Gnomon: Happy Wednesday, everyone! Let's have a
chat about Province in the upcoming 1.0.1 update.
On the old Province, camping was the way to go due to its layout
and spawn points. However, we have addressed these issues in 1.0.1.
The map was redesigned to speed up gameplay while still having a
larger map. The redesign will be for Tier IV-X vehicles.
Here is some quick info on the changes/new additions:

seu próprio HP (aka Pontos de Energia).
Este vídeo do Zeven explica bem como esta mecânica funciona: Mesmo que você tenha um mod muito bom que faça você acertar um módulo X a cada disparo, você ainda esbarra no RNG para destruir/danificar aquele módulo.
Espero que tenha desmitificado um pouco deste assunto.

The_Chieftain: Fundamentally, it’s recoil space and loading space. Remember that
for the Pz3 and 4, the rounds were very small, and the recoil
stroke not that long. Legs of the commander won’t get in the
way.

bad might not be the same as that of others. It's impossible to
please everyone, which is why we do our best to please as many as
we can. Doesn't always pan out in practice, but that to quote a
famous cartoon scientist "Sometimes science is more of an art than
a science".
My experiences with Port were typically negative. assistance, if I may:
1. Once update 1.0.1 releases, let us know if the issue persists, has gotten better or worse via the Update 1.0.1 feedback thread that I or one of my colleagues will post in either the Wargaming Community Feedback Request forum or News and Information forum.
2. Submit a technical support ticket to our CS team, and go through all their suggested troubleshooting steps. Even if they can't resolve the issue, eliminating potentially contributing factors may provide us with valuable data to pass on to the dev team to resolve this kind of issue.
I suspect this issue may be connection related, as I was experiencing this issue quite a bit on Common Test, but not at all on the current live build. Even if you've got a Gigabit connection, it's possible for there to be issues with one of the hops through which your connection is being routed to our servers. Intervention by your ISP may help mitigate the issue. If not, still gives us useful data.

DomoSapien: To clarify, there are two possible ways to convert XP from a
vehicle.
1) The vehicle has reached "elite" status due to you having researched every possible module for the tank, as well as having researched the next tank(s) in the tech tree. Essentially it's "elite" because there is absolutely nothing left for you to research using the vehicle's accrued XP.
2) Playing a premium vehicle, which is already considered "elite".
Once elite, you can either choose to accelerate crew training so that the XP you earn goes directly to your crew, or leave it off so it goes into a pool of 'convertible' xp. Drawing from this pool of convertible XP does not impact the vehicle which it came from. Theoretically the only drawback to doing so is that when you accrue convertible XP, that's XP that your crew would be getting otherwise. On the other hand, if you're going up the tech tree, and have already retrained your good crew to the next tank, and you're not too concerned with training the filler crew on the previous tank... convertible xp might not be a bad choice.
All of this in mind, I recommend saving your convertible XP for XP Conversion discounts unless absolutely necessary, because when XP Conversion is on discount you get 35 Free XP per 1 Gold instead of 25 Free XP.

this video below. Anton Pankov mentions some maps, new and old, in
the video. He specifically mentions Dragon Ridge and says it's
probably not coming back. We are working on bringing back Port, so
who knows? Maybe Pearl River will make a comeback as well. If we

I try to keep an ear out for any and all rumors, but that's not always possible. I haven't heard anything, but that isn't to say it's off the table. I'll do my best to confirm one way or another for you fine folks, but as of right now it's safe to operate under the assumption that it is on the backburner, at the very least. My personal opinion: arguably, Mittengard is not conducive to the new-player experience because it fits such a specific niche of close-quarters brawling. But it has its merits, at times, like for 1v1 tournaments etc. Whether it's reworked in HD? We'll just have to wait and see, for now.

The_Chieftain: All the Fireflies were converted from 75mm Shermans, and the 75mm
remained in widespread service around the British forces. It would
be reasonable to presume that the guns were put into storage to be
used as spares for other vehicles due to wear-out or battle damage.
Not all the 3" M10s were converted to 17pr. I would assume
that the 3" guns were retained as spares for those vehicles which
were not converted.

Swedish line that awarded Female crew members and credit discounts
for tanks in the past, though I don't know if they same route will
be taken for Italian line. I'll definitely give an update
when that information becomes available. So for now, just
keep an eye out on our portal for any related
news. However, if you haven't finished all of your campaign
missions you can do those and select Italy when you recruit your
Female crew member. I was able to complete my TD-15 of the
T28 concept and get an Italian Female Commander.

We actually have been doing a better job of previewing most of our upcoming maps in development when they hit Supertest and Common Test. Keep a close eye on our Wargaming Community Feedback Requests subforum: There are some versions of that were put up recently, as well as the 1.0.1 Common Test Feedback thread.

so I can make my tanks as ugly as I want. A big goal for World of
Tanks PC is to try and appeal to many audiences, both the gaming
and the historically accurate. This is why Blitz got to go banana's
with their camos cause there was still a place in World of Tanks
that was 100% appealing to historically accurate(with in reason)
audience. Custom Camo, Some of the Mods that have been
integrated into the game. I.E. : alternate Arty view, and range
indicators for example. You can see a trend with the introduction
of custom camo and a new game engine that more is possible to do
with World of Tanks. Please buy a Chrysler now cause
my fingers hurt.

Are you guys still having trouble? I know some folks were having temporary issues. Some potential solutions:
1. Make sure you're logged in. If you're not, you won't be able to see the discount. 2. Look for the item under 'specials' (also couldn't hurt to check your coupons in the top right corner, but to my knowledge it should be under specials.)
3. If it's not there after you log in, try refreshing the page. 4. If it doesn't show up after all this, please submit a ticket to our Customer Support team before the end of the sale period! If you contact them after the sale is already over, they probably won't be able to help you.

The situation is basically that Tank Rewards was handled on the
backend by the lovely Hypnotik, who has since moved on from the
company, and on the front by all-around good guy Veganzombiez, who
also chose not to make the move. We would like to continue it
but we are still establishing if we can pick up where they left
off. Also, while it's on the docket, it's a long-ass
docket. Once we have established a way forward we will let
you know, until then I'm afraid we're still definitely on
hiatus.

Xp fast if I'm progressing through a line, but other than that, I'm
all about the Crew Acceleration!

DomoSapien: Hi Folks!
For this week we're mixing it up a bit and taking a look at an upcoming map: Province!
(No music video for this one, but feel free to listen to your favorite spaghetti western soundtrack or something by Andrea Bocelli)
So, this guide may change a bit in the future for a couple reasons: it's on Common Test, so if we're still taking feedback into consideration, and neither myself nor the rest of the community really has had enough time with Province to get super-familiar with it. However that means there is plenty of time to discover all the nooks and crannies Province has to offer.
A first look at province is visually stunning: Province has received quite the facelift with its HD treatment. There are lots of cool little details to check out on the map, so hop in a Training room at some point and take your time taking a look around. There are plenty of destructible objects to plow through with your armor, so don't get distracted while you're deploying because your early-game positioning is going to be of critical imporance.
While the map size was increased it is still quite small, which will make players feel a sense of urgency to seek hard cover, as players typically have most of the map within their draw distance. Effective use of your draw, vision, and max view circles will be critical. (No visual minimap yet, check back after 1.0.1 releases!)
A quick note: Some of these images are rather large, If anything looks wonky, try zooming out! (ctrl+scroll down)
Southwest spawn, Field Push If you spawn in the Southwest, you can either push up North and brawl it out in the Northwest corner/Western city, or push down into the field for scouting, ultimately climbing up the eastern road on the opposite end of the valley.
Take note of all the enemy sniping locations within your draw distance. This is something to be aware of virtually at all times on Province. If you play out in the open, you're gonna get hit.
At the bottom of the
valley, you have a little bit of hard cover and a whole lot of
foliage to play with. Might be possible for some passive scouting,
but the utility of sticking around down here is questionable.
Arguably, pushing up the road might be your best bet, as your
ascent will be dangerous should the East-spawning team get
set-up.
Watch for potential incoming
fire from across the field, as well as up the cliffs in the North
overlooking the road. You don't want to get caught up here, but
know that you have foliage and hard cover to help guard most of
your ascent.
Once you get up to the Southwest
corner, be aware of potential enemy crossfire as well as
potentially hidden vehicles on the defilade in front. There are
quite a few cover locations offering ample opportunity for sniping
and sidescraping. If you're going to push, try to coordinate with
your team; taking your sweet time on this corner might expose you
to substantial covering fire from TD's sniping in the mid-to-back
line.
Eastern BrawlBoth teams
have quite a few different firing lanes and alleyways to split push
and sidescrape in the town on the Eastern side, South of the
Church. 

Northeast Sniping The
church as well as the area directly to its North offers some
sniping opportunities behind a substantial amount of hard cover as
well as foliage. Take note of the potential firing angles when
romping around the Church; while smashing through columns and
shooting defenseless statues may be amusing, keep in mind that
you'll be quite vulnerable from certain angles if you're
spotted.

Northeast Spawn Field
Push Similar to the South, think twice about dawdling in the
valley, and consider making your way up the hill quickly before
enemy TD's can get set up behind cover.
There are quite a few firing
lanes in the West as well for both teams. Take some time to explore
all the possible avenues of approach; some effective split-pushing
might prove for some truly exciting city brawls.

West Brawling (South Spawn) Defending in the West also lends itself to some sidescraping opportunities however there are some stretches of open field towards the North which may prove risky to cross if the enemy team pushes close enough to spot you before you cross over.

Arguably, pushing up the road might be your best bet, as your
ascent will be dangerous should the East-spawning team get
set-up.
Watch for potential incoming
fire from across the field, as well as up the cliffs in the North
overlooking the road. You don't want to get caught up here, but
know that you have foliage and hard cover to help guard most of
your ascent.
Once you get up to the Southwest
corner, be aware of potential enemy crossfire as well as
potentially hidden vehicles on the defilade in front. There are
quite a few cover locations offering ample opportunity for sniping
and sidescraping. If you're going to push, try to coordinate with
your team; taking your sweet time on this corner might expose you
to substantial covering fire from TD's sniping in the mid-to-back
line.
Eastern BrawlBoth teams
have quite a few different firing lanes and alleyways to split push
and sidescrape in the town on the Eastern side, South of the
Church. 

Northeast Sniping The
church as well as the area directly to its North offers some
sniping opportunities behind a substantial amount of hard cover as
well as foliage. Take note of the potential firing angles when
romping around the Church; while smashing through columns and
shooting defenseless statues may be amusing, keep in mind that
you'll be quite vulnerable from certain angles if you're
spotted.
Northeast Spawn Field
Push Similar to the South, think twice about dawdling in the
valley, and consider making your way up the hill quickly before
enemy TD's can get set up behind cover.
There are quite a few firing
lanes in the West as well for both teams. Take some time to explore
all the possible avenues of approach; some effective split-pushing
might prove for some truly exciting city brawls.

West Brawling (South Spawn) Defending in the West also lends itself to some sidescraping opportunities however there are some stretches of open field towards the North which may prove risky to cross if the enemy team pushes close enough to spot you before you cross over.

considered. The game revolves around how the MM works and any
changes to it affect who is in the game, which changes team work
tactics. There is no tank that can take shots from
every angle and working as a team to take down 1 or two high tier
tanks is a lot better than a platoon of 5 that could happen with
the old MM. The +2-2 is in the game for a reason, yes it sucks
being bottom tier. I personally like the changes to
the new maps. I like the changes more when a new spot to hide
behind is created, and less when I get spotted immediately.
