Viper69, on 05 July 2011 - 04:17 PM, said: "Dear tank commanders, having reviewed a vast amount of statistical
data during the past week, we stumbled upon an unfair pricing of
the beloved Löwe tank. As the results of all its battles show, the
Löwe earns its proud owners more XP and more money compared to its
direct competitor, the KV-5. The statistics are most likely founded
upon the Löwe’s higher stopping power due to its greater shell
damage and penetration ratio."
Right there. So instead of puting it into a higher tier you just charge more and leave it there to destroy lower tier tanks with impunity, as long as you want to pay for it.

Vallter: In comparison with KV-5. Not IS-3, Tiger II or T32. They are much
better than Lowe

this game by using a premium account, well, you've offended me. I
cant be the only one getting tired of this game becoming 'World of
Lowes' when I see a game with 8 to 10 Lowes in it. And instead of
nerfing a tank that is admittedly earning too much xp/credits as
intended as you should to balance it accordingly, you simply sell
out, up the price, but give everyone a message saying essentially
you better get in on the unbalance now or lose out. Allowing
unbalance such as this has cost other games valuable player base,
and this game will not be immune to that either. Continuing down
this path isnt a good business plan.
I dont think you guys realize how much people are being turned off by the number of tier 8 premiums in games. It may cost you in the long run. As a 'paying customer' myself (pre-order, and via premium purchases since) I think i've spent my last coin on this particular game. Especially if your going to do stuff like this.

many users stating, that they won't buy Lowe with a new price. So
their amount will be reduced after that and not increased.

KV, a tier 5 heavy tank, at 50% repairness (during the battle it was damaged, but not destroyed) at the service screen; the repair cost is 1,813 credits. T40, a tier 4 tank destroyer (less health than other tanks and supposedly lower repair cost right? right??), at 51% repairness (again it was damaged during the battle, but not destroyed); the repair cost is 1,820 credits. Is this working as intended?

Vallter: We decided not to change in-game characteristics of Premium tanks.
They were purchased with real money and change in their
specializations won't be right from our part. If we will nerf Lowe
tank, many of our users will have different tank to one they have
purchased. If we buff KV-5, we will offend tankers, who bought
Lowe. Because probably with new characteristics they would prefer
to nuy the Soviet brother.
Change in Premium tanks characteristics is possible only on case of major issues in their battle performance. For example, we have fixed M6A2E1 hit box.

Vallter: We have a Free-to-Play game. This means, that you are not obligated
to buy it. This tank is just a helper in grinding credits (like all

reasons.
Also KV-5 price reflects it's battle characteristics and 'credit grinding' ability. Comparing with other premium tanks, the 7500 gold is appropriate cost.

Raising the price on the Lowe just seems, well, uncomfortable, especially at nearly twice the cost.

Vallter:
Unfortunately, such refund is nearly impossible due to several reasons.
Also KV-5 price reflects it's battle characteristics and 'credit grinding' ability. Comparing with other premium tanks, the 7500 gold is appropriate cost.

price for it, we will offend all of them.

that it would now be matched against tier 9 and 10 heavies and tier
9 mediums (which it cannot handle with its current armament), will
it be receiving any kind of buff in terms of its guns?
I understand that you guys are reluctant to mess with the charecteristics of the 88mm L56 gun as it would affect the balance of so many other tanks, so instead I suggest giving the 75mm conical gun a damage boost up to the normal damage of the other 75mm guns (135 average). This works well since the conical gun already has good penetration that would allow the 3601 to deal with the higher tier opponents it will face. Also, since the 3601 is the only tank in the game that uses the conical gun changing its characteristics will not affect the balance of any other tanks.
Question 2) I have an elite KV-3 with over 30,000 XP on it that I plan to eventually convert into free XP to use elsewhere. However, with the KV-3 moving up to tier 7 it will now have the KV-4 to research (which I dont have any interest in, or the rest of the tree leading to the IS-4). So, will my KV-3 retain its elite status despite having an additional thing to research or do I need to convert all the XP before the restructuring happens? I'm asking because I'm not in a good situation right now in terms of money and can't justify buying any more gold in the near future.
Also, welcome back Overlord!

Overlord: 1. There will be some re-balancing in terms of specs. Unfortunately
detailed information is not available currently.
2. Your KV-3 will retain elite status.
Thanks.

Does ammo weigh anything? Or is having full load the same as a half one vehicle performance-wise?
