ChrisK: Fixed that reference, thank you! In fact, he commanded the 2nd Armored Division before he commanded Third Army, but I meant to say Third Army as you suspected. One way to tell what I meant is that divisions always use ordinal numbers (101st, 82nd, etc.), while the numbers of armies are spelled out (Third Army, Seventh Army, etc.). Thanks again!
