Hokum15, on 19 March 2014 - 09:47 AM, said: No Android no me, Bye...Ectar: At no point have we ever said it won't be available for
Android. Initial closed beta testing is for iOS as it's one
device and much easier to account for. With Android you have
multiple different devices and specs to work with. Android IS
being worked on and IS planned. Sadly it's just not available
for testing right from the start.

and new physic for WoT . Ectar: The team involved with World of Tanks Blitz is totally
separate from World of Tanks PC version. The team who work on
World of Warship isn't even in the same office.

remarks about staff members which is getting extremely
petty. The only community team members who have been at
Tankfest have been myself in 2012 along with Supercharge and in
2013 it was Ipaul72. Age doesn't make any difference to how
capable someone is at their job and I'm amazed you can try to make
an issue about something like that when you have no idea what age
our staff members are. Personal experience from working in
the games industry for over 5 years now has shown me that the
people who claim to be older are the ones who act the most
childish. Age doesn't always = wisdom. Just please stop
Dronier, your recent posts are getting too personal and too
direct. This thread is to help players understand how to
remove warning points.

Soviet tanks were rather fond of what would be classed as
"premium ammo" - Again things like ammo etc can still be
adjusted or removed. Nothing is final yet until the test server is
finished.

trying to be like another game. historical mode is something
players have asked for a long time and this is the first attempt at
it. These are just plans and things can change in testing.

Team composition of both teams may differ regarding
the amount of vehicles and vehicle tiers but both teams will be
always equal considering their total balance weight. - The

Ectar, on 26 February 2014 - 05:14 PM, said: Automatic warning point removal Since about October 2013, the
majority of warning points added to a forum account for rule
violations have a limited time period. If a player is
given 1 warning point, this will be removed automatically after 3
months. If a player is given 2 warning points this will be removed
automatically after 6 months. If a player is given 3 warning
points, this will not be removed automatically. 3 warning
points are for major rule violations and it's very unlikely they
would be removed manually by Community Staff. you have to do
something pretty bad to get 3 warnings points for a single
violation that that's something which will stay with you. A
players individual warning points will only be visible to
themselves. (No other players can see your warning points). All
active warning points and expired warning points will always
be visible to Moderators and Community Team Members. This
information can be used when applying sanctions to accounts. (If
for example a player has had multiple warnings for the same reason
or constantly picks up new warnings when the old one expires for
example, the next warning point could be upgraded to a more severe
warning). Warning point review If you have picked up
warning points before October 2013 and wish to have these
removed/reviewed, please contact any member of the Community Team
who will be able to assist you with this. Please send a
PM with the message title "Warning Point Review". Please note
that it must be at least 3 months since you picked up your last

and it depends on the reason for your previous warning points.
Sometimes for examples players may be asked to wait a few more
months without picking up new warnings.

Please note
that it must be at least 3 months since you picked up your last
warning points. We cannot guarantee that all of a
player's warning points will be removed if they were gained prior
to October 2013, each account is reviewed on an individual basis
and it depends on the reason for your previous warning points.
Sometimes for examples players may be asked to wait a few more
months without picking up new warnings. Ectar: Warnings points issues BEFORE September 2013 are not
automatically removed. They need to be done manually and will only
be done so if you PM a Community Team members. We are not
searching through over 13 million forum accounts to see who has
warning points added to their account before that date. I
stated already there is no automatic system to do that either which
is why it relies on players with warning points contacting us.
I mean really.... Help me out here guys ok? This is
set up to help you, but requires you to do a small little thing
first.... LaterTimeLord - Pease read the above statement
regarding how to get your warning point removed. By that I
mean please PM a Community Team member who can sort you out.
Costarring I can see you got a warning point review since your
post. Please continue with the good behaviour :) CuP1D your points
are from 2011 so would not be auto removed. Please PM a Community
Team member who can sort you out.

have a unified message. I can't promise that there will be a
list of good mods/addons and bad mods/addons. What should
happen is that we have a clear message across all regions without

with an NA streamer and the mod pack the streamer
advertised/created. A list of ok/not ok mods has been
discussed for ages. What I can say is that all regions are
talking about it. As for publishing a list of all "approved mods"

officially approved mods, or no mods at all. Why is a list of
banned mods not enough? Simply because as long as a mod would not
be on the list, anyone could use it. For example if a clan member
makes his own unfair mod package and share it with his clan in
secret, it would be never banned and they would enjoy unfair
advantage forever. The only mods that could end up on the banned
list are the public mods that WG finds. Furthermore, once
the list of officially approved mods are released, WG has to make
sure that players are not using any mods that are not approved. The
game needs some sort of anti-cheat to detect any other mod outside
of the approve list, for the reason I have explained above about
non-public mods.

Creation of Derivative Works Wargaming.net allows the Participants

to Wargaming.net, bring undesirable changes to the gameplay of
Wargaming.net Games. The list includes, but is not limited to:
Transparent textures on game objects penetrated by game armament.
Replacement of game models with collision models. Explicit
highlighting of game objects that may seem dangerous as
non-hazardous (e.g., white textures on destroyed tanks). Any
changes to auto-aim (e.g., leading targets, automatic targeting of
vulnerable areas). Fixing for the player the position of the other
players that are not visible by the rules of the game visibility
(locking the position of the player that disappeared from sight on
map by tracer flares, display of the name of an enemy player that
inflicted a non-critical hit remaining out of sight, etc.). Fixing
the destruction of destructible objects on the minimap. Camera
which is not attached to the position of a player, a “free” camera,
able to move in three dimensions, and the use of artillery mode for
other types of vehicles. Using keyboard macros in game situations
(e.g., automation of work of “manual fire extinguisher”, except for
an automatic shot from a reloaded weapon). Indication of an aiming
point of other players which is different from its visual
representation based on the position of a standard, unmodified 3D
vehicle model operated by the player. Full or partial automation
sending a vehicle to battle, its operating and firing (use of
bots). Now if you're unsure about a mod. As yourself this
question. Does the mod do something for you that you normally would
never be able to tell in-game without someone telling you? Is
it showing your stuff on your minimap which normally you'd never
know without the notifications/indications/boarders? Is it
clearly giving you an in-game advantage over the enemy team or
enemy player you're facing off against (because you have way more
information about the enemy that they do about you with a stock
interface). Are you getting realtime/instant information from
the mod which you'd normally never know yourself?

until St Patrick's Day 2013. You can't really use the 1
time the Ferdinand was discounted by 50% 2 years ago then try to
claim that 50% off tier 8 tanks was previously a common
discount. Tier VII tanks were sometimes 50% discount but then
they started to be 30% discount when missions were added. Again
this was across all regions.

discounted by was 30% and that happened for the first time last
year. Tank discounts are now no longer as high as they were
in the past as players also have weekly and monthly missions (Which
everyone seems to forget when it's the weekend). That's
across all regions. If you look at NA and RU servers they're not
discounting any higher. Better stuff is to come in March and I'm
sure there is something for everyone. Compared to last year
players have more credits than ever and more opportunities to get
credits.

Imagine if the random matching making had the "fog of war"
that is in Clan Wars. - What this means is you don't know what
tanks the enemy team has until someone from your team spots them
in-game. Now imagine driving into a town map with a blizzard, your
visibility is low and you don't know what you're up
against. You spot an enemy medium moving to position, then a
heavy suddenly you realise there is an enemy TD lying in wait!
You target the TD and signal to your team for fire support as you
back up and the shells start flying. Who knows what else lurks
in the snow storm....

"Important" sign was also a good move, but it's better that you
have done that little extra and posted an announcement with WE WILL
NOT POST THE WEEKLY MISSIONS ANYMORE title. This is the
professional attitude and competence that makes WG EU so famous and
respected. You always deliver the important news for us on time
accurately. Especially when they are as important as this one.

missions in advance to plan. Isn't what a calendar is for?

also been axed? They are useful to check when for example you are
at a computer, but not with one that has WoT installed (like at
work). And can we get the mission info in the
calender? Same thing, no need to get it earlier, but to get the
actual mission data from the popups would be useful. Maybe
you need to implement some form of ticker to the main page, with
info on current specials and missions. Ectar: Weekend specials will still be announced via portal news.

isn't important for the next. It's possible we could have a
forum post that we update week to week. I'm more than happy
to trial that in the English section.
