Subject: Changes to Vehicles With Preferential Matchmaking + Notes on Trade-in

EmpressNero, on May 22 2018 - 02:50, said: No, it didn't. The article just mentioned that
Wargaming wants to take the KV-5 and make it somewhat competitive
in Tier 10 matches. Which would indicate that it no longer
receives preferential matchmaking. Which, along with the rest
of the article complaining about preferential tanks and how they
screw with the matchmaker, indicates to me that Wargaming wants to
get rid of preferential matchmaking. Either way, you missed
the point of my post.

grief, talk about a company with a complete lack of forethought, or
even a short-term plan. talk about shooting yourself in the
sack, this is the perfect example of that proverbial AD. How
did it go from rare tank, to cause of MM being broken?
ya, I am not believing it. WG is just making up crap as
an excuse for their jacked up failure of a MM model.
And, like that need for a cash-cow in December, they will
hope everyone forgets about it soon. T-22 med mean
anything WG? One thing we can say, without doubt, the player
base seems to remember each time you shaft us. Go find the
developer that came up with this genius idea, and fire him, after
all, that community college degree in janitorial services could be
put to better use than it is at WG

has changed several times since the beta as has the game. Changes
are also coming to Premium Ammo. Getting rid of Pref MM is still
speculation at this point.

players account and not purchased as gifts.

list of the future tanks that are going to be traded or buffed? Sad
to say I got rid of my Tier 8 German Tiger 2, Tier 8 Mutz
German med tank, and the Tier 8 U.S. Patriot tank, and
the Tier 5 T14 U.S. Heavy tank. German tanks got the shaft in
this game for the most part. You need to address that also, and not
going to buy the Tiger 2 back. I suppose I could trade in my Mutz ,
and the Patriot, and the T14 tank later, if I get an option to
do it. I don't like the gold charge. I would like to at least see
an option to maybe cash in the 2 or 3 vehicles I do have for one
prem tank I might like to try. I would trade in my Patriot Heavy
Tank, T14 and my Mutz for something else. I would be willing to
trade in those 3 tanks for at least one tank I could have fun with.

serious amount of cash on the older Premium MM tanks over the past
many years. We understood that if we bought New Premium tanks
after the rebalancing math, we would Not get the same benefits as
our older existing Premium MM tanks. And yes we did buy some
of these newer tanks and were fully informed when doing so.
If WoT decides to change the equation on these older tanks than it
ought to offer real money compensation to refund us the real money
we gave them. Yes, this could end up being a lot of money if
all of us start trading in our older tanks in bulk. Does this
make WoT nervous? I would think absolutely. Thus, WoT
will need to figure a way to leave our older Premium MM tanks alone
with the same characteristics and MM we have always loved and enjoy
while allowing them to participate in upgraded WoT releases.
Will this be tough for WoT to do? Yes, but if they want our
money which pays their salaries and profit to their owners, they
better do so and will have to work harder. Reality ... its a
tough one WoT

been "we don't touch premium tanks because people paid real money
for them". As I recall, that was one of the main
"commandments" coming out of Closed Beta. Hell, I remember
how much freaking out Wargaming was doing when they remodeled the
Super Pershing into HD because the SD model had incorrect angles or
some such and the HD model would have less protection. As I
recall, Wargaming was giving out refunds for the Super Pershing
like candy because the tank they had sold people was changing in a
negative way. And now all the sudden you're dropping a
couple large bombshells on the community by suddenly announcing
"hope you don't enjoy your preferential matchmaking, because it's
going bye-bye. And if you don't like it, give us money and
we'll give you another tank instead." For many people, that's
a large negative change in the tank they bought with real
money. I'm just saying that maaaaybe Wargaming should have
clarified their position regarding premiums and their balancing a
few months before dropping the preferential bomb.

KRZYB00P: As Cabbage said. We are looking into this still as this
announcement brings up more questions than answers. Changes
to Tanks are always a possibility due to nature of the game. This
is a living, breathing, evolving game, just like when your favorite
football team trades away a random player. ( I don't sports very
well.) The changes are meant to improve the MM and as the article
states, " These changes are going to be heavily monitored." In my
short time here I noted that Tier 8 is a very sensitive topic, both
in MM and any changes. With the challenge of making as many players
happy as possible, leaving it alone is not an option in my honest
opinion. With so little information please remain a
little hopeful and like 2% optimistic.

As intenções aqui eram

Jambijon: Hello Tankers! We are going to do something a little different
for today's Map Monday! With Frontline in full effect why
don't we showcase some of the awesome guides fellow tankers created
for the Frontline Guide Contest? It's astounding
to see the amount attention to detail some of these guides provide,
so I'll do my best to compile them but I highly recommend checking
out the full versions if you're looking to improve your Frontline
game. Player Guides: JBomb001timelaborsahmlockhartBlackFiveRealign Map Overview: As most
of you know, this map is freaking massive since it has to house
30v30 battles. For this reason, the map is separated into 9x9
sectors and if you are just starting it can definitely be a little
daunting when spawning on a new sector, so having simple map guide
like the one below is extremely helpful. Courtesy of JBomb001
for the tactic maps and timelabor map descriptions Sector
A Zone A specifics:
Ridge line in the East – good to support the capture effort
with TD fire – nice flank shots on defenders and attackers alike.
You will likely encounter enemies here as well. As the
attacker, work to control ridge first. As the defender – die while
focus firing on any enemy tanks on the cap. A-B transfer –
situational Primarily useful for the attacker, but if the defense
in “A” is going well – the defending team can slip into “B” and
create some flanking havoc. Defender – you must push the cap area
and work the ridge. “A” has been one of the hardest zones to
defend.
Sector B
Zone B Specifics:Defender
need to get into flanking positions that can shoot early cappers
Attackers not on cap focus fire on enemy tanks that can hit the cap
Expect fire fights in the center and eastern flank Attackers may
want to slide of the East ridge on Zone “A” and overload that map
making capture easier.
Sector C
Zone C Specifics:Attacker needs to
contest the Western “tower” area – Defenders really want this –
from there they can deny most capture efforts in this zone.
So, both sides really need to fight for this area. In a
similar manner the East will provide some cap flanking
opportunities – not as critical as the West tower. Attackers
– if not fast enough – will catch flank fire from the east as they
approach the cap.
Sector D
Zone D specifics – Play/experience
so observations are limited:Attacker – reorganize and, as always,
press the cap ASAP The East & West edges both offer a number of
sniper locations for the Defender – attacker needs to contest these
locations to disrupt that flank fire Transfer to “E” is more useful
for the attacker SPG location allows for cross zone fire Attacker
can go wide in the west and flank the defender – defender, key an
eye on that.
Sector E
Zone E
specifics:Defender needs to be aware of Western D→E crossovers
clashes can occur anywhere along that mountain pass Eastern Ridges
– a fight will develop for control of these houses and sniper
zones. Neither side can afford to ignore it. Eastern ridge –
given the opportunity, the attacker can push right through here
unspotted and be prepared to cross into the Objective Zone ASAP.
Defenders – be aware Defender can cross in the North to from
zone “D” – this can flank fire into the advancing enemy after
taking zone “E”.
Sector F Zone
F specifics: Regarded as one of the more difficult zones to
capture – defenders can get a lot of angles on the cap and have
covered positions from which to shoot incoming attackers. Attackers
taking the longer approach down the narrow western trail can break
the defense on that flank and make capping much easier – but it is
a long drive. Defensive sniper nests typically form under cover
directly north of cap and on the eastern ridge. Attacker should
contest the eastern ridge by assault and clear it.
Objectives:
The objectives cannot be repaired
once damaged. Given enough time the attacker will always
destroy them. How much is enough? Depends on the
attacker, but as little as four minutes usually means an attacker
win. Flank fire on the objectives will generally pen… so
there’s no need to maneuver all the way to the rear of the turrets.
Anything that does NOT pen will not be of use. Attacking SPG
at this point can only interfere with defending tanks (well unless
you move all the way to the rear of the Objective) so don’t even
bother to shoot Objectives with SPG. Defending SPG as
useful (or useless, depending on your opinion) as ever and maybe
more so. Why? At this stage attackers will press on despite
damage. Therefore, many are more likely to be one shot kills and
the stun slows their rate of reload. Again, I’ve frequently
had multiple kills in the last couple minutes of FL using
artillery, small damage but crucial impact on preventing an
objective or two from being destroyed. Essentially these are
all attacked with the same approach. Gang up, focus fire,
bring one down before you jump another. Look at disposition
of defenders (TAB key) and go where they are not!
Defenders, don’t try and hold them all – and Kills on
attackers are critical – you need to send them away to re-spawn,
focus fire! If you die trying it’s not too bad as you respawn
closer to the action than the attacker.

Changes to Vehicles With Preferential Matchmaking + Notes on Trade-in

Subject: Changes to Vehicles With Preferential Matchmaking + Notes on Trade-in

Perfecting Preferential Premiums We don’t want to turn an assault tank into an ambush vehicle. We want to preserve or even emphasize their distinct features. At the same time, we plan to give players the opportunity to decide whether an updated tank is relevant for them. Accordingly, every tanker can exchange a particular machine through the special trade-in option for an exclusive list of tanks not available in the common trade-in (don't worry, tanks available in the common trade in are also included). The cost of this kind of exchange will not exceed 2,000 Gold. Thus, each owner of a preferential Premium will have two options: - Keep their machine after its specs have been improved - Exchange it for another, more suitable vehicle, with a small surcharge in Gold

CabbageMechanic: Your reactions to this news have largely been negative and I
completely understand - something you purchased is being changed
and you are being told your primary alternative if you don't like
it is to spend more gold. Intentions here were noble - the
gold value of the KV-5 is only 7,500, so a full gold refund would
actually leave you 4,500 Gold short of even being able to purchase
a tech tree Tier 8 Premium like the T34 (12,000) , or 5,000 short
of the Löwe (12,500). The idea was that players would have
the option of a scale of vehicles to choose to swap for directly,
all of which would be of significantly greater gold value than a
refund. This was not presented well, and we hear and have
shared your feedback on this announcement immediately. We
will be reviewing this plan with the global team and will share
updates with you on any changes when they are ready.
Our primary goal here is to solve the problems in Matchmaking currently being caused by vehicles with preferential mm by re-working them in a manner that maintains their unique characteristics but balances them for normal matchmaking appropriately. Ideally we can do so in a way that leaves all current owners satisfied with their performance, but we did want to assure people there would be other options if they are not. In the meantime, please check out the changes to the KV-5 listed in the article above and let us know what you think. These are early yet, and will go through several rounds of testing and data/feedback review before being considered for the live server.
Thank you for your feedback and have a great day on the battlefield,

Gnomon: Hey, everyone!
Hope that you're having a great Monday! Now that the Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC has been out for a short time, we'd like to gather your feedback on it. In the past, this tank was driven by Australian tank units in Vietnam. The Centurion Mk. RAAC (or the Australian Centurion) variant has improved frontal armor, good gun depression, and a more powerful engine than the normal Centurion Mk. 5. If you'd like to brush up on the tank's stats, check out its Tankopedia page. Please let us know any suggestions, comments, or feedback you have for the tank. Thanks for all the help, and hopefully I'll see you out in Frontline!

MA77: Saudações! Continuamos com nossos concursos de criação de
guias!
Panther e o Jagdpanther. Como no concurso anterior, você
pode criar guias escritos e em vídeo. Lembre-se de que esses guias
devem conter as seguintes informações a serem consideradas no
concurso (independentemente do tipo): Nome, nação, tipo e
nível do veículo. Especificações gerais e pontuais do veículo.
SOMENTE PARA GUIAS DE VÍDEO: As

as I wanted. I tried playing light tanks once. I didnt do great and
went back to meds and heavies. I also noticed light seems to
be less played class in the mode. Its strange since map is big and
require mobility and view range. So before I go try scouting
again. What are your advice? What battle consumable are you using?
Any OP bush? Active or passive? Do you have any cool video?

for capping so I rush the closest cap and then rush the next
one. Great way to easily rush up in rank. I use
engineers, arty strike, and the one that gives you the extra crew
skill.
Be super aggressive because you can always repair, with your added speed it is really rather reasonable to go back and I only have to wait less than 2 minutes for the repair circle to replenish for me with maxed out engineer bonus.
