Subject: Skill in WOT is no longer needed.

Even in low tier people can't do without using gold rounds. When
you face either a tomato or a green to purple player, they only
shot gold rounds. well the so called good players would have noob
rating as well if it wasn't for the ability to load up gold.
If WOT should ever again become the great game it once was, then
they should remove gold rounds from the game, period. Then we would
be back to aiming for weakspots, flanking etc. meaning you once
again would have to work on your gameplay. As it is now, WOT
no longer requires skill, just a fast firing medium tank. Using
gold rounds = no skill = noob

that's not flanking, does against a non turreted TD? You can't
trade shots in a medium frontally with a heavy or TD, no matter
what gun you have. You still need to think about terrain and you
still need to protect your tank and use cover. If you want
to win games the biggest thing people need to learn is map
awareness followed by knowing how to deal with the various enemy
tanks and where to shoot them. If you're relying on gold ammo it's
only going to get you so far.

Rounds are ruined by this! The thing makes no sense and like gold

game?

button in time and end up dying to a fire they had all the time in
the world to extinguish if they just didn't panic. you'll
find that many people who you believe to have automated fire
extinguishers are actually just really quick at reacting. Many
players for example change the keybind to spacebar as it's easier
to hit in the heat of battle. (pun intended)

the 30% discount, they don't add up to a 45% discount.
Alteisen, on 01 August 2014 - 07:37 AM, said: It would be nice of WGEU explains why it is 15% more income and not
30%.Ectar: I guess this answer may get lost in the forums but hopefully
people will reference it. For a little while now there has
been a bit of a credit saturation/flood. It's been easier more than
ever for players to generate income. High tier tanks
especially were becoming credit farming machines and if you
were savvy, it was possible for premium tanks to earn even more
credits. At the time no one really complained about this
because well, it was a massive return for little effort and players
benefited from it. Everyone did kinda know/accept however it
was a bit broken and not how we really wanted the progression
system/credit generation system to work. The mission system was new
however and we wanted everyone to see how awesome this new feature
was. To give a perfect example of how crazy it could be,
in July last year It was possible to have up to 60% credit
increase on tier VIII to X tanks from a certain tree by combining
weekly/monthly events. 30% increased credits for Big & Heavy -
Fv4202 line (event lasted for 2 weeks) 30% increased credits for
being in the top 3 damage dealers. (This was either a monthly
mission or a weekly mission) 2/7/2013
- 105,788 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 2/7/2013
- 104,614 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 6/7/2013
- 125,793 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 8/7/2013
- 91,499 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 These matches
are not made up. As you can see these examples are clickable
links to my own replays. Now I consider myself a decent player but
not great and these replays were a snapshot of the kind of credits
I was pulling in. An average game rewarded me with about 70,000 to
80,000 credits. I was walked away with about 50k profit after
repairs etc. To cut a long story short, for a little while
now it's been too easy to make extra credits on top of how the
game was designed with regards to advancement. High tier tanks
especially are not intended to give returns better or similar to
premium tanks. High tier tanks are also priced in such a way
so that they take longer to get. As there isn't much in the way of
credit sinks in the game, the only alternative option *for now* is
to tone down the amount of extra credits players can earn on top of
normal game play. This credit earning downturn is
effect across all regions. It's likely that credit
missions for things like being the top 3 damage will return, but we
have to make sure it's not possible to combine them with other
missions and again we don't want a scenario where the missions
basically circumvent the progression gates we have.

an update globally and the update has an issue, then everyone is
unable to play or everyone has the issue and that is a not a good
situation. If the game is currently playable now and the
update is not essential, then delaying the update to fix an issue
is much better than deploying an update with a known issue.
Updates will always be rolled out regionally, sometimes EU is 2nd,
sometimes we're third, sometimes we're even first. The
benefit of getting to do this means that if anyone issues are
spotted on the first region, that feature can be pulled from
updates on other regions or the update can be delayed
until the issue is fixed. As I told Golem501 on our twitter
- We release the patch when it's ready and we're sure it's ok.
We'll never be pressurised into releasing something early.

pop out and snap shot or circle someone. Granted it's not
going to cover open ground quickly, but if you're coming up in
support and then flanking you're going to have some fun. It's quite
handy in town fights and now I've got my best crew in it:
Brothers in arms Rammer Vents Tea & Pudding = 6.80 reload.
That's putting out quite a bit of pain at tier 10 It was
already a favourite tank of mine and has now jumped ahead of the

disagree with your there. The RoF buff with an already excellent
agility and gun depression makes it a pretty sweet support tank.
Sure it doesn't have the speed of other mediums and it may
not have the armour (only the E50-M has decent enough armour), but
it can lay out quite a serious amount of damage now. It's almost a
full second quicker at shooting.

were reworked. Damage with HVAP M93 premium shell fired from 76 mm
Gun M1A1 and 76 mm Gun M1A2 set equal to the damage with standard
shell for these guns (from 110 to 115). Previously the premium
shell dealt 5 points of damage less than the standard shell.
Removed all scenarios of historical battles from the game. Tank
destroyer SU-85i added to the in-game shop. Any progress toward
unearned medals is removed. Received medals will remain and will be
normally displayed to players.

players and their content in the very near future and also add a
lot more players as contributors. Sadly right now
our team which should be 5 people is only 2 due to promotions
and vacations.

looking for content relevant to update 9.2 It's the

land.Ectar: As I've told players multiple times, until something is on a
test server it's subject to change and sometimes at very short
notice. Even making it to a test server is a not a guide to
new content featuring in the following update. Conflicting
information like this comes from a development cycle where lots of
things are still in flux. This is why you'll pretty much
never have Community Team members comment on future content, will
rarely have Producers comment on future content, and will
generally only see Developers comment on future
content because the developers are the guys who decide what
the content is or not and when it comes!
Even then the developers
could change their minds a week later or even days later.
Again it's not that we don't know what's coming, it's that so many
things are subject to change that saying something on the forums is
likely outdated by next week and players are no closer to knowing
what's going on.

a date of the next patch.Ectar: For the simple reason that the patch release date hasn't
been confirmed yet. do we seriously have to go through this
conversation with players every update? It's not like anything has
changed. We will never announce a patch date in advance
because if for any reason there is a delay, the community get very
very upset as they take any estimated day as "set in stone".
Already as you can see in this thread some of you are
getting upset as if to say we had already said in advance the
update was coming today. We've never said that, It's an
expectation you've set yourself. Please be patient,
update 9.2 will be released for the EU server exactly when it's
ready and everything has been signed off. Until that time comes we
have no further info to give.

Ectar: When the time comes this comment will likely be forgotten/buried in
the forums. All I can say about August is that I doubt many
players will have much to complain about, especially with what's
coming on the first weekend. Take a deep breath when the
monthly missions are announced along with the weekend special,
chill out, relax and take note of all the stuff that's available.
Then you can hit me with what you don't like and what we could have
done differently. I'm really looking forward to seeing
people's reaction for what is planned for the whole month and I'm
sure you'll see why there has been a bit of a slow down recently
with what's been on offer. Right now it's very much the calm
before a major storm!

Ectar: I think this thread has ran it's course. Many of the personal
comments are totally uncalled for and I expect better from regular
members of the forum. Account wipes due to bot reports are
not an automated process. There has to be evidence to back up any
bot reports and we check this internally (which won't be
shared with players because we don't want to tell naughty botters
what to avoid). In this situation Maverick59 needs to contact
our customer support team who are the only people who can assist in
this matter. It's not something that will result in a
different resolution from the forums. - Ectar

give you more details regarding why you were suspended. Please
understand however that being suspended is a punishment. It's not
something where we contact a player and *ask* for their ok to ban

something they enjoy and always being called "fanboys" etc.
It's especially funny when I see certain players do nothing
but post negative comments in every thread they post. (please
understand I'm not accusing you here Hungarian_Patriot) Does
that mean the negative posting players are paid
too?
If so I want to know
who's paying them!
Maybe these players just have a
different opinion or perhaps they know/accept that all the RNG
conspiracy theory threads are unfounded nonsense? Every week
there is a new theory as to why someone loses matches. I admit
claiming people less that 50% win ratio have better aim time and
accuracy is a new one, but normally it's that our MM is rigged and
it's supposed to keep people at a certain win ratio (this ratio
always changes based around the thread creators win ration).
When people are forum regulars and read the same topics over
and over with no new evidence I'm not surprized they may poke fun
at those threads. It's far more easy to blame something that
you can just make up out of thin air, than accept a reasonable
answer/valid point.

Ectar: 1 simple reason - Hardware. Every Xbox 360 console is
the exact same with regards to the hardware and software on board.
Developers don't have to worry about lower spec systems when
making features in a console based version of the game. World of
Tanks wasn't simply ported over, they created a lot of stuff from
the ground up. This is why features like weather can be added in
advance of the PC system because you don't have to worry about
doing something which may make the game unplayable for a certain
percentage of your playerbase.
