Subject: Announcing Winter Celebration Part I

AllanR, on Dec 21 2012 - 05:05, said: Is this going to be one of those times when so much stuff comes
pouring forth that it is impossible to take advantage of them all?

GeneralDirection: We actually took this into account, which is the main reason it's
broken up into multiple parts. There's actually the New Year's Bash
which could be considered a part of it as well, but we figured the
name was fitting since it crosses over into 2013.

Kankou, on Dec 15 2012 - 03:17, said: I wish to make a simple suggestion: Allow us to select which camo
to show up when the tank is in the garage. Basically, after we buy
camo, we can choose default, winter, summer, or desert to show up
when the tank is in the garage. I think this will allow us to
customize a bit and perhaps induce people to buy camo more.

First, congrats on your first post, I hope it is one of many to come.
Secondly, I appreciate your suggestion. I totally see where you're coming from and I will add your suggestion to the ongoing dialog about how we can continue to improve the Sheriff events.
Thanks for giving us your input!

GeneralDirection: Stats aren't even final on the public test server until we release
(actually they're never truly 'final'), so I wouldn't judge
something a few updates away--no matter where you saw the stats as
they're planned now.
Two months before the M103 came out it was a completely different (and dreadfully boring) tank.

I told him all the neat things about it and that they created a physics update. It turns out, he has no computer and he asked me if it wee for Playstation too, and it hit me like a 105 HE shell......why not create this amazing game for major gaming systems?! It would be more convenietnt for players like my friend that there is so much of, AND it would be VERY VERY VERY profitable for WarGaming.net.....please give it some serious consideration and if you agree feel free to post your thoughts....game designer or hardcore gamer

GeneralDirection: It is something we've discussed in the past, and Victor Kislyi
(Wargaming's CEO) has commented on specifically. At this time we
feel that there are improvements needed to the process of releasing
game updates for consoles. Because of the World of Tanks update
release frequency, it could result in players on a console playing
a version longer than players on the PC, and that's not an
experience we feel is adequate. On the flip side, it could mean
delaying a PC update release until the update has gone through all
the checks for console release, which is also not a compromise
we're willing to accept.
