Yeah, WG want "LEVEL PLAYING FIELDS" at the start of all battles. They've put massive efforts into balancing tank types, tank weights, hp, and tiers. Yet skill is 10x more important than all those combined. Ask yourself who would win: 15 purples in tier 8 tanks or 15 tomatoes in tier 10 tanks. We all now the purples would crush the tomatoes. - -

So if it's 1 good/14 bad vs 1 good/14 bad, both good players have equal opportunity to win. Both good players have the same load to carry. Under sbmm, this would be 100% of all their battles. something most players should want. Is it perfect….
No. Is it better than what we have today.., for non
stat padders I have to assume yes. Never let the pursuit of
perfect get in the way of good enough.

idea sucks. It's also telling that you think a SBMM of any
kind if going to reduce stomps/blowouts. The story of SBMM
proponents: too ignorant to know SBMM won't fix blowouts, yet too
stupid to listen to those that do know it won't fix blowouts.

Draschel: CoV-2 isn't a hemorrhagic fever. CoV-2 is easy street compared to
that, no more really fatal than a generic influenza, an outbreak of
hemorrhagic fever can usher in 90% fatality rate. Hospitals
wouldn't be complaining about bed availability, oxygen, mask and
sanitizer shortages - there would be body bags
everywhere we'd have to incinerate. You use something like that,
lightly?

Draschel: When they do think of that, and they have already....and
decide they are willing to chance getting massively swamped
in return complaints over consumers objecting the changes to
their premium tank hard statistical nerfs - well you
get the point. Talk to me then, about it. I remember clearly, the
uproar of suka pershing, Type 59 alone. Now add every other
premium too, onto that list. By the way, HE nerf didn't even nerf
premium tanks. It nerfed *HE* not the physical tank itself.
No premium tank, actually had its HE pen, damage, velocity, Etc
changed. WG is smart, they avoid that sort
of stuff. and by the way, taking away
premium shell penetrations for full damage won't make great
players bad. And you know it. And it won't make
heavy tank players who complain about being penetrated by them all
the time good, either. It is an illusion, why hold onto
it?

Draschel: I started replacing stabilizer already for rotators.
Rotator boosts meds because of %+ bonus slot, there is
underlying value that way. Unless exceptionally bad gun handling
tanks, like a T34 heavy, batchat or T57 or old WZ120 unbuffed
that are/were ridiculous with the dispersion. Chunky meds like
E50M, Cent AX, 121 gain a sorely needed close quarters combat
mobility bonus from rotator, E50M certainly needs the turret
rotation help. Heavy tanks gain it huge too with turret traverse
rate, not leaving them so vulnerable when tracked. kranvan,
is7, WZ11111111115A, 277, 260 definitely feel like meds driving
around with their mobility, but they still keep *heavy* tank
turret rotation, which is annoying against flankers. skill4ltu
I have seen plenty of times, dropping stabilizer and
running ventilation/rotator/rammer setup. He is certainly
better than me, and it validates the choice.

your team is a green rather than a random teammate. A random
teammate could be anything, but is likely to be an orange or yellow
player, with about a 48% win rate. Also, the MM tends to match
# of platoons, so if you had not been platooned, the horrible enemy
platoon of orange 44% and 47% players likely would not have been in
the fight. Instead they would be replaced by random players, and
while no guarantee, they likely would have been better players than
what was there. So by platooning with a good player you set 1
good player on your team, and 2 really bad players on the other
team. So yes, your platoon made the match even more skewed than it
would have been. This is very easy to understand, so it
doesn't surprise me that it is beyond you...

garbage which makes people who dont have it mad as there is no
avenue to obtaining it currently. To be fair its not grossly broken
and a tweaking of its mobility to maintain its strengths but reduce
its flexibility would solve a great deal.
