churchill50: There's been some confusion on that OP. A while back, the Black Market article on the Support page:https://na.wargaming.../article/33108/ Was edited to include Bonds in the list of currencies you could use in the Black Market. Then, around the time the Under the Hammer event started, the Black Market article disappeared.About a week later, it was reposted (still with Bonds included), and it's remained up until now. So... going by the fact that it's still there, it's quite possible that we'll also get a Black Market this year. Going by the fact that it was taken down for a bit and then put back up, it's quite possible even WG doesn't know whether there will be a Black Market this year or not.

churchill50:  Honestly, I'm not sure...Most of the line has good turret armor, but pretty big cupolas so they're not impenetrable hulldown monsters. The tier 10 gets rid of the cupola.https://thedailyboun...can-heavy-tank/Pretty strong turret armor, although there are rumors that the turret supports are only ~260 effective and are damageable.Mobility is mediocre. 40kmh top speed and 18 power/weight ratio.Guns are interesting. You either get a gun with 360 alpha and ~3,500 DPM (with Rammer, Food, BIA), 268/315 pen on APCR/HEAT, and decent accuracy.Or a 440 alpha gun that maxes out around 3,200 DPM (close to the 430U alpha/DPM mix), 252/300 pen on AP/HEAT, and worse accuracy. It'll be another hulldown monster unless those turret supports are pennable. But other than that it's just okay. 

churchill50:  I believe it's the same as the M-IV-Y premium tank from the lootboxes. I.e. Commander (also Radio Operator), Gunner, Driver, Loader. The supertest stats which list the crew, although not who is the Radio Operator:https://thedailyboun...can-heavy-tank/I'm assuming the Commander is the Radio Operator since that's what it is on the M-IV-Y, but I'm not completely sure.

KRZYBooP:  As already suggested, you do need to make sure that you have an NA instance of the client installed on your PC in order to use a different email. Since you can log into the forums you should have access to the email and can contact support HERE.

churchill50: I'd suggest saving your bonds for now, for two reasons:First off, we don't know what will be offered in the Black Market, so it's worth saving them to make sure.Second, if you grind in the next season of Ranked, you can get a further discount on it (they'll stack with the discounts you have right now), so you can buy it then for cheaper. It's definitely a tank that's worth getting. But I think waiting for now is the better option.

churchill50: I'm not sure I would call the Obj 268v4 non-meta in Ranked at this point. People are just sleeping on it. It was one of my most consistent tanks by far. I also had some good success in the Progetto 65 and Rinoceronte, as well as a few solid games in the T110E4 (penning hulldown S Conq's, Kran's, and Vz's is nice).

TeriyakiTanker: The obvious answer to this problem is that after 2 years a CW reward tank goes into the bond shop.  That way the people who earned it get to use it for two years before anyone else and eventually everyone else gets a crack at getting it too.  

Jaguarz:  NOW it is, back in the day 10 kills and 1460 base was a 1st, I aced it for 1290 yesterday.

Draschel: I have these turned off. They are generally toxic. Don't like the time change either. But as said, it isn't necessarily about the win. And here is proof of it. Dirt exp. Its about whats done for the win. A win can be spoon fed by the team......but unless you run into a disconnected and/or AFK tank, you have to earn results yourself. Nothing is fed to you. Results trump wins. 

Draschel:  You are right, the power increase is major, from tier 7->8, and not so large from 6->7.  But nevertheless, wow.  45TP is one of the better tier 7 man. 45TP is much better than 40TP. I thought you would actually complain of a real problem tier 7, like something really terrible. Think Setter, Black Prince, Chi Ri, mle AC46. Those are the big stinkers

Draschel: In what context? Advances? Clan Wars or Ranked? If not, and say conventionally, such as random battle, sure. Its been explained many times so far - the tank sees more versatility than tanks like STB1, AMX30, Leopard because it is slightly hardened. While not the case against tier 9-10, against tier 8s Action X can be quite a bully. While STB1 certainly has more turret armor, Action X spreads it around the vehicle allowing the armor more use when NOT hull down, as well as being able to resist HE splash damage from artillery better. For example, hulls of STB1 and AMX30 and Leopard, are very vulnerable to even EBR 75 shooting base APCR. or IS3 / defender over match through the side even finer than 70 degrees. The hull of Action X, won't be - It has very good gun depression and VR, decent enough gun handling, decent enough alpha damage, decent enough camo, decent enough mobility. While not an STB1 ridge warrior, in tier 8-10 battles as a top tier, it certainly is dangerous.   Again, it depends the context in what you want it appearing in. CW? Not a chance. But random battle, its fine. 

Draschel: FV  A45 and black prince and Achilles do not need penetration buffs. Their penetration is 239. That is more than enough. What black prince sorely needs is DPM and alpha. While pen and accuracy is there, 1877 base DPM is NOT RIGHT for a tank hitting for 150. Especially considering Churchill VlI in tier 6 has 150 more DPM with same basic gun. 17pdr guns need to be separated into 2 groups. Early 17 pdr, like the ones on Achilles, Archer, Firefly can stay 150/150/190 damage with 171/239 pen. But later model 17 pdr guns like on Challenger, Centurion, A45 and Black Prince get new improvements  to  180/180/220. AP like Senlac. The pen bumped up to 175/241.  While your camo and speed increase with stock turret on SPIC, your DPM and spotting range and HP, and turret module health drastically decrease. Why would you trade these for 1.5% base camo? That is not worth it at all.43.7% camo setup when pretty much maxed for tier VII tank won't help when the top turret gives your 41% with the same setup. That is not even 10%But you fain 70 vehicle HP, you gain DPM, you gain 20m VR, your turret gains so much more module HP too

Draschel: The earliest examples of stun, are Bison and stock gun on Grille and SU5. They have 150mm howitzer, but it is hard to use them because of short range. The only artillery gun with less than 150mm yet still has  stun capability, is Crusader SPG, which has 139mm  (5.5in QF) gun that can stun. All other artillery cannons need 150mm bore size for their stuns. When using artillery, stun is only delivered with primary HE that deals the high radius effect. Alternate HE rounds, with more pen and flatter flight, will not stun but cause more damage and have more penetration. The earliest practical artillery cannons for stun include top gun on Grille, SU122A, M41. I think Tier 6 is even better, as SU8 , AMXF3, M44 are nice for their tier.  

Draschel:  very unusual how wargaming took away both IS4 and E100 accuracy with their gunsbut equally unusual;  they left the tier 9 STI and E75 with more accuracy, with the same guns

Draschel: are you using a gun that stuns?  ......lol Why won't my computer turn on???? Sir, are the cables and power supply plugged into electrical outlets? 

Draschel: Even a simple, easily obtainable BIA, ventilation/rotation mech/gun rammer setup in bonus slots with rations yields 447m VR. Anyone can do this.If you have powerful enough commander, adding situational awareness and recon can further 21m sight. So if you are paranoid about fire, you can put back auto fire ext and drop rations, still healthy 455m VR. 410 base sight allows for such casual, public battle setups that are still useful. But considering 121B and M60 have been provided 420, I don't see a problem giving it to Action X either. 

Draschel: Centurion AX in public battle, is actually somewhat powerful. While it does not have camo, DPM, turret armor of AMX30, STB1-> it does have better more forgiving hull armor and can trade better than STB1. And comparing it to similar gun depression generalist like M48A Patton, it again does not have the turret armor or DPM, but does have better camo for moving around. It again does not have UDES turret armor and camo, or the alpha - but at least brings to the table 330 HEAT pen.  With all these in mind, Centurion can't be considered bad. But it can't be considered good, condemned to mediocrity. And useless in clan wars and ranked, where too much of the game is based on having highly coveted extremes.  However, in +2/-2MM Centurion performs well. It can be more aggressive than tanks like AMX30, M60, STB1 (flat ground) and Leopard, while still serving in sniper roles. It has acceptable camo levels. And nice gun depression, alpha to bully tier 8s. 410m VR, compared to 390 and 400 of many other tier X also allow for the easier obtaining of 445m max. Allowing better gun handling setups using ventilation and rotation mech, instead of optics.  By the way, another great buff I'd recommend would be 420m base VR. This adds to Action Xs support repertoire.

Draschel: But anyway, I digress. Shishx is the best Cent A X guy. He doesn't release new content, but you can youtube it still. He goes around playing Centurion AX even in clan wars. He's FAME. He is worth the watch, funny stuff. He does alot of hilarious sound-board stuff as he plays. Not sure if he has it 3-marked.  At any rate, I am not into the humungous 1-time buffing of tanks. Like what they did to ISU130, KV4 kreslavsky? That is too much, at once. Things need to be balanced over time with minor tweaking, not a dump of buff all at once. By giving Cent AX 133mm UFP, which it basically already has but needs to be spread across the entire UFP, by giving it 120 pen HE the panzer wagon has, with the caernarvon AX turret ear flaps its deserved since the beginning because its the same turret.......? These are minor changes. Lets see if pop server usage increases, and effective performance increases. If not then they can consider another round of British ale. Like what they have done with 59-patton. or 121. Or STA2.  

Draschel: take a nice look at super conquer. What made it immediately so popular, when was the line re-made. 2017? Well, definitely the spaced UFP basically a HEAT shield, the turret spaced armor panels, the better center layout turret not  rear mount. But other than that.....the flexibility increased huge. 101 side armor doubled from FV215B. 101 LFP, also 33% more armor increase. Why are Concept, Chieftain so popular too, in comparison to Super conquer and Conquer? And AE Phase compared to Conquer and M103? Its not just the speed, but because they are more flexible. Heavy tanks need side armor. They need SOME level of LFP protection to remove fodder penetrations otherwise avoided by SOME level of protection. And although not the best at the job, SOME level of armor protection allows for meaningful side scraping. While the old tech tree tanks, just miserably fail at it. WG needs to through this 2013 thinking and armor models into the trash, and reasonabily update the American, French, British lines.  This is also effectively even worse a situation, because WG is taking the opposite road, AND BUFFING CHINESE, SOVIET TANKS more with generally British and American features. Such as gun depression and view range. Why give tanks like 274A view range, when it should be like T44100, LT432, T54 mod 1. Why give WZ1111111115A, 113, object 140, IS5 gun depression? If this trend continues, they are going to give 260, 279E, IS7, 705A gun depression too. And American and British tanks won't have anything at all. 

Draschel: Seriously, more and more British tanks are breaking the old '-trend-' of copy paste 76mm LFP and 51mm side armor. Take a look at Concept, Charlemagne, Caliban, Chimera, Super conquer, Badger, Chieftain. And while yes, many are premiums, it doesn't make the case and point any different. A heavy tank really should not be like FV215B and have ridiculous low LFP and side armor, especially since listed 215B sides are supposed to be 102mm. These old school British tanks are easily penetrated by tier 6 nevermind tier 8.  The same goes for American heavy tanks. Take a look at side armor profile of T110E5, 110E4, M103.  And take a look at the far more comfortable, forgiving and newer profile of AE Phase. Look at Somua, and look at AMX49,51,54. WG needs to bury this nonsense, of only giving Chinese, Russian, or super heavy tanks reasonable side armor - or take it away from Russian, Chinese tanks and ONLY HAVE IT with super heavy tanks. 

Draschel: well that depends. if Shishx is the driver, then yes. It is fineBut generally, it certainly is not fine. It is certainly in need of buffs.    Give it 14mm ear flaps of Caernarvon AX, its the same turret.    Increase entire UFP to 133mm, not just the center spot    Increase the HESH pen to 120mm like panzer wagon

Rofl 703 ii, 252U, Caernarvon AX, Renegade, Skoda 56, Somua, Kreslavskyplease don't make me laugh I don't even think Bisonte is better than tech tree heavy tanks like IS3 or 53TP i have not set one outrageous paramter.  You are outrageous. 

Draschel: Assistance values? Because I see the Skoda is doing better anyway. Unless you spot a tonne more on Bisonte Again, we are proving exactly what I have been saying past two pages here.
