You're not blind ;) it's actually Ogden, Utah. I'll get that fixed.

I need to be in LA to help with my best friend and a family emergency that has come up for her. I mention this because I am on your list for a wristband and thought you could give it to someone else that will be attending. Maybe next time :(

Agrona: Sorry to hear it! Thank you for the heads up, I will get the wristband to SilentDemise.
Hopefully you can make it to the next one!

dance210: Did you do your x2 last night after the reset, but before the weekend event started? Any tanks that had a x2 when the special began this morning should now show a x5. Otherwise, you will need to wait until it resets tonight.
Did that help any?

Link on message: #3800858

Gaea: Hey guys,
I need a complete list of all the clans that were affected by the battles popping early and the loss of a province. I need this as I am doing a post-mortem of the situation and need as many details as possible to send to my management, and need to see how widespread the issue really was.
I'm not here to discuss compensation or a remedy, so please understand that I am currently not in a position to be able to give you more details about this.
Thanks for your help - this list is quite important for me to have as soon as possible.

Gaea: Guys, I know this issue is painful, and I understand where you're coming from. Unfortunately, there will be no roll back for the provinces. This event has definitely taught us a lot about the capabilities and limitations of Clan Wars, and has prepared well for all future events we do. We've learned a lot, we've suffered a lot, as you all have also, but, this experience has been quite eye opening and fruitful is showing us what we currently can and can't do with Clan Wars.
Our next steps are to not cancel this event. We will be continuing with Stage 3, and then Clan Wars will be back to its normal rules and mechanics (all tier X). After this, we will take a step back and look at our overall procedures, what went well and what went wrong, and start from there.

* My understanding is that platoons can create some aberrations in the matchmaking.

I understand that many of you are unhappy with the clan wars time zones. We can work on finding the solution through coherent discussion.
It will happen, problems can be solved.

Mugsy_: It sounds like there are two issues emerging which I hope to briefly address.

1. During the latest round of Clan Wars errors, some clans lost provinces or opportunities due to circumstances which were not their fault. It was a result of poor planning and execution on our part. You haven't had an official response from us yet because we are still getting approval on a course of action. As you can imagine, our first priority was to get Clan Wars running again successfully, we know that some clans were adversely affected and we will be taking steps to right those wrongs.
I know that the absence of immediate information and corrective measures are frustrating, insulting, and damage our relationship with our community. I will do everything in my power to correct these situations.
I genuinely appreciate any remaining patience you can muster. If you are a member of one of those clans, such as SIMP, please contact me directly and we can work to mend damages inflicted.

2. Younger clans and elder clans are at odds because they have very different needs and interests. Elder clans don't believe that they are given proper recognition for their abilities, skill, time invested, accomplishments and level or organization. Young clans feel like they are working against an established syndicate to get a foothold into the only relevant game content available for clans to strive towards.
The solution is coming. When we implement mid-game content, additional clan support, and implement some future clan wars changes you won't have these two very different groups trying to eat from the same bowl.

The last thing I have to say in this thread is that having legitimate points of frustration or disappointment does not give the community permission to post profane, belligerent, vitriol. If you want to express you point and be heard not just by your fellow community members but also by staff, my suggestion is the creation of threads which are articulate, mature, and in compliance with our forum policies and guidelines. Most outrage threads get closed because people cannot manage their emotions and say awful, psychotic things. Keep your cool, make your point. Then we can have a dialog. Scream threats, racial slurs, profanity or whatever and I won't even have a chance to speak with you before your thread gets tossed in the dumpster. I know managing anger or frustration is tricky, but the burden is on the authors of posts to stay calm and diplomatic - then you can demand a response which you deserve in the first place.

Mugsy_: To clarify the clan wars point, a player was angry that clans that do not have as many Tier 10 tanks are not as able to participate in clan wars outside of this event.
Clan Wars is designed to be end game content, however, we can also try to do new cool things and for a window of time open it up to new people. It will be returning to higher tier play soon enough.
Please don't continue reporting the OP. It is fine.
