a question about upcoming physics if you are able/have the data to answer it:
The scenario is this: You have a tank going straight at high speeds (high 40s, to 70s) and it gets tracked on one side
on 7.x(and before) the broken track act as anchor and the tank turns violently to that side then briefly skids to a halt staying sideways(on the opposite side)
With 8.0 i'm wondering: if the tank is small and goes fast enough(t-50-2/replacement/T2lt, 13/75-90), will it begin tumbling after going sideways?(tumbling and disintegrating into pieces), just like if you put a car sideways at very high speed

dunkirk, dieppe, juno beach and the in roads from those beaches

i miss the swamp the most of all the maps removed. challenging at

better yet "assault" there of removed. map is awesome, assault of,
very much guaranteed a 95 % lose if your assaulting team;
suggestion to that as far as i'm concerned is move the cap to the
other side of the tracks and not give the advantage to the high
ground. i look forward to your responses to these questions and
suggestions

The way I see it, it's alright as long as it has 10mm more on the
turret front armor and that the 12.8cm it has right now will
receive a slight penetration buff as it is currently the poor man's
mediocre gun. Or let's just get to a better question: Do you have
any plans to buff the German heavies a little bit more now that you
have the statistics report for 7.5? (Most heavy tanks losing their
edge btw...guns to the TDs and the rest to the mediums as armor
plays a little role now)

question is if the experience required is reduced, will our skills
stay where they are at (Wasting tons of experience), or will we be
given the free crew experience, which would then be able to get
more skills, due to the decrease in required experience?

posting your feedback though, and we'll continue to review it along
with gameplay data.

to spend free experience on your crew skills. I'm hesitant to give
a conversion value, but I will say that it won't cost any
additional gold to do this.
1SupremeLord1, on Aug 11 2012 - 22:19, said: Do you guys have the power and ability to stealth nerf tanks,

something isn't mentioned in patch notes, it's not done
intentionally to spite players.

scenario would more than likely play out:
Everyone receives a free skill reset across all crew, dumping your experience into an unspent pool
You can now spend experience on the skills, and won't lose any since you've already earned it

running SPG's, as noted in the thread "SPG overhead view FPS drops, game locks
up". I was wondering if this could be addressed.
In short, when in SPG overhead view, partway through a battle the FPS drops down to about 1-2fps and eventually the game locks up. It appears to be related to having more tanks in view as I have seen it improve when a sighting tank withdrew or was destroyed and the contacts disappear. The lock up can unfreeze to low FPS and if overhead is exited the FPS will jump up some and go back to normal over 10-20s.
I have tested this without any mods and the issue still happens. This doesn't appear to be specific to my install as I have had others note the same issue.
I can't be sure (as the lockup prevents me from checking) but I think the cause is a change in the 0.7.5 client's behaviour (memory or processing or both) when handling overhead view with many tanks in view. I run on a low-end machine (32-bit Vista laptop with 4GB memory) with all settings minimized but never had an issue like this. It's much worse than any low FPS situation I encountered when running at higher settings.

1) Are you gonna add more armor to the JagdPz E-100 or reduce its reload time? Cause as it is now, anything seems to pen the front "turret" armor of it....
2) why do tanks penetrate the front of the turret on my T-62A? but when i shoot at the spots i got penetrated it bounces....
3) Are you gonna fix the problem with any of the T110's penetrating the Maus with any angle you give them?
4) Are you gonna fix the problem with arty not shooting in the aim circle (even after aiming on the spot for over 10seconds)?

Introducing tier 10 vehicles won't change something like that.

they feel comfortable with playing on a larger map.

GeneralDirection: Zero damage hits are not a bug. Regarding "shooting blanks," I
recommend enabling the server side reticle. It's usually a case of
the client thinking one thing and the server thinking another.

GeneralDirection: 1) No details yet. Still working on the buffs for 8.0
2) There are a lot of factors that come into play here, so it's really hard to say just based on the way the question is phrased
3) The license plate on the Maus is a weak spot, so I imagine that's where they pen you
4) Again, this is generally related to server reticle not matching up with client reticle.

Is well known the fact that a lot of players dont care NOTHING about the team and several times they will play bad, or perjudice the team to make em lose just for "fun". A lot of defeats are cause players just say "i wont come back to stop cap, go you", when you are in the other side of the map and they are at 100 meters. Players who dont care nothing to let die artys, artys who doesnt help the team and just wait team tanks weaks enemys to steal frags, players who are bisedes you and wait to the enemy kills you (while enemy is at one shot) and then they kill em.
If something describes WoT is the proliferation of no team play actitudes.
So, one player in my clan said you can easily do soft systems wich rewards players for team play and punish who doesnt. Kinda bonus for focus fire after one pings one enemy. Bonus for arty who shoots tracked tanks, bonus for artys who dedicate themselves to drop down the HP of high tiers instead do frag kills, bonus for scout who survives the match (to stop de suicide waste scout), bonus for help team mates who ask "help", bonus for artys who do that. Bonus for protect capers, bonus for come back to defend base.
Punishment for the top tiers who suicides in the begining, punishment for the arty who doesnt help the team firing only 3 rounds to steal tanks, punishment for the artys who kill of damage badly friendly tanks while they are killing one tank, left it in one shot and arty steal it killing you, punishment for tanks who sit in your back and dont let you move, punishment for tanks who sits beside artys saying "im afraid of the atys, they have a lot" or " i will protect artys", geting behind it and let enemy reach em or spot it, punishment for not going back to defend being near the base, punishment for let all one side in the begining leting arty die or simply the guys who say "i dont care the other flank"..., etc.
You can do that. So, is any posibility of a system similar to that or with the premise of reward and punishment for TEAM PLAY?. Any idea of it or intention to promote the work in team?.
Thanks and greetings.
WarStore, on Aug 09 2012 - 06:39, said: Skipped my question.
But anyway, here is another one:
WG released a video that supposedly teaches how to play the new tier X meds. During the E-50M part, it is mentioned the "sniper" role for this tank, and during the video the player gets sniped by at least 3 or 4 different tanks, while it hits 1 (one) round on a huge tank at 350 mts, which any tank in the game is very capable of doing the same thing.
Question is: How do the devs feel about this fail?
Giving an accurate gun to a giant makes him a sniper? Camo does not play any role at sniping?

some of those actions are extremely hard to track in a way that
would provide meaningful bonuses. So we're kind of stuck figuring
out how to quantify an assist at the moment, and how it interacts
with your compensation at the end of the match.
GeneralDirection: Well, as we've seen from data, the E-50M is doing quite well. Not
"nerf me" well, but not "buff me" bad either. I think that was just
a poor choice of gameplay clips for the video.

Edit: Perhaps the confusion was that there are two questions in my "question". The "reflected CW" has been answered in a Q and A already, when I rebumped it I didn't get it crossed out like I did with the question on the EU forum. But that wasn't the only question.
GeneralDirection: I answered it very early in the thread. We're trying to finish some
CW features for 8.0 or 8.1. As I said, it's a high priority at the
moment.

dickerAs you can see the Churchill can do the same ammount of income without much effort, Dicker Max cost double of Churchill and dont make enough credits to make this tank worth to buy.
GeneralDirection: We don't have any changes planned for the Dicker Max. It's about
where it's intended to be.

I mean, is the remainder of their HP (the HP they had before being pushed) credited towards me earning credits/XP? + statistics
So, if I push an IS-7 of a cliff with 1k health remaining, am I rewarded for that 1k dmg done?
GeneralDirection: It'll credit you similarly to setting a vehicle on fire.

decided based on gameplay. It's always possible the vehicles will
be shuffled around in the future, though.

It seems to be that some tanks have problems with their size. It's the case of the M4 Sherman, for instance (a little bit smaller than it should be).

Mugsy_: There has not been an official Wargaming announcement about this NA
event.
The North American continent map will become available for the NA server's Clan Wars. There is some discussion of this on various boards as we try to alleviate stress and panic that sparks up around rumors and misinformation, but no official announcement has been made yet. As mentioned previously in this thread, the event was delayed due to the creation of something unique and specifically for our NA server. In regards to keeping NA players excited, or any of our global players for that matter, I think the continued improvement of our matchmaking system and the coming introduction of the new rendering and physics are very exciting prospects. We have a lot positive things in development for our players, I am thrilled and optimistic.

here, if I can respond to some of your comments: I think the large
number of players that did transfer to SEA recently shows that a
LOT of AU/NZ players would prefer to be on SEA with 100-200 pings
instead of on NA with 250-400 pings, so I cannot agree that most
players here would prefer to be in the US server, since that was
the only server available for quite a while it is no wonder there
are so many AU/NZ players here, but that is not by choice for a
large number of the players, given the choice a large number all
transferred off here first opportunity they got, and there are MANY
others stating right now they want to transfer to SEA as well, I
don't see how you think most players want to be on NA given these
facts.
2. Frankly US culture is not that similar to AU/NZ culture in so many ways, I am constantly frustrated at having to deal with so many Americans on this server frankly, the USA is a very different place to Australia, the fact that we supposedly speak the same language is not a good enough reason that we should be on NA server, not when so many players on the SEA server also speak english just fine. I feel like this is the typical anti-Asia attitude that you see so often in Australia, when you make comments like we have more in common with US culture than we do with Asian culture (which itself is massively diverse given the number of different countries in Asia which technically includes India as well). If so many of us wanted to be so immersed with US culture don't you think most aussies would be in US clans, instead we all form clans based around AU/NZ players - we play on NA because historically that is where most AU/NZ players have been FORCED to play by the game companies, but ping has always been an issue and there is a noticeable difference between a 1-2 second delay and a 3-4 second delay in this game, as there is in most server side games.
3. Why not give the players the choice and reopen transfers again? The one thing you didn't answer or respond to at all was the issue of why Wargaming hasn't re-opened transfers to SEA given players want to transfer. If you geniunely believe so many AU/NZ players want to be here then reopen transfers and give the players the choice and see what happens, I will make a bet with you right now if Wargaming reopened transfers you would end up with 3/4 of the previous AU/NZ playerbase on SEA. Prove me wrong and reopen transfers and let the numbers speak for themselves. No offence Tan but what you want is not what a lot of other players want, so give us the choice to move to SEA, make the transfers only available for a fee I don't care, just reopen transfers and we will all see who wants to be where really.

Tanitha: 1. You are welcome.
I agree a lot of AUS/NZ would like lower pings and a higher ping is an disadvantage in game play.
There is just many factors to conciser apart from the ping. if all you care about is the ping (and many players do) then that makes the decision easy for you.
Personally I look at other things as well, like keeping in contact with my friends ive played with for the last 15 years.
Waking up at 3am/4am/etc and having friends/clanmates online, (Sea server drops to around 1k online at offpeak atm, NA server drops to 12k online in offpeak atm)
Point being is everyones preferance will be different.
2. Technically there is 1000 ms in a second. So the differences in pings between a 150 ping and a 250 ping is 1/10th of a second.
Its still a noticeable difference and makes a difference in game play.
3. I don't want anything, lol. I just said there are many things to conciser. And different servers will suit different players depending on what they want.
And I don't have the power to re-open transfers, I'm just an adviser with such things.
My last advise on the topic was suggesting to first finalize when and where players within the AUS/NZ timezone could play clan-wars.

Tanitha: Are you sure its a issue that they don't know?
I would guess the real issue is the disclaimer that XXXXXXXXXX bought you a gift, however if XXXXXXXXX stops payment on the gift you will then have unpaid for gifts on your account.
As such you will be sanctioned, until you pay for the gifts you have received.
In short the system is ,don't accept gifts from strangers, or gifts you aren't willing to pay for if the original purchaser stops the payment.
I would guess its not that they don't know the gift is there, it's that they don't know you well enough to accept the gift. ?
Regards
Tan.

in Minsk and about 150 staff, with one on-line game in beta, with
obviously no on-line paying customers.
From there its gone to ~1800 staff (last i heard) and offices in Minsk, NA, Paris, Korea, China, Vietnam, Germany, Singapore, London, Dev offices in Kiev and St Petersburg, now assets in Australia (Big World), and even the battleship Iowa floating around.
+ From a beta, to a release, 35 million players, with two more major titles around the corner.
Keeping up with expansion has certainly been challenging.

for a long time.
Its the 35 million online players which is a new situation, which we have fought to keep up with.
A whole NA office was put online to handle the NA playerbase for starters, which has also expanded from a few staff, to now ~60 staff, to a need to relocate to bigger offices.

There is many reasons why AUS/NZ players would want to stay on the NA server, the similar culture and language, the higher population, old friends and clans which have been developed since online gaming was introduced 15 years ago. Etc.
And only one reason why AUS/NZ players would prefer an SEA server (A Lower Ping).
But the thing that trumps all of the above reasons, is simply, where and when can you play clanwars?
I wont/cant push for transfers to reopen to the SEA server, or push for transfers back to NA to open.

I submitted another large report just this Friday for an example.
