Ectar: Discounts don't stack. 30% is greater than 15% so you get
the 30% discount, they don't add up to a 45% discount.

Ectar: I guess this answer may get lost in the forums but hopefully
people will reference it. For a little while now there has
been a bit of a credit saturation/flood. It's been easier more than
ever for players to generate income. High tier tanks
especially were becoming credit farming machines and if you
were savvy, it was possible for premium tanks to earn even more
credits. At the time no one really complained about this
because well, it was a massive return for little effort and players
benefited from it. Everyone did kinda know/accept however it
was a bit broken and not how we really wanted the progression
system/credit generation system to work. The mission system was new
however and we wanted everyone to see how awesome this new feature
was. To give a perfect example of how crazy it could be,
in July last year It was possible to have up to 60% credit
increase on tier VIII to X tanks from a certain tree by combining
weekly/monthly events. 30% increased credits for Big & Heavy -
Fv4202 line (event lasted for 2 weeks) 30% increased credits for
being in the top 3 damage dealers. (This was either a monthly
mission or a weekly mission) 2/7/2013
- 105,788 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 2/7/2013
- 104,614 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 6/7/2013
- 125,793 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 8/7/2013
- 91,499 credits earned Tank used - FV4202 These matches
are not made up. As you can see these examples are clickable
links to my own replays. Now I consider myself a decent player but
not great and these replays were a snapshot of the kind of credits
I was pulling in. An average game rewarded me with about 70,000 to
80,000 credits. I was walked away with about 50k profit after
repairs etc. To cut a long story short, for a little while
now it's been too easy to make extra credits on top of how the
game was designed with regards to advancement. High tier tanks
especially are not intended to give returns better or similar to
premium tanks. High tier tanks are also priced in such a way
so that they take longer to get. As there isn't much in the way of
credit sinks in the game, the only alternative option *for now* is
to tone down the amount of extra credits players can earn on top of
normal game play. This credit earning downturn is
effect across all regions. It's likely that credit
missions for things like being the top 3 damage will return, but we
have to make sure it's not possible to combine them with other
missions and again we don't want a scenario where the missions
basically circumvent the progression gates we have.
