issues, keep your posts as clear and constructive as possible.
Irrelevant/off-topic entries will be deleted. Consumption of
memory by the game client reduced. System of game sound loading
changed to reduce the number of in-battle freezes. Streaming of
music and ambient sounds from the hard disk at zero volume level

Ectar: Greetings Commanders! Please leave any feedback regarding
the new Interface update and bug fixes/additional changes on
the 9.5 test server in this thread. To help us
gather feedback accurately and identify any issues, keep your
posts as clear and constructive as possible. Irrelevant/off-topic
entries will be deleted. Players will receive additional XP
for damage caused to vehicles spotted by them, if the spotted
vehicle is of higher Tier than the player's vehicles (+10% for each
Tier of difference between the vehicles), but not more than 30%.
Functionality of the minimap expanded. Added: view vector, sector
of fire (only for SPGs), display of the vehicle names, display of
the point where the vehicle was last spotted. Warning
for inaction in battle will now be issued only after three
violations in a row (previously, the fine was imposed on the player
immediately). Now the fine for inaction in battle will be imposed
on the player only after the fourth violation. Some issues with
interface and gameplay in the Stronghold mode fixed. Interface of
the Special Battle window improved. Interface of the recurring
awarding of the Mastery Badge changed. Display of Camouflage on
vehicles when using the Improved Graphics preset improved. Effects
of shells hitting the vehicle reworked. Volume of sound upon the
end of reloading increased. Condition text for the Arsonist,
Demolition Expert, and Kamikaze awards changed. The Racer 2014
medal moved to the Special category. Flickering of vehicle markers
on the minimap fixed. Calculation of the number
of hits of external modules (tracks and the gun) in the post-battle
statistics fixed. Issue with vehicles not receiving the Elite
status with all researched modules fixed. Issue with the vehicle
model falling through the Garage floor fixed. Issue with the
Platoon chat turning off upon disabling the battle chat in the
Random Battle mode fixed. Issues with the Confederate medal not
being awarded if the player only damaged the tracks of enemy
vehicles fixed. Rare issue with the camera displacing to zero
coordinates when switching between the allied vehicles in the
Postmortem mode fixed. Display of vehicle tracks when switching
between the allied vehicles in the Postmortem mode fixed. Issue
with multiple splashes appearing when a shell hits the water at an
angle fixed. Issues with depression angle restrictions of
critically damaged guns not working fixed. Issue with
the inability to return a crew in the vehicle, if the crew members
who had previously been sent to the Barracks filled the Barracks to
capacity fixed. List of hints on the battle loading screen
expanded. Some minor issues with interface and text of several
messages fixed.

Ectar: Greetings Commanders! To help gather feedback specifically
on the new features added with update 9.5, we have pre-created
threads for feedback. To help you navigate this forum section
please be mindful of the following rules/advice: If you're
reporting a bug or problem you've encountered, please
use this forum section. Please only
provide feedback if you have actually tried the changes on the test
server. Respect the forum rules. As always normal forum rules
apply to this section so please don't get drawn into petty insults
if you and another player have a different opinion on any
changes. If you wish to leave feedback on a specific aspect
of the test server - please check to see if there is already an
existing topic and then add your voice to that subject. Don't spam
or go off topic. If it's not related to update 9.5 then your
post doesn't belong in this section and will be removed. Try to be
as detailed as possible with your feedback. "It's crap" or "I don't
like it" is not very helpful. Explain and describe what you
like or don't like.

Ectar: Greetings players! Thank for you taking part in the testing
for update 9.5 we apologize if you're experiencing
problems. To allow easier navigation and orientation of this
section, please be aware of the following rules: Avoid
Off-Topic posts and threads. Check if the bug is already
reported. If it is, add your report to the existing thread. For
bugs regarding graphics or game crashes, add a listing
of dxdiag file in spoiler. For map
bugs such as visual issues with the environment, or a location
where your vehicle is unexpectedly stuck, add a screen
shot of the location so it's easily identifiable. Try to provide as
much information as possible about what you were doing
in-game when the bug appeared.

for all our players. Some are aimed at players who spend money,
some are aimed and medium tank drivers, some aimed at German and
British tank drivers etc etc. We always try to spread our
reach regarding how many players can take advantage of something
(which is why things like x3 first wins feature on weekend
specials). But when it comes to premium shop offers, you can't
really complain that people who don't want to spend money can't
take advantage of the offers.

inacessable to all but the chosen few, ie: those with deep pockets
that can afford thisEctar: Again, it's a premium shop offer. Why would we have offers
in our premium shop that don't require players to spend money?
That's the entire point of the premium shop. Occasionally
premium tanks are available via in-game missions (TOG-2 as a recent
example) but we don't advertise that in a premium store promotion.
Lower price packages are included through the month but the
lower the price, the less flexibility there is to offer discounts
or additional features.
gerbilman, on 04 December 2014 - 01:15 AM, said: As for the calendar comment, maybe it shouldn't have being called
an advent calender, i have never seen one where you have to pay for
your own giftsEctar: I'm not quite sure I follow your train of thought here. The
alternative is that you expect a free gift each day of the calendar
and that's not really a realistic expectation either when you
consider it's a premium shop promotion (Unless you're
seriously expecting free gold and a free tank each day). As
I've stated before we still have regular in-game bonuses and
discounts taking place this month along with missions, nothing has
changed in that respect. The advent calendar is something
that is specific to premium shop offers and players who are looking
to spend some money on the game. It's simply a different way of
offering packages we don't normally have available and for a
limited time. To think of it another way it's like a "flash
sale". Some tanks will always have specific
requirements to get them or will always be limited in availability.
Whilst I'm not going to go into details about all the tanks
which may feature I will confirm that the the pre-order tanks won't
be available and neither will the Clan Wars reward tanks.
Regarding the BTSV questions, the package that the
BTSV was included in, was a limited package. That was available
only on the RU region and was intended for RU players.
The first batch of codes in the run weren't region locked
which ment they could be redeemed on any server. Later codes
were region locked to the RU server only (as originally intended).
As quoted at the time these packages were limited to a set
number and there is no plans to produce this
package again. Please note the term "package" and not "tank".
The tank itself however is not limited and we never intended
to "only have 6000" on the RU servers. For EU and NA we have
advised players multiple times that there was no short term plans
to make the tank available but at no time did we ever state "This
tanks was limited to 6000 and will never be available again" or "We
won't sell this tank to players". It was always a
possibility the BTSV would come to these regions and this month is
the first time we've been able to do that. With regards to
the pricing of the package, it's very similar to what the original
package was when the BTSV was only available on the RU server
roughly 2 years ago (excluding exchange rate fluctuations during
the past 2 years).

Christmas/New Year Special last year and let me know where you feel
we failed to deliver. The advent offers are special offers not
normally available in the premium store. They have never been
advertised as a "Discount tanks every day for the next 24
days". That is an expectation only you have set yourself.
This attitude from some elements of the playerbase is
becoming pretty frustrating to read. I get that everyone wants as
much as possible for as little cost, that's human nature but the
comments from some players are going beyond that. Before you
claim we "don't care" or "we're only in it for the money" - look
back at all the discounts and bonuses you got over the last year
*especially* around Christmas time. The advent calendar isn't
the only thing that will happen over the Christmas period. If
you're expecting crazy discounts and bonuses right now, you're
setting unrealistic expectations. Especially considering you'd
expect us to then top those offers 22 days from now.

Ectar: As this topic is descending into off topics and not really
something related to discussion of the game, moving to off topic.
To clarify a few things. Discussing bans on the NA
forums is not something against the rules on the EU forums as they
are totally separate databases moderated by different teams.
It's not like players banned on EU forums have
never started posting on NA when their EU ban took
place. I'd like to ask Garbad and Silentstalker to keep their
differences off the forums. Garbad: If you
don't care about internet/forum points then I don't see why you'd
post this topic on the EU forums. From speaking to you in the
past and knowing a bit about you I doubt you seriously care about
what the readers or Silentstalker thinks about you.
When you're looking for readership numbers there is no better news
that "drama news" truth or not and people need to remember
that and not get drawn in.

discounts/bonuses for Christmas haven't been announced. Already you
have dismissed what is still to come because you don't have it now.
Lets just take a step back and chill out please. Go back
through every weekend special from now to the start of the year and
reconsider the part were you're making out we do nothing for the
players in regards of discounts and bonuses. I don't quite
understand how saying that a company which regular discounts it's
standard offers to players and provides bonuses on the regular
in-game features when the game is free to play in the first place,
can be called greedy.

need for language like this. Whilst this is an internet forum you
should also consider your messages as if you were talking to
someone face to face and if you said something like that to any
Wargaming Staff member I can guarantee anything you said following
that wouldn't be listened to. The package price isn't a Pz B2
with gold "thrown on top" it's an existing gold package (which
actually is actually a very popular package) with a free Pz B2 on
top.

you're saying here is a pretty hefty claim with zero evidence. If
you are being serious with regards to "corrupt staff" members
selling codes on ebay I recommend you come forward with your
evidence so this can be investigated, otherwise I ask that you stop
from making accusations like this. Seriously dude, even coming
back and saying "It's just a joke dude" isn't cool. There is far
too many players who would take your comments as something serious
and then the silly rumors start up based on a lie. This really
is one of those "think before you type" moments.
Realest, on 03 December 2014 - 09:14 AM, said: Ectar: The pre-order tanks won't be available to purchase ever
again on the EU or NA regions. The Clan War tier 10 reward tanks
are Clan War rewards. We have no plans to ever sell these tanks on
any region and our devs have stated multiple times we have no plans
to sell tanks any higher that tier VIII There is no room for
discussion regarding tanks that fall into those two categories.
If you want a Clan Wars tank, play Clan Wars. They're a
reward to players specifically for taking part in that
contest/event and they're intended to draw players into playing
Clan Wars. Pre-order tanks were only ever supposed to be
available for a limited period of time for players who purchased
the pre-order package. It was a limited time offer and that time
has expired. With regards to the advent
calendar. I'd like to remind players that the main point of the
calendar is to have a different offer each day. It's not to offer
rare tanks that have never been sold before for half their
value (Which is something some of you seem to be expecting).
We will begin the winter festivities with a special World of
Tanks Advent Calendar, which will produce one special
offer for each day, from 1 to 24 December. This means
that for every day included in the calendar, there will be a new
unique package added to the Premium Shop. Twenty-four cold winter
days means twenty-four red hot offers added progressively as
days go by! Make sure to check our website regularly, because the
offers prepared for the calendar will feature many exceptional
packages, including some with rare and/or completely new
content! The catch is that every Advent Calendar offer will
last for only 24 hours, so don’t hesitate for too long or
you may lose the opportunity to get a hold of something really
unique! As the statement above notes. We have a new offer
every day and those offers are not something you normally see
available in the premium shop. Whilst some offers may seem more
expensive you have to look at the total package and not simple the
price of the tank (as there is many like for like comparisons
people are making whilst ignoring the additional
content). There is multiple packages which include rare tanks
and some not seen before (The BTSV which you've already seen for
example). We understand that some of the offers are priced higher
than some players may expect, but please understand we wouldn't set
these prices if people weren't buying them and we can't offer
bundles that work against us. An example would be that we
can't have a situation where it's more beneficial to purchase a
really desirable low price package (with or without a
discount) over and over rather than purchasing one of our
normal gold packages. Player feedback is important on these
offers, but please understand that comments on our forums are not
the only deciding factor in monetization of the game. Again I
have to ask forum members to please be mindful of their language
when addressing Wargaming members of staff or other forum
users. Please don't let your emotions get the better of you
and if your'e upset or angry about something, then chill out, take
some time and write a well thought out and balanced reply rather
that something riddled with insults. The first type of post
will be taken on board, the 2nd one will get skipped past and
ignored.

Ectar: This plane has both never been available before, nor has it
been part of a retail package. Whilst the BTSV was available
with a code that worked in all regions, it was still only a RU
region retail release. It wasn't something made available to EU or
NA retailers for sale in those regions.

of it in retail sense as if it was a highstreet store, imagine your
favorite electrical/gaming/clothing store tells you what stuff is
going to be discounted after Christmas and how much it will
cost. That store/shop will sell pretty much nothing until then
as everyone waits till that discount comes up. Whilst
shoppers would love to know sale/discount information in advance,
releasing that information actually damages sales because no one
spends money until then. You effectively kill off "impulse buying"
which is what is a key factor of any sale.
Everyone in the UK for example knows about Boxing Day sales, but no
one ever knows what will be discounted and by how much until Boxing
Day.

package the BTSV is part of = 80 pound. That includes 27,500
gold and 30 days premium. You don't get 27,500 gold
and 30 days premium when you purchase a tier 8. Lets not
make things up or twist things just to suit your argument.
The tanks are not the same price. The packages are and the
package contents are totally different.

We can't create a situation for example where it is cheaper for a
player to purchase a tank multiple times rather than purchase a
gold package. There will be multiple offers available
through the month and some offers will appear more than once to
allow players multiple opportunities to pick up something they
perhaps couldn't get at an earlier date.

officially. I've said myself that any information provided
from external sources should be taken with a pinch of salt because
until we announce things officially, the information is always
subject to change. No one set your expectations here other
than yourself and whatever source you got your previous
information from. It becomes quite a silly situation when
you're complaining about changes made to something that was never
confirmed in the first place.
DenOndeBonde, on 30 November 2014 - 01:00 PM, said: crapmission is crap.... its 3£.... what a joke.Ectar: Getting something for nothing is actually worth quite a lot
for some players. There is hundreds of thousands of players
who have never bought gold or a premium sub who will welcome
roughly 750 gold. If you don't like it fair enough but I know
that in any game I play online, getting something for nothing that
would normally cost me money out my pocket is very much
appreciated.

:)Ectar: No one was ever picked as a "main horse" and no one ever has
been. The difference is simply recent content output. I met
Quickybaby at Tankfest 2012 and we started playing together. I
would join in his streams every so often and would occasionally
post on Facebook when we went live. We would also at the time
retweet RitaGamer who had not long started streaming. At that time
the only other prominent streamer was Highflyer15 who was more well
known for his youtube videos. There wasn't many other people
streaming at the time and the most views were always on Russian
channels. I can remember Quickybaby reaching a peak of 500 viewers
when we did a 12 hour stream when British tanks were released, and
I can remember RitaGamer getting excited about reaching 50 twitch
followers. Things were a lot lot different 2 years ago.
To give you another example of the "it's not just 1 guy" - We
brought Highflyer15 to Gamescom 2012, and we also brought him
to Gamescom 2013 along
with Circonflexes. Just because we haven't featured a
contributor recently on our portal doesn't mean we're no longer
supporting them. Our recent articles related to content
patches have been player created youtube videos and there has
been multiple other players highlighted. If someone isn't making
videos it's pretty hard to promote them in a video-centric article
that is focused on specific content.

numbers.Ectar: They have the "propaganda machine" available to them,
however any content has to be relevant to our articles. Both
players are well known to our community team and I drop by both of
their channels frequently myself. If we're publishing a
post about update 9.3 and a player/editor has no content
related to that, we don't really have any other options. -
Community Contributors have direct contact with Wargaming and know
the stuff we're looking for. Now along with being relevant to
the article, the content also has to be within what would be
considered normal forum/in-game rules. (This is why some
streamers/youtubers will never be officially promoted due to their
language/behavior when they stream or the content of their chat).
We want to promote as many players as possible as we're
trying to spread our coverage as far as we can, that content
however always has to be of a certain standard and not
just "for teh lolz". The people who have met me in real
life or know me personally know my sense of humor and whilst there
is lots of stuff out there which I agree is funny or entertaining
in it's own way, it's not appropriate for an official games
company website to promote. The aim of this recent
event was to promote Clan Wars which with 11k viewers I think you
can all agree that to a certain extent it worked. Yes
there is things we can improve on next time and I'm pretty sure
that more Community Team members, streamers and clans will want to
participate next time. If you're unhappy that XXX streamer didn't
take part, please understand that this was the first time we've
done something like this, and to get the most coverage it's only
natural we'd do something with the player who has the highest
viewer numbers. I look forward to seeing what the next
campaign brings, how many players/clans take part and what we
can do to promote it.

playing high tier because that's where you expect the most
experienced players to be, and to be matched with players who know
their tanks, know the maps, and generally should know how to play
depending on the vehicle they're playing? I say "expect" and
"generally" here because there will always be people who can reach
top tier by not really learning along the way, however for the most
part, the better players play at the higher tiers.

been mentioned ever that we'd allow tier 10 premiums. Our devs have
stated multiple times the exact opposite in fact. Tier 8 premiums
are the highest we would offer. I'm all for people having
issues with the game, we're never going to please
everyone, but making things up out of thin air with zero
evidence or sources for their claims is becoming a bit silly now.
In the other games you listed, anyone can get
to top level in SWTOR and WoW as they're PvE games that guide
you step by step. You can even now buy a top level character
in WoW. It's natural that in any game there is a
minority that are very skilled. You have to remember however
that WoT doesn't have a skill based matchmaking system and it
certainly doesn't use XVM stats (which is a player generated
formula) to match you against other players. The MM doesn't care
about your XVM stats or whatever custom configs people are using to
make them feel superior to others.

Ectar: - Ignore XVM it's a guide and nothing more. Anyone can have
a lucky game. - It takes seconds to create a Facebook account if
you really really wanted to take part. You can then close the
Facebook account after the event. It costs nothing but some of your
time. - Again, anyone can have a lucky game. We have limited amount
of goodies and we're not going to give out goodies just for turning
up at the booth. You appear to have misunderstood the term
"dogtag" for the
literal translation. It's a bottle opener that we give away as
part of the goodie bag. You can see an example of one
here. (note that the other items here are not necessarily
available at Reboot, this image was from a previous event in the
Netherlands). - We don't have the direct information regarding
stage shows as yet sadly. If codes were thrown out you have just as
much chance of catching or being handed one as anyone else. - As
for what's on the codes, you'll just need to wait and see.
If you've been to gaming events past you'll know (or if you haven't
been to events then you need to understand this next bit)
- various booths have various levels of goodies they give out
and there is multiple booths that give out nothing. It's
not really fair to judge a game or company based on what freebies
you can get from their booths at events, or to instantly write off
the event because you've already decided you won't get anything for
whatever reasons. You have the exact same chances as everyone
else who visits our booth and plays our games. I can't really say
much else because if you're always going to come up with reasons
why you can't do something before even trying, it's clear that
you're not really interested in trying in the first place.
I'll be honest it always make me a little sad when we do an event
like this for 5 days and it seems all people care about is the
freebies they can get. What ever happened to people attending
things like Reboot because they love computer/console games and
visiting booths because they're a fan of those
games?

Pz IV Hydro is only available as a retail promo when you buy one of

it's possible it will be available for ReBoot. And just to

region and there is no plans to release it anytime soon. Type 59 is
reserved for global/regional contest prizes and only major events
like Gamescom, Igromir, E3. (Reboot is a big event but not on the
scale of those events). I'm not even sure if we gave out any at
Gamescom this year. Type 62 has never been available in code format

Pre-Order tanks available as the time-scale for their availability
on EU has passed and they were limited time offers.

as a common language. CCP's main player base has English as a
common language (as do many other western developed games such a
LoL, WoW Dota II, SWTOR etc etc). The only difference here is
that the common language from our game isn't your language.
Like it or not World of Tanks has 4 times as many players who
speak Russian, than speak English. Russia was the country where the

Ectar: If you can't win 5 games in 3 hours then you're likely playing on
tilt and losing focus. Whilst you can blame everyone else for
losing, you're going to get that potentially at any time due to the
random factor in making teams. Even if we had a skill
based MM there is still no guarantee that you'll win more often, it
only give you team mates and enemy at the same stats (not
necessarily skill level). Taking a break and coming back to
the game refreshed would have probably saved you a lot of hassle.
As would giving yourself enough time to compete the event so it
wasn't a rush at the end. It wasn't intended to be a give
away and requirements had to be met, this tank is always still
going to be available in the premium store and every so often it
comes up in a discount. It sounds like you were chasing the
wins which means it's very normal for players to get tunnel vision
and play scrappy, I've done it myself plenty of times.
Personally I always take a break if I have 4 or 5 losses in a
row. Remember it's a game at the end of the day, there is no
point in getting worked up about it. If you really really want a
Tog and this isn't your main account I'd recommend waiting for a
few months as it's highly likely the Tog will be on discount
sometime between now and Christmas.

things. Whilst I may have that information I don't disclose
it because I'm told not to. It's not because I don't want to.

reply. I fully agree that the timing could have been more
transparent but at the time we didn't expect this reaction from the
community by choosing a date roughly in the middle of EU releases.
"Oh come on how couldn't you know?!?" - It seriously wasn't
thought of as being an issue because the tank is going to be
available for a few weeks and getting it now or 4 days later really
really isn't costing anyone other than "I wants it now". If
hindsight was foresight then no one would make mistakes to learn

consider this. We do this job because we seriously care about
the community. We do it to the best of our ability and with all the

can't share for various reasons. Being sarcastic and saying things
like "you should be fired" is actually pretty nasty comments to
make and you're blowing the issue totally out of proportion when
you consider this all because "We thought the EU Fury tank release

nothing to do with the PC version and what's in one version of the

sale for a very long time. As I said with all other premium shop
offers we don't tell players this information in advance. 2. I
understand where you're coming from here but what happens in
another region server really doesn't have any impact on your
regional server. You're playing the same game yes, but you're
not seeing people in your matches with something you don't have.
Content that could have been enjoyed? - You'll still get to enjoy
it. Having the tank in your garage now or 3 days later won't affect
the enjoyment you get from the tank in days/weeks/months to
come. War in Ukraine? - Come on sir, we're talking about a
computer game here. Lets not talk about politics and bring a
subject like that into this. NA and SEA don't necessarily get
different treatment. The issue is that some players want
everything they can get and want it now. You never see
someone say "Hey I think this is actually too much, I mean
look at how we act now and what we demand/what we need to be
satisfied". Skip back 1 year and look at what was on offer then.
It's amazing how quickly all that is forgotten as people just
always demand more returns for as little investment/work as
possible. It's always "we want more" or "we want what they
have". Even when thing were equal promotions it wasn't enough.
It was still answers like "I was expecting tier 8 discounts" or
"Where is the equipment discount?" or "Omg, TD's again" etc
etc. 3. Why write in English? Our largest single language on
the forums is German with Polish right behind them. Combined
between the 2 it's more activity than the English speaking section.
Our actual highest forum visits and portal visits
are from Poland. - See how making choices for EU players isn't
as simple as you think it is when looking at it purely from a
single player's point of view?

true and tbh kinda hurtful to see as everyone should know how much
work we put into keeping you guys informed with the information we
have. We can see now in hindsight that there has perhaps
been a bit overhyping which could have been avoided by giving the
date in advance. Which is why I'll give the date at the end of this
post

we generally don't give this information in advance. - We have
articles prepped on time however there is always things that come
up with little warning and have short deadlines. Try running
a blog for a few months and providing that blog in 5 different
languages with a minumum of 3 articles a day, with each article
going out at the same time and you'll quickly have a small taste of
what it's like. Remember we have 4 games to cover on top of this
when you see how hectic things can get. - Again it's always easy to
make assumptions when you're on the outside looking in. Any job or
role can look easy till you experience it for yourself. I'm not
making excuses or saying it's all down to translations issues but
players really really underestimate how much work goes into having
stuff ready on time. That's not the issue with the Fury tank
release date however. It's simply that the date isn't the same as
when the movie was released in the UK, it was a date chosen in the
middle of the various EU release dates. - That's correct to an
extent because each region is there to cater to it's own regional
players. NA promotions are aimed at NA players and
mainly focus on American activity during WW2 or American
public holidays/historical events. RU promotions are aimed at
RU players and mainly focus on Russian activity during
WW2 or Russian public holidays/historical events.
It's the exact same for EU region but what many people fail
to understand -(or just flat out refuse to acknowledge) in EU we
have multiple different countries with different activities/events
during WW2 and majorly different public holidays/historical
events. Wargaming has never stated anywhere that players
across all our servers would have access to the same events week in
week out as that's just not feasible with such a varied playerbase
who want different things. Now to end all the questions. The
Fury tank will be available from the 27th of October in our premium
store with different packages starting from 29,99 euro. This price
includes a 100% crew and additional gold. In future we'll
make sure that when something is hyped, any dates are communicated
to players at the earliest opportunity to avoid issues like this
again.

lets not go down this "It was launched in X country so that means
you now must sell it in the shop because XXX region is selling it
because the movie was launched there" - The sale date of the Fury
tank hasn't changed from when it's always been planned to be
released. 2 - The tank will be available to purchase for at

those regions is a pointless thing to do. EU is the only region
that publishes articles in 7 languages and they always have to go
out at the same time. We have to adjust articles for different
languages and there is always cultural differences and little
things like "that saying makes no sense in our language" to take
into consideration. We very rarely publish news articles
globally at the same time, and it's even more rare that any
promotions are done globally in sync unless it's a major event like
our anniversary. It's very easy to criticize the EU region for
relaying information but some of you really don't
appreciate/understand the work that goes into writing multiple
articles in multiple languages on a daily basis and making sure
they're all ready in time. I've seen terms like "we deserve
to know" and other demanding statements - Chill out guys.
You know it's coming, it's coming very soon and you're just
going to have to be patient. Some of you are acting like
we've taking something away from you or said we're not selling it,
which is sad to see. The tank will be available when it's
announced on the portal and as with all of our previous premium
shop offers we don't disclose information like this in advance.

level battles. With the Type 59's it is/was popular with
experienced players as their main "go to" tank to generate extra
credits. If you took the same 3 players and put them in any
other tier 8 medium the battle results would pretty much be
the exact same depending on the map. It's good because it can
fulfil multiple roles but doesn't exactly excel in all those areas
(for example it's never been good for long range sniping).
It's best role is when used to flank or when to push with heavy
tanks as it's manoeuvrable and it still capable of bouncing shots
when using terrain to your advantage. I've said it multiple
times in the past and I'll say it here. I'd still take a Pershing
over a Type 59 every time. The Type 59 was last on
sale over 2 years ago when a lot of the community wasn't in high
tiers and for many players seeing one in battle, it was more likely
to be high tier for them. Most players didn't have tier 8 or 9
themselves so they were seeing the Type 59 as a tier 6 or 7 tanks.
Before I started working for WG in May 2012 I had an account
with over 2500 battles and my 3 tier 8 tanks only had about 50
battles each. People didn't know where to shoot it and
many players would simply mistake it for a T-54 and try to avoid
it. Basically it was a totally different game over 2 years
ago than it was now.
