Ectar:   100% sure it's not coming back to the shops and especially 100% sure it's not going to be available at Christmas.  There has been plenty of other "big opportunities" this year to sell the tank if we were going to for example:   Chinese New Year Release of Chinese Tanks 2nd Year Server Anniversary 15 year Company Anniversary   It's not coming back to the gift shop.

Ectar:   The last time it was available was about April/May 2012.  After that it has never been available in the store and there is no plans to ever bring it back to the stores. That also means for Christmas. I can tell everyone now that the Type 59 isn't going to be the store for Christmas.   We've said time and time again there is no plans for it ever to return to the store. The only way you can get one now is to either be lucky and get a code at a major event, or to win one of our major regional contests. 

Ectar:   We do care about our players. To show us an example of 2 flights of people getting presents from their airline, and then saying; "because we haven't done the same for a select group of our players we don't care" is a pretty ridiculous comparison.   You're correct to think that we have no plans to surprise you like the airline company surprised those passengers. That is a rather unbelievable thought if you honestly are asking us to do the same.  Look at the clothes you're wearing, the food you're eating, the stuff you decorate your house with, the shops you shop in daily/weekly/monthly.. Do you expect those companies to treat you with a special gift like the airline did? Again sir I have to ask, why after watching that video why do you honestly expect the same treatment from a free to play computer game and not any other company who's products you regularly use?   Is that really what it comes down to do? "Wargaming doesn't care because they don't give away free TV's or other things I want for Christmas" ?     To the other people reading this thread or accusing us of not caring.  With the greatest of respect here you need to chill out and stop being so negative or looking for the bad side of things all the time. The Winter surprize calendar is not the main Christmas event. It's something extra we have done on the lead up to Christmas. It was never stated that is all you get this month. The portal page even has the following message at the start of the article:

Ectar:   The Christmas bonus/discounts haven't even been announced yet and I'm sure everyone will be surprized what is you can get then.   Whilst I agree that video is really awesome, it's a bit unfair to come to any other company and say "Hey you should do this too". I mean I know Christmas is all about giving, but why would you expect a computer game you play to buy you Chirstmas gifts?  That's a pretty crazy request to be honest.  "Wargaming didn't buy me a TV for Christmas, they don't care".   Take a step back and calm down please. I'm sure World of Tanks isn't the only game you play and to somehow think that we should give out high value freebies just because you want them is a rather nasty way of thinking.  

Ectar:   Do you get free stuff when you play Super Mario World/GTA V/Battlefield 4/World of Warcraft/League of Legends?   Why the demand from World of Tanks?     Have you actually written down the discounts you get over the space of a single month and realised all the discounts and bonuses you already get?

Ectar: 1 topic is enough if you're reporting the same issue. There is no need to create a thread in our forum troubles section and then in our general discussion. If a forum feature doesn't work after this morning's update, then I'll straight up say we're sorry  for the inconvenience and we'll get that looked into and get it fixed asap.  There is no need to have your report dripping with sarcasm or in your other post dropping to petty name calling when you're looking for help.   *edit* I've been able to edit this post with no problems.  Please try logging out of the forums and logging back in, then trying to edit your post again.

Free exp yes. I logged into planes this morning and had 1258 free exp, it then updated to 99,580 free exp as it added my World of Tanks free exp. I used some of that exp to unlock my Spitfire V (tier VI) For now that's been my current goal in Warplanes (Not really interested in going up the trees as tier V and VI is filled with all the historical prop planes I want to fly against). Now any free exp I earn in Warplanes will be used for World of Tanks, mainly to either unlock modules on newly purchased tanks (I rarely play stock), or to be kept in reserve to allow me to skip tiers when a new branch comes out. (I plan to go straight to tier 8 in the Japanese medium line).

Ectar: you can never underestimate the power of the Uliuliuli.

Ectar: Some players have pointed out already about it possibly being an HE shell. (you've not taken the normal damage you'd get from an E3). The shell penetration markers are not always an accurate indication of shell direction.  Do you have a replay of the match so we can see what happened?

If for example you prefer one fast food chain over another, do you go to the forums of the one you dislike, just to tell everyone you'd rather eat at your favourite instead?
Do you stand in the restaurant of the one you dislike and tell everyone eating there that you prefer to eat at a different restaurant?
(And before anyone says "I don't like/eat fast food" just to be awkward. Pretend it's rival clothing stores)

Would you go the Xbox One forums just to tell everyone you prefer PS4? (In fairness I can see habitual trolls doing something like this) Do you think the PS4 fans would really care about you preferring Xbox One? Would you go into an apple store just to tell the shoppers and staff there you prefer android products? Seems to be rather weird and attention seeking behaviour doesn't it? I mean in real life you'd take no notice of someone like that.

I don't get replies like this. I mean if you want to play another game, that's cool, go play another game.  I don't quite understand people's obsession with telling us they're off to play Warthunder. We don't have people saying they're off to play League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Battlefield 4 etc.
PC games play more than 1 game?!?! Well I'm amazed...

Whilst you might think that, this is actually pretty important for players who play both games. Spending free exp in World of Warplanes means your free exp in World of Tanks will be reduced as it's across both games.
Using premium or elite tanks/planes can be a really effective and quick way to rise through a tech tree in either game. I know for myself that most of my free exp generated from World of Warplanes will be used to help me progress through the World of Tanks tech trees quicker.

Ectar: Yes If I wanted to do the mission I could.  If I didn't do the mission well then I missed out on the chance for some credits.  Missions won't always apply to everyone. (If they were easy to do, the rewards would be much smaller).
I appreciate that some people have a millions and one excuses as to why they can only play a limited amount per day/week. Sadly we can't give you large rewards for little effort.

The EU teams did really good this year!

Ectar: "Weekly" not daily mission. 50 Russian tanks in a week. If you need 20 hours a day to do that well it's not really the missions that are the problem there.

Ectar: It's weekly missions that are separate from weekend events (and weekend missions) and separate from monthly missions! We haven't even announced what's coming later in the month are you're acting like you're somehow getting a bad deal or have been promised something differently. That's not really cool.
Whilst some players might not have a use for 10 repair kits please remember that selling them will give you 100,000 credits.

Well it's not regularly as it's 1 of 3 out of the possible matches you can get (if you're a Medium, TD, Arty or Heavy). You can basically end up in one of 3 different battles:

Battle tier 5 game with tier 3, tier 4 and tier 5
Battle tier 6 game with tier 4, tier 5 and tier 6
Battle tier 7 game with tier 5, tier 6 and tier 7

The matches won't always have an equal spread. So you could have all tier V for example  (that could be any battle tier but most likely battle tier 6).  Basically you have a one in 3 chance of being matched against tier VII tanks (but that's not a guaranteed average so don't expect to do 30 matches and only ever have 10 matches against tier VII. There is no internal system that makes sure you rotate through your battle tiers equally).

Ectar: Tier 6 and tier 7 are not supposed to be 30% cheaper, this was never stated on the EU article.  The NA article which was published a day earlier sadly had wrong information on it.

Indeed, I've said in the past we sometimes give too much and people start to expect it as the norm. You only need to drop into a weekend bonus thread to see how strong the attitude is when things become taken for granted.

Ectar: Please remember guys missions are something extra on top of weekend bonuses which also have their own missions.
50k damage = 1 day premium.
1 day premium = 50% credits and exp for every single match you do. The amount of matches is limited only by how much time you put in.
