Subject: Skoda T 56: The new Czech tier VIII premium is ridiculous.
Link on message: #12902488
Link on message: #12902488
Draschel: The gun handling isn't bad, when compared to Somua, Bisonte, Emil
1951, IS3A, T77. And while the gun handling soft stats lag
behind 703-II, its balance are better aim-time and accuracy to
produce a better gun simply. None of these tanks are accurate
anyway except T77 or AMX50100, and those are significantly less
capable than Skoda 56. 248 penetration isn't a flaw I would say,
its just the number you need for tier 8, and because the
normalization boost compared to APCR, the number actually is
effectively better than you would think. Its enough for the troll
cupolas like KV4 / VK100 01 and LFP of Defender / AMX49 / TS5. Will
go right through UFP of things like Tiger II and AMXAC48, which is
all you require out of tier 8 premium shells. The
big problems are of course the hull armor, which lends to this
thing not being designed for boxing brawls with tanks like VK100 01
or Defender or KV4, unless you are undergoing a favorable double
trade. And then its versatility compared to things like
Renegade or 53TP, the mobility and range-control. The mobility is
like a Defender or Somua. So you'd need to know your positioning
and where to drive out to. The tank is great though, I'd venture a
guess it firmly seats itself right beside Renegade as top notch 8
heavy

You get a T56 into a battle with it's peers and down to VII and VI? It chews enemies for lunch. They're going to nerf it as soon as enough folks have ponied up real cash for it and the long tail off begins. It happens with every over-powered premium tank.

Link on message: #12902447
DeviouslyCursed: Seems to be the old MM that put like tanks on same team. I
personally liked that as it leads to disparity in tanks really
being shown. For instance, one all tier 9 match there were 7
mediums per side. They had 7 Chars. We had one Char and an
assortment of 6 other mediums. They also had 2 257's, and 2 AE
Phase. We had 0 of each. Guess what happened. It makes it much
more difficult for WG to ignore OP tanks with this type of MM.

Draschel: Do you honestly believe, that the only thing separating people who
perform very well, and appear skilled -- from the
people who seem average and are bland, are how many gold shells
they choose to fire? Is that what you are saying? Well you are
not alone. Problem is, it is a trait and ideal shared by many, and
among them they all share in common, that they tend not to be good
players. Now, no one requires people to be good, people can be
however, whomever they wish to, but lets keep the ignorance and
nonsense in check, how about that? If you wish to learn more,
know more, test yourself.Okay, so we know you perform average. We
won't be using a matilda, because matilda can bot spam, and that
teaches us nothing. So lets start with 6s, try your panzer IV
schmulturm, so you at least make credits and train crews along the
way. Lets dig right in. Play 75 games with panzer IV turm,
setup with ventilation in boosting spot, bonds rammer, bonds turbo.
Large repair kit, large first aid, 105 octane gas. 100%
firefighting skill, with fire fighting directive. Exterior paint.
60 APCR rounds.Play 75 games with panzer IV turm, setup with
ventilation in boosting spot, rammer, turbo. Small repair kit,
small first aid, manual fire ext. No run directive, crew just base
100%. No exterior camo. 55 AP, 5 APCR How do you think you
will perform here? Show us, post your results eventually. I am
willing to wager, your panzer IV turm stays the same, with the
second setup. 52% W/R, 550 DPG. I am willing to wager, your panzer
IV turm improves with the first setup, say 53% wins, 700 DPG. While
this may seem major, as you add over 20% damage every battle, put
this into perspective. Gold shells are affecting the overall effect
of seen WN8. Your WN8 has risen a notch, for sure. But....has it
made you the person that plays for WN8? Have you become the person
you hate, the gold spammer who has all their tanks with ridiculous
scores, 60+% W/R? Did you turn into a purple player? Most certainly
not. Panzer IV turm for sustained 2nd mark requirements, are 1,400
combined and people nowadays easily pull out with 1,000+ DPG in a
panzer IV. So the answer is yes, in short gold shells
increases your WN8. But the truthful answer to your real, inner
question is no - gold shells won't make you a 60% purple who
3-marks and aces tanks.

Draschel: isn't about the aim time. Or really that accuracy. Its about the
huge increase in muzzle velocity. The L56 88mm is a derp gun,
that sling shots ammo. While that may work in tier IV battles where
other tanks are using 700m/s ammo, its not a pleasant feeling in
higher tiers. I cannot stand Tiger 131, Mark VI, Cromwell,
Thunderbolt, Type 64 for the exact same reasons. I hate derp guns.
And because of it, those tanks I tend to run all APCR. I
said the DPM boost is low. But the DPM accumulates, because its
easy to miss a shot with L56 88. And you aren't as
punishingly hit by missing a shot with waffleIt is just better. You
save 1,300kg using waffle, making the chassis feel alot better.
Basically equivalent to half a turbocharger. If you use the
L56 88mm, use all APCR I guess. The additional gun
mantlet armor could work. But trades for 220 seem silly.

Draschel: You are delusional, and incorrect. Show someone
with 1,000 battles in object 260. And 1,000 battles in IS7. See who
is performing betterThen use 1,000 battles in chieftain, and 1,000
battles in super conqueror.Next, use 1,000 battles in LT432, and
1,000 in LTTB. How about EBR75, and Lynx. A free to play
account, can still have an unusually highly skilled player behind
it, and said player can still pay for the definite edges in battle
incorporating things as premium ammunition and
large consumables. And that exact player, could have also
grinded out 14day marathons for great tanks like T44100, LIS,
Renegade, SU130PM, Etc. Such a player, would also work towards
279E, 260, and could be a part of a clan to win stuff like VK7201
and 907. With this dedication in mind, yes the player is more or
less as skilled as any great paying player - but his work is harder
on him because a lack of extra earned convenience, But this
all isn't the point. The point is, the rule of average, what we can
see over populations, not individuals. Someone who pays has a
battlefield advantage over those that don't. Not all players,
actually very very very very few do, follow the model of the one I
described as above, or has the time available. Using the average NA
tank player data, such a player has a striking advantage if they
pay, over another average player that doesn't

too much alpha at all, for a heavy tank. By sacrificing 220 for
135, while gaining tremendously in precision - I see the huge
worth. And you aren't struggling against more T8How do you not beat
the T3485M with 7.5cm. You gain in DPM, pen, gun handling,
mobility. All L56 88mm provides is alpha, and minor benefit
sometimes where 88mm over matches. Whereas 145mm average
penetration can be confounded by armour like pudel or bretagne or
T3485M, 157 certainly isn't and makes it an easier pen. By
running turbocharger and importantly removing L56 88mm, you
arrive @ 13.9 HP/T, I think its large step up from 12.6
HP/T Modified configure works because German engine modules
suck, with their placement. With a hit box in the front, any LFP
damages your engine instantly, I'd recommend preventative
maintenance too. Its unfortunate.

Draschel: Why would even low tiers use gun layer if they can fit
rotator mechanism. Which also not only boosts gun handling, but
allows you to rotate If not running a rammer, I would use
Konisch 75mm gun, not the 88 L56. It is not that the DPM is the
issue, as the DPM only raises a tiny tiny tiny bit higher - it is
that the rate of fire makes DPM hugely better when dealing with
shots missed. The Konisch 75 has a more capable gold ammunition for
tier 8 encounters, and does better against 3601 sworn enemies, like
T3485M or OI. I understand running no more rammer is
alot more common now because of 2.0 opportunities, but why bonds
optics? Because 3601 has radio man, situational awareness is easily
fit in, and with +ventilation directive, situational awareness,
recon, BIA, bonds vents you are looking at 420? Which is fine for a
slower tier 6 heavy tank. If you are worried about tier 8 games all
the time, with hate to say it L56 88mm is horrid in tier 8,
and so are slow tier 6 heavies. And you would be running boosting
consumable then anyway, too. I'd run bounty rotator, or bonds
turbocharger instead of the optics.

Are people misusing this term to mean something else entirely? Or are there really people out there that think you will magically win more battles in this game if you buy something without actually improving your skill?
Draschel: The whole idea, doesn't necessarily mean ''Pay to win, all
the time'' It means, ''pay to win, more than you deserve
to'' I will explainAn average performing player, as defined
by world of tanks NA population standards, will scratch out 48.6%
W/R, and perform @ 1,100 WN8. This average performing
player, will do this kind of performance in an IS3, or IS7
typically. Here is where the problem starts. If this exact
player is playing Defender, or object 260, object 279E - their
performances tend to be slightly higher than they otherwise are
capable of. So instead, now they are averaging 50.5% W/R,
1,500 WN8. You see the big problem here? It is the same, comparing
people who have super conqueror and then also got Chieftain, doing
better than expected according to prior performance. And how they
got these tanks, paying of course. Someone average, PAYING for
LT432 may not break the record books in performance, but sure as
heck is doing better than they did completing LTTB. Someone average
PAYING for Somua, will do better than that said average guy
struggling through AMX50100. This is paying, and winning. Even if
they aren't what you expect, out with a 60+ W/R dominating the
game. They paid, and as such are reaping benefit and winning
more. The misuse of this language, of ''pay to win play'' gets
spammed most with gold ammunition usage in my experience. Although,
exclusively when a user starts spamming premium consumables,
ammunition, directives --- they will undoubtedly win more -
the problem is premium ammunition isn't exclusive. Premium
ammunition is available to everyone. Premium ammunition can be
acquired, without a heap of gold for it. Which means the complaint
is a means to an end, and just someone talking s--- They got
beat, bested, and are looking for scapegoat s--- to complain over.
And this is a big issue of pride, rather than truthfully looking
into what "pay to win" model means Now before all the
yelling and screaming, 260, 279E, Chieftain can't be bought with
gold, "what do you mean paid for, paying to get them and win?''That
is another story, but don't you worry, the underhanded, low levels
of World of Tanks involves plenty of lucrative contracting, paying
- for people to get these tanks you can't normally get with gold is
there. Astoundingly and pronounced.

problem with artillery is the class is messed up. I consistency
nightmare, not a 6 dotted dice, but a dice with 364 dots and sides,

to hurdle that they went wrong with arta long ago. So they
continually nerf it and nerf it, hoping someone takes notice in it
getting fixed. That is not the way to fix things. Arta could be
made to have 9sec aim-time, 2.50 accuracy where it rains shells
everywhere, except where you want it and still people would

makes you act like a child and start throwing a fit.
I believe WG uses RNG, MM and "soft stats" to
keep EVERYONE as close to 50% as they can because I SEE IT EVERY
TIME I PLAY. You frothing at the mouth and telling me different
does not overcome WHAT I SEE IN THE GAME EVERY TIME I PLAY.
You choose to think differently and spend HOURS here frothing at
anyone who dares differ, okay thats your thing.. I don't really
care what you think except when you start insulting people and
acting all arrogant and superior at people having a different
opinion. Maybe you should take a step back and stop crapping on
people who differ with you. After all you have no more proof of
what WG actually does than anyone else.

you can't. So what is far more likely is that you are simply
delusional.

If you go though life always thinking you are right, it just
means you are too stupid to know when you are wrong.
Now look in the mirror. That statement describes you. You are
a 50+ year old man that acts like an immature little kid
insulting people and calling them names. Grow up. You have
some valid points, but sometimes the crap that comes out of your
mouth is just that...crap. You seem to think that
somehow by belittling people that you win arguments, when all it
does it tell everyone what an insecure small minded person you must
be. Enjoy your life. You must be a joy to be around judging
from your posts.
Death_on_2_Treads, on Aug 20 2021 - 17:13, said: And I'm good with that.....I'd like to see where it says (
something official you know) it isn't in play and then I'll agree.
Certainly you can reference a document or something if "they said
it wasn't in play". I'm far past the point of taking anyone's word.
Link on message: #12901352

DeviouslyCursed: I'm a total jerk on the forums, but generally pretty chill in
game. You see I don't blame people for not being able to process
all the things required to be good at this game, really fast so
that they can actually apply it usefully. Not everyone can do that.
But on the forums, you have as much time as you need to think about
what is being said, and what you are going to say. When the sum
total of all that careful thought deliberation is "It's rigged! I
just know it to be true!" then I'm going to call the person an
idiot, and justifiably so. I rarely rage at someone in game, and if
I do it is at someone that is doing something like sitting 10
meters outside the cap, stationary, while the enemy has a massive
lead and your only hope is to cap. The guy on the cap is screaming
"Get on the cap!" Everyone else is screaming "Get on the cap!" And
the clueless baddie just sits, not moving, looking around, 10
meters outside the cap. Then the guy capping gets reset with about
10 seconds left to cap it out.

DeviouslyCursed: I don't understand this. This is part of your problem. This
is an appeal to authority, and it is completely irrelevant to the
data. If WG said it was in game, but data showed it wasn't, then it
isn't in the game. If WG said it isn't in the game, but the data
showed that it was, then it is in the game. What WG proclaims is
irrelevant. You are demonstrating a lack of understanding on the
nature of evidence. I will give real example that occurred. A
very long time ago there was a mission involving getting lots of xp
(it may have been the WZ111 or T-34-100 month long mission, but I
can't remember). During this event, WoT had a double xp weekend.
Every single match was double xp, win or lose. They said on the
website that the double xp would NOT count toward the mission. But
when you checked in game, recorded what xp you were on, then played
a match, and looked at where your mission was, the double xp WAS
being applied toward the mission. I was telling people about that
in the matches, to grind fast before they fixed it in a mini patch
or something. Some reject started arguing with me, saying it
doesn't apply. His "proof" was the WG official announcement that
the double xp was not going to apply. I told him how to check it.
He still refused. He called me a moron because "clearly WG would
know more than I did about it." I don't understand how a person's
mind can function like this. I couldn't believe someone could
actually be so clueless as to think what was said by anyone carries
more weight than actual reality. It's like that idiot never
figured out that parents can be wrong, teachers can be wrong, and
your boss/manager can be wrong. Apparently if an authority figure
says something, it has to be true no matter what reality says. Yes,
I know what is most likely the cause of this flawed way of
thinking. And there are places people can go to meet up with
others who think like that. I just don't know how to fix a mind
that is that broken. In the case above, what WG said was
irrelevant. What WG wanted was irrelevant. What the coders said
they did was irrelevant. What matters is how the program functions.
And regardless of what anyone said, wanted, or tried to code, the
double xp was applying, and that was the only relevant piece of
information.

Clutch_Shot_007, on Aug 20 2021 - 08:44, said: I recently started playing FrontLine, but on balance I'm doing far
more poorly in it than I do in random battles. Unlike in
Random Battle, where you can play lower tier tanks to gain
familiarity with the maps, the learning costs are higher in Tier 8
and 9. I've had some good games in FrontLine that were fun,
but I've also had games where I've been completely stomped far
worse than in random battles. It feels a bit like enrolling
in school, but at the start of final exams rather than at the start
of the school year. Which has me wondering: is the current
FrontLine map new this year or is it essentially like it was in
year's past?

nose-dived off a small ridge super slow and wound up destroying
myself. Now I have done this with a bunch of other heavy tanks on

think is indicative of rigging is the part that would make people
be top tier if they lose a lot, and bottom tier if they win a lot.
Anyone who have kept track has come to the same conclusion: this
isn't happening. Therefore that part of the patent is not
implemented. Proving that it is used would be pretty easy. But
of course you want attempt that.
