I understand that you guys are reluctant to mess with the charecteristics of the 88mm L56 gun as it would affect the balance of so many other tanks, so instead I suggest giving the 75mm conical gun a damage boost up to the normal damage of the other 75mm guns (135 average). This works well since the conical gun already has good penetration that would allow the 3601 to deal with the higher tier opponents it will face. Also, since the 3601 is the only tank in the game that uses the conical gun changing its characteristics will not affect the balance of any other tanks.
Question 2) I have an elite KV-3 with over 30,000 XP on it that I plan to eventually convert into free XP to use elsewhere. However, with the KV-3 moving up to tier 7 it will now have the KV-4 to research (which I dont have any interest in, or the rest of the tree leading to the IS-4). So, will my KV-3 retain its elite status despite having an additional thing to research or do I need to convert all the XP before the restructuring happens? I'm asking because I'm not in a good situation right now in terms of money and can't justify buying any more gold in the near future.
