nd category the answer is just to ignore them.  When someone is crying out for attention the worst thing that can happen to them is to get none.  Sadly someone will always rise to the bait and then the flaming and trolling continues.   If you want to be funny you need to know your audience and also know when to stop.  Far too many people who think they're funny just don't get when to let meme or joke go.

Ectar:   Well if 3 guys are aiming at him when a snowstorm drops in they should still take their shots!  Lets wait and see when it's implemented before everyone immediately starts going through the pros and cons. It's still in development which means it's totally subject to change and could either not make it, or look totally different when available for testing.

VIC with the 9.0 update.   Please keep your posts as clear and constructive as possible - irrelevant/off-topic entries will be deleted.   Thanks in advance   T7 Combat Car Maximum forward and reverse speed increased from 38.6 to 56 km/h, and from 16 to 20 km/h, respectively. Ammunition capacity changed from 1,100 to 1,350 shells. 12.7mm MG HB M2, 12.7mm MG HB M2 A and 12.7mm T23 heavy machine guns: Rate of fire per shell container increased from 450 to 550 r/m. Gun range increased from 350 to 395 m. Penetration increased from 22 to 27 mm.   Light Mk. VIC Gun range increased from 350 to 395 m. Penetration increased from 25 to 27 mm.

An option added for setting “Colour filter” intensity. An option added for setting screen refresh rate.   Phase 2   New Non-Premium Garage added. Lighting improved on the following maps: “Malinovka”, “Steppes”, “Abbey”, “Himmelsdorf”, “Mountain Pass”. Textures and models of 150 tanks reworked to match new lighting. “Change Graphics Settings” model dialog box added on initial game client launch.  Synchronization of tracks and driving wheels added. - Option to change full-screen effect added depending on whether Coated Optics are mounted or not.

Visual depiction of “Dispersion indicator” during battle playback fixed. Minor bugs during battle playback fixed. Issue with artillery shells landing out of dispersion circle in Artillery mode fixed. Issue with artillery shells exploding in midair fixed. Issue with game client hanging up on exit fixed. Game client performance on some PC configurations improved. Draw quality of decals* and motion blur effect optimized. Performance issue after enabling track traces fixed. Display of shadows on flora at medium and high settings fixed. Notification and invitation windows when in the Garage fixed. Table displaying tiers of vehicles in queue removed. “Ammunition is empty” message added when pressing F8 after running out of shells. Issue with possibility to enter into historical battles in a tank of non-historical configuration fixed. Certain tracks display issues affecting updated tank models (gray contours, excessive stretching, etc.) fixed. Issue with improper types of texture being displayed on updated tank models fixed. Volume of tank engine and suspension sounds reconfigured. Volume of shooting and explosion sounds reconfigured. Issues with display of pop-up help messages for historical ammunition fixed. Penetrations indicator performance in after-battle statistics window fixed. Certain graphics issues and new Premium Garage defects fixed. Issue with graphical artifacts appearing when “Motion Blur” is set to low fixed. Synchronization of tracks and driving wheels added. Option to change full-screen effect added depending on whether Coated Optics are mounted or not. Issue with tanks occasionally getting stuck in a battle fixed.
