5. How about also making server/game wide stats available on the website? What are the average stats for players: with less than 100 (or 200) games, 500-100, 1000-2000, etc.? What about per tank? Or US vs EU vs Russian servers? One would think that most of those numbers could be pulled fairly dynamically from the servers (though I've seen you post those very infrequently by hand, so hopefully there's a way to automate that). I think that would give newer players a little better idea on what tech trees they may want to travel down and how long it'll take them, while also giving the experienced players a nice way to judge their own progress.
6. Can we get a report generated, either through the game or the website, that shows our "gold transaction" log? For example, I did something stupid and changed the name of one of my crewmembers without really noticing that there was a gold charge for it. After sending in a ticket, they showed me my entire gold transactino log, so it clearly is something that exists somewhere in the system. It might head off some questions in the future.

Why not, if I may ask? Most of the playerbase seems to be for it from what I've read on the forums.
On another note, why does the PK II become harder to aim with when you zoom in? The reticule goes crazy all over the place with every shot when zoomed, but when not zoomed in the targeting reticule remains perfectly still when shooting. The zoom level affecting accuracy is a bit odd.
Oh, and would you consider the following?
- Allowing chat on end-game results screen.
- Putting a space in between the player name and their clan tag that's in brackets and lowering the font of the clan tag so that it's secondary information.
- Displaying who killed you in the middle of the screen for a short time when you die, preferably with their tank symbol next to that.
- Flashing a green dot on the minimap for a few seconds at the location of a teammate's vehicle when they are destroyed.
- Adding a chat log so that you can see everything that has been said, or at least increase the time chat messages are shown for so I don't keep missing them so much. This is especially annoying with alert messages of when tanks destroy others, since it shows that for such a short amount of time.
Also, is there some special way or quick key you can press to cancel an auto aim lock? It can't hit anything once they're moving but it doesn't seem to cancel half the time I press right click again so that I can start trying to shoot them. It costs me quite a few hits sometimes.

Overlord: 1. Currently we are experimenting with the current mechanics. Future changes are possible.
2. Complete redesign is not planned. The more players, the better the system works - this is true. Not going to return quipment/crew level/modules return to the matchmaker, since they worked out bad last time.
3. Possibly, but these don't have high priority.
4. "Garage battle" is one of the few game modes that are in plans. It is not confirmed yet, and definitely won't be the first one to be added.

In the op 10 minutes before this post, you said you bought gold that took 12 hours to go through to your account.
So now, 10 minutes later you are buying more? When did you buy the other lot, 12 hours ago? or is that old news?
You are correct that before the maintenance, downtime, or whatever playspan want to call it. The payments and gold crediting were super quick. And since its been restored, yes there has been delays for some players.
When interact came back online, Some payments went through instantly, then a reasonable amount got held up for about 10 hours a transaction, then it seemed to go back to instant again.
So either it had a period where it was slower, which has seen been fixed, Or, its intermittent and is slow for some transactions and not others. And i need more current information to work out if there is a current problem with delays or not.
As for possible current delays. Ive been asked.
"Is that showing as CertaPay or DebitWay on the page?" "left upper corner"
The difference between some being instant, and some having delays, might be as per above, in how the payment is processed.
Providing that extra information will help to pinpoint problems as well.

Some feel that they are disadvantaged because they have chosen to follow a particular path of research as they felt it was the best “fit” for them out of what was available, when in fact a new path may be soon opened that would have been more preferable (e.g.researching/grinding to get a Maus, when instead they would have preferred an E100 if that option had been available). There are even some bizarre people like myself who are annoyed that their tech tree will have unresearched “holes” in it when the new trees are implemented!
While they have yet to protest, there is another group ofplayers who will ultimately be disadvantaged – those who have yet to start playing WoT, or who begin playing too late to take advantage of the tech tree changes. These players will feel that bybeing unable to “skip steps” in the tech trees as “earlier” players have, they are being forced to take longer to research and obtain the “end game” Tiers effectively required for participation in Clan Wars.
Whatever the particular reason or combination of reasons, it boils down to people having “spent” experience and credits in a manner that they may not have done if the entire tree had been available at the start. This problem is now compounded by the fact that a great many players have invested considerable time since the announcement of the new tech trees to ensure that they have the “correct tanks”in their garage to maximise the benefits of the tech tree changes.
Some people have suggested a “wipe” to force everyone to start afresh with the new tech tables. As someone who has invested an unholy amount of time and several hundred dollars into this game already, I know what the reaction would be if this occurred – a large group of players would leave in disgust!
Personally, I feel that there is a far more universally equitable solution that would resolve ALL the problems (both real and imagined) of implementing the new tech trees – by “refunding” the experience and credits spent and allowing them to be “re-spent” as desired.
This would actually be very easy to implement:Remove all crew from all tanks in the garage and place them into the barracks. This may require the barracks to be expanded to cope with the amount of crew unless the WoT application can be made to “ignore” the capacity of a barracks if the excess crew were added programmatically as part of this update.Go through the barracks and perform the following for each crew member:- For each crewmember at 100%, set the “tank competency” to being the starter tank for that nation and credit the player with 200 Gold (so that the crewmember can be returned to 100% competency in the vehicle of the player’s choice).
- For all crewmembers with 51% to 99% competency I would suggest setting the “tank competency” to being the starter tank for that nation and crediting the player with 20000 credits, plus 5 gold for every % above 75%. This will provide funds for “Regimental School” retraining to return competency back to 75% or more (which will be a bonus if the original competency was less than 75%), and a suitable “compensation” for any competency lost if they were above 75%.
Sell all non-premium tanks, equipment, ammo, etc back “at cost” (i.e. so that they can be re-purchased without a net loss in credits).Sell all premium consumables and ammo back at their “gold cost” (i.e. so that they can be re-purchased without a net loss in gold).Transfer all experience already spent back to the player as “free experience” (i.e. “unresearch” the tree and credit the XP cost).Transfer all experience accumulated but not spent on NON-ELITE vehicles in the tech tree back to the player as “free experience”.Experience currently accumulated on “Elite” status vehicles in the tech tree needs to be handled carefully, so that those who have not converted this into “Free Experience” by expenditure of gold are not “rewarded”. This is actually insanely easy to accomplish! Simply transfer all experience accumulated on Elite status vehicles to the starter tank appropriate to that nation! At best only about 600XP will be able to be utilised before that starter tank becomes Elite and renders the remainder unusable without gold conversion to Free Experience – and 600XP is an amount so small as to be inconsequential in the scheme of things.Once this is done, EVERYONE can choose how they want to invest their experience within the new tech tree structure, and EVERYONE can purchase whatever tanks they want (subject to research in the new tech tree) without either detriment or reward and move their experienced crew back to the “new” tanks with the same (or at worst case much the same) competency as before.

Tanitha: The Saving Private Ryze event was split into two timezones, The main event being in the USA timezone, but another smaller event in the Oceania timezone. There has been issues with the USA event which has caused a delay in the USA event payouts. The Oceania timezone lists that can be found here Lists are currently being paid out at about a rate of 1/3 a day over 3 days. The USA timezone event lists and payouts are still to come.

ChrisK: Yes, we built French tanks under license until we started coming up with our own. Even those first American ones (like those developed by Walter Christie) were mostly rejected (although his designs were bought by the Soviets and formed the basis of the BT series - what were we thinking?).

How do you like that Littlefield collection? Great stuff, isn't it? Got more pics?

They are then investigated and their game history monitored over a period of time.
They are permanently banned. So its not done lightly without a proper investigation.

ChrisK: Fixed that reference, thank you! In fact, he commanded the 2nd Armored Division before he commanded Third Army, but I meant to say Third Army as you suspected. One way to tell what I meant is that divisions always use ordinal numbers (101st, 82nd, etc.), while the numbers of armies are spelled out (Third Army, Seventh Army, etc.). 2. When 1/3 of your team is not random it kind of negates "random" in the "random battle"
So to reiterate - most probably no 5 men platoons until the server population grows and we have 30vs30 maps.
This has been discussed numerous times on the forum since introduction of platoons. Please use search button.
