That post in the CoAF that I was referring to has 1 viewpoint which is based in ignorance. There are more legitimate threads with much more intelligent discussion(Japanese thread in Armored Vehicle Comparision and nearly every post by FaustainQ is a goldmine)
That poster then responded to my thread(Check it out _Mugsy), which some of the more respectable posters(across 3 servers) in the forum dissected his ideas apart.
Sorry if I offended you, it wasn't intentional you just seem to be overextended and too nice.

Mugsy_: Frankly, yea, some ideas are terrible. I have heard some real turds in my short time. But I try to help them flesh out and troubleshoot their own ideas with well placed questions. Some subjects are outside of my knowledge base and I rely on the next tier of experts to filter them out. I am learning so much about tanks and military vehicles, but many of our players, such as yourself, know far more than me. So I don't assume anything.
No offense taken at all. I am often both those things. I will check your thread out.

I collect ideas and suggestions and input and float it upwards to the filtration system of HQ. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to shoot down anyone's ideas, suggestions, or input. That really isn't my place. At the same time, I am very conscious about what I give public support or approval to and how I word things.

Mugsy_: I am definitely spread thin at the moment, but reinforcements are coming. That Q+A thread is shelved for the time being. For various internal reasons it just wasn't working. A more productive alternative is being worked on.
Not to be redundant, but in regards to entertaining dumb ideas, I believe inspiration or genius can be hidden anyway. Someone suggests something and maybe it starts a conversation or an argument between staff and from that a kernel of insight may be revealed. Myself, our company, and our game are only made better by me reading what everyone has to say, is experiencing or wants to see implemented. There is no harm in it.
Anywho, I was kited here during a routine Mugsy_ signal check. I am off to other threads. If anyone needs anything or would an ear I am available.

I understand that there is a lobby group that have strong feelings about artillery and our game. Your feedback has been heard, but you don't get to act out until you get what you want.
That being said, this poll is to determine how to handle arty threads. We had a substantial number of people vote and weigh in on the issue. I am going to close this thread up and we'll see what our next course of action is. Thank you everyone who gave us input on this matter.

Please keep in mind that alliances are not unfair. They are totally fair game. Perhaps the mid tier clans could organize their own alliance and give the established clans a run for their money?

Closing this thread since it is an issue which is being addressed.

Gaea,
Can you please confirm if only Europe is being assessed for time zone changes, and North America will stay as is.  Or is the whole map being looked at?  I know a lot of us had issues with the 4 time zones, and the one really really late one.  However, I don't think anyone really wanted phase 1 two hours earlier.  I think folks were looking for phase 1 at its current time, or one hour earlier, and phase 2/3 one hour later than phase one (not up to 3 hours later).

Gaea: The time zones on NA are currently 16:00 and 17:00 PST. These times zones will be changed to later times.

I mean it's the end game of WoT and you guys are still ignoring it and creating tank lines etc. Clan wars is what we strive for and WG seems to think that it isn't important enough to even get out of beta.
I mean seriously there should be an interface that allows changes of time zones on the fly. I mean I really don't understand why this is hard coded into your back-end.
It should be as simple as looking up all provinces with a time zone of XX:XX then typing in a YY:YY for those time-zone adjustments.
I can't imagine why this is so complicated.
Either way you did the right thing by freezing it instead of clans loosing random battles at 3:00 PM EST, which apparently is what would have happen. It is just time to get some properly functioning software though.

Gaea: We are definitely looking into improving the overall Clan Wars experience. But seeing that yes, we have grown quite a lot, and we are a global company, making these sort of improvements is definitely not something that we want to do hastily. Our goal is to avoid any future issues and errors in all of Clan Wars and for the game in general. This is not something that we want to do overnight.

WG, some of us have lives and have to make arrangements to play in your events, not all of us can just drop in whenever we feel like it.  When you make snap decisions to suspend clan wars and reschedule at a later date, you're really f***king some of your player base over because you can't get your acts together.  I don't like to add to the chorus of boos when things go awry, but I've had enough of this crap.

Gaea: I understand your concern, the issue was that the battles were not scheduled for the normal times that you would expect. This is why we decided to freeze the map so that there would be no unfair battles during the day today and for this evening.
