I am seeing the matches
favor only those teams that do better in 3 rounds and not even in a
single game for a single grouping per day. Any team that can
do better than 39 points and keep that into all their 3 rounds do
not need to worry about other competitors fighting them if they
even get draws in all their matches the other teams get dropped
into the basement...yesss??? In a draw the 2 teams should be
able to fight a match again, deciding if one or the other might
win, this would be more fair than the current system that their
stats be frozen at the point of how well they did during a Group
Stage, all I see now is the High Tiers making monkeys out of any
new teams trying to attempt to win in the tournaments.
Another little gem about the tournaments....any tournament scored
in the current manner is that for 3 rounds if you keep up your
group score of 39 points it amounts to 117%, when you add it up on
a calculator.....MOUNT EVEREST INDEED.

the structure of our Weekday Warfare tournaments and I am having a
bit of trouble. If you can clear up my confusion, I will be more
than happy explain exactly how our system works. In general
there are two parts to Weekday Warfare: Group Stage Days 1-3 and
Group Stage 4&5. I will break down exactly how the scoring and
standings work for each day. Day 1) All Teams that have
successfully applied for the Weekday Warfare are accepted and
randomly seeded into groups. Our goal is to keep the groups as
close to 8 teams per group, but sometimes there could be as few as
6 per group. These groups are Round Robin style tournaments,
meaning all teams in the group play each other once. All
matches played are worth points. The point system is 3 for a win, 1
for a draw, and 0 for a loss. The reason we don't have drawn
matches play until there is a winner is because then games could go
on for hours with one or both teams playing for the draw. Speaking
from personal experience, that is not a fun time trying to not lose
but knowing that a draw means you get a do over. Once Day 1 is
over, all the points your team has earned is then compared to the
total amount of points you could have earned (the number
of games you played multiplied by 3.) This WIN RATIO is
compared to the teams from the other groups, establishing the
overall rankings that are posted and labeled Weekday Warfare
X Group Stage Standings: Day 1. This is why you can see
multiple teams come in at specific rank (e.g 4 teams tied for 1st.)
It is at this point that the bottom 5% of teams in the tournament
based on rank are removed from further contention. If there is a
tie for the rank that is being removed, all teams in that rank are
removed. Day 2) All remaining teams from Day 1 are randomly
seeded into new groups and Round Robin play starts again. Once this
round is over, your team's points from this round are added to the
points from the previous round. They are then compared to the total
amount of points your team could have earned (the total
number of games played over the two days and then multiplied by
3.) This WIN RATIO is compared to the teams from the
other groups, establishing the new overall rankings that are
posted labeled Weekday Warfare X Group Stage Standings:
Day 2. At this point the bottom 5% of teams who played in Day
2 based on overall Day 2 rank are removed from further
contention. If there is a tie for the rank that is being removed,
all teams in that rank are removed. Day 3) All
remaining teams from Day 2 are randomly seeded into new groups
and Round Robin play starts again. Once this round is over, your
team's points from this round are added to the points from the
previous two rounds. They are then compared to the total amount of

games played over the three days and then multiplied by

other groups, establishing the new overall rankings that are

Day 3. At this point the top 16 teams based on rank are moved on to
Group Stages 4&5 and all previous points are erased. If there
is a tie for 16th place, all teams are moved up. This does not
extend the prize pool that is based on rank. Day 4) The top
16 teams from Group Stage Days 1-3 are randomly seeded into
groups and Round Robin play starts again. Once Day 4 is over,
all the points your team has earned is then compared to the total
amount of points you could have earned (the number of
games you played multiplied by 3.) This WIN RATIO is
compared to the teams from the other group(s), establishing the
overall rankings that are posted and labeled Weekday Warfare
X Group Stage Standings: Day 4. Day 5) The
top 16 teams from Group Stage Days 1-3 are randomly seeded
into groups and Round Robin play starts again. Once this
round is over, your team's points from this round are added to the
points from the previous round. They are then compared to the total
amount of points your team could have earned (the total
number of games played over the two days and then multiplied by
3.) This WIN RATIO is compared to the teams from the

value that fans of AFV's place upon them, being what they are and
what we are. And we're just a portion of people. The fact
that they stopped building them and nobody afterwards has started
building them again also speaks to how useful they really were.

little representation about this on the screen. The tanks rear end
does not shoot up, nor does the nose go down while in a full break.
The nose only noticeably goes down when going from stationary to
reverse. The reason I bring this up is because it was
difficult to tell whether I was sliding to a stop, or sliding
because I had my tracks in reverse. A clearer sliding
mechanic for stopping is needed. The sliding to a stop breaks the
fluidity of the driving because at that instant all control is
lost. No amount of input can change where/how far/ manipulate the
forward slide when going from a full speed to a stop. Meds
feel sluggish. With the sliding tracks when accelerating, meds feel
sluggish off the line. The light tanks still feel nimble, due to a
lack of sliding off the line, but the med tanks feel similar to
heavies when trying to accelerate. This makes the meds feel
sluggish when attempting to accelerate since they burnout and it
feels like it slows them to the acceleration pace of a heavy. This
disrupts the traditional feel of the medium tanks. Medium tanks
have been known to be agile, but with the excessive amount of track
sliding that is encountered from accelerating, it feels like some
of the agility in the medium tank class was lost.
Overall I loved testing this out. The new physics add a fun,
challenging dynamic to the game that will be easy to learn, but
difficult to master. Many tanks feel really good. (aka ELC
AMX) While others do not feel quite in character. (meds) I am
excited to see what comes in the future.

subforum. You'll find that most of us don't need to google the
punitive expedition to know what it is, and the fact that some of
us are tankers and cavalrymen in real life has absolutely no
bearing on an assessment of Patton. It should be noted that
nobody is trashing Patton, the question is whether he deserves the
popular reputation he has.

Hypnotik: Great job to everyone involved in this, especially those who helped
organize it. You guys all did a great job on the event, and there
is a lot of good to show off to the other regions. Over the next
few days me and vegan will be pulling all the feedback we can on
the event, figuring out where things went right and where things
could be improved (I promise, I won't recommend Fame Points...
vegan might). There's already a
feedback thread here, so add your input - this goes to people
in the event and those who were watching it from the sidelines. To
the clan commanders - we've already sent out a brief questionnaire
to get things started, and we'll have a bit of back-and-forth as
time goes on for a future reprisal of this type of event.
Finally, congrats to the teams from the south. I guess we have new
overlords in America now, at least you guys make good food (BBQ
and Cajun/Creole sounds good to me).
