Draschel: it is not enough, unfortunately. No where near enough for any
sensible prevention. The AI has gotten smarter, have been given
more tools, but are still bots. Predictable, repetitive.A
little hurdle with the 1.12 patch, and people are back to their
antics with their lessons learned We need harder
countermeasures. Capping crew skills to max 2 skills
present tiers 1-5. Adding +3/-3 MM to queue to people playing more
than 100 battles in a single tier 1-5 tank.Longer queue waits
to ensure 15v15 battles, max 5 bots per side. Bots
getting the snapshot/auto-aim accuracy properties of that
Is2shielded battle theme, to make them more dangerous These
are quick and dirty suggestions to remove sA server
farming and low tier clubbing

Draschel: I like the changes. Think they are great for the game. and I
don't have a chieftain, 260, 279E. and none of these tanks you pay
for. You have to play for them, not pay.No more
60TP shooting someone's tracks,
properly side scraping for 300 damage. No more T92 light
tank trying to get a cap reset, and shooting is7 turret for 0
damage bounce. Consistency is key, The game is more consistent
and predictable. No more easy street no aim HE spam. No
more leaning on a crutch.

Link on message: #12858814
Engineer777, on Jun 25 2021 - 02:59, said: All SPGs were nerfed. The M44 was just nerfed extra. In the
case of stun rounds: no module damage & less damage than before
1.13 In the case of non-stun HE: massively reduced splash, no stun,
damage is less than pre-9.18 In the case of AP/HEAT: far lower
damage than pre-9.18, no stun, no splash In all cases: SPGs
cannot hide due to bright tracers; even without "sound detection",
you can here artillery nearby Yes, the SU-8 is similar to
the M44, but pre-1.13 the M44 was hands-down better due vastly
superior horizontal gun arc.
Link on message: #12858814

Draschel: spg were not nerfed. And they cannot be compared to
9.18, that time is gone and passed. They are to be compared
to 1.12I don't care about stun. And many others that care
about their personal performance, that want damage and kills don't
care of stunThey want damage and kills to get past dumb arty
missions, and never have to play them after, while not tanking
their WN8 in the processNot all people are the 48% pub you think
of, that value something useless like stun. Assistance
can be got through immobilizing anywayArty will pen more now, with
increased penetration. They will do more damage too with the higher
base damage. The splash effects are still enough,
more so than tankshells, to make near misses still
damaging - esp considering increased base No one is talking
about pre-1.13 stuff. We are in 1.13 now, and unless you have
a time machine, go figure

just move on over to sU8 and do better. It deals more damage
per hit, fires faster so more DPM, matches M44 mobility being
quick too.while it does not have the gun-arc traverse or camo,
people will benefit with DPM and lethalityinstead of 39 pen
now, we have to deal with arty bombing us with 48 pen, and 9% more

RenamedUser_1045619995, on Jun 24 2021 - 15:02, said: Spall liner was already pointless before this update and should
never be run. The way it works (or worked rather) was that it would
reduce damage from HE, but only by thickening the armor in response
(about 60%). But HE shells would always find the weakest point of
the armor within the splash radius and pen that. In practice
this resulted in very low HE damage reductions, something like
shaving off 50 damage taken from direct arty hits. No
idea how it works after this update (but isn't really needed now
either way). You're better off running turbo or improved hardening
in its place along with the usual vents/IRM/rammer combo

gun control buffed. It just doesn't seem as fast as it should

reverse compared to IS3

Link on message: #12857604
TastyPastry, on Jun 22 2021 - 20:32, said: German tanks get buffed a lot. The E 100 is strong, the
Panther 88 received a 20% DPM increase with an alpha buff in patch
1.10. The Panther 88 is a pretty good tank now. The Lowe is pretty
bad though. It has good HP and reasonable armor, but the anemic
DPM, alpha, and bad mobility hold it back.
Link on message: #12857604

Draschel: panther 88 suffers from problems. I think the Lowe is a
better chassis. Panther 88 already had DPM. It didn't need that
sort of buffThe aim-time is bad for it, which doesn't make
sense because the dispersion stats seem okay. Why s--- on it in
aim-time? And with only 203 pen? Why can't it have 212 like Jag
Tiger 88, they basically share the same gun. Still, no german
engine buffs either, like the old 870 horsepower these tanks used
to have. 59 patton, T95 Chieftain, Type 59, KV4? KV5? Everything
getting engines except german tanks. The camo rating is also very
poor for a medium, limiting its use. I'd rather make do, with
fine-in-class-already tier to tier 2,176 DPM, but have
something like 2.1 or 2.3 aim-time and 17 HP/T.....rather than
raw buffed DPM to 2.5K and the rest of the tank remains
s--- on a stick Don't get me wrong, the idea has happened
before and its changed certain tanks. Like Caernarvon. Caernarvon
is an epic tournament gold winner right now, where maps are picked
and you just DPM demolish your same tier foes in controlled
environments. But it really doesn't help too much of the tanks
glaring faults in pub battles.
Subject: Obj 4 track hull HE weakness still work?
Link on message: #12857576
Link on message: #12857576
Draschel: It depends. How you hit the track. What caliber you used, to hit
the track. What angle, you hit the track. -The goals being,
you need your HE shell to penetrate the track. If it will not
penetrate the track, it will not go through towards the body of the
tank, where it can deal damage.-So 90mm tier 8 medium gun, with 45
HE pen, most likely will never penetrate 279E tracks. It gets
caught up in track belt and absorbed.-A generic 122mm has a chance
to penetrate the track belts, but cannot have the shot be too
acutely into the tracks or the track effective armor increases and
again, the shell doesn't penetrate the track and is
absorbed. -Important to note, the shell must have a trajectory
through the track, hitting the tank body behind. Penetrating the
track, then flying off into space or hitting the dirt, and
narrowly missing the tank body behind will not yield a hit or
damage anymore. The HE simply wont detonate this way anymore and
have detonations this way cause splash. So ask
yourself these parameters. Is my shell on course, to hit the actual
tank body, and not just outer decals or spaced armor? Does my
shell have base HE pen to beat objects track effective armor? If
the armor is 40mm, alot of guns already can't beat it especially if
angle of instance is sloped. Guns like 76, 85, 90mm are whole out
of luck, unless unique HE like EBR75 or Senlac or RU251 that
sees these small bore guns with high pen HE. You'd need very high
pen HE like Leopard, M41GF, ISU152K, Etc. After all these are
met, then yes. Even a simple 76mm HE shell can cause some damage
1.13 to 279E. It just can't be interfered with, like vision blocks,
gun, tracks, spaced armor. But actually hitting the tank, small
bore HE effects have been increased. And rather than causing
0, will likely cause 5-10. And 5-10 damage is certainly
enough for a 2HP enemy, or a tank on cap.
