Quemapueblos: It is because the USSR lend lease Valentine II has different MM than the British Valentine. Some how the two got added to the British version. Updating now

Quemapueblos: With patch 8.11, we will be removing battle tier XII matches and your matchmaking will not change dramatically. Previously, only tier X tanks were eligible for this tier but now matchmaking is free to distribute tier X tanks more quickly in order to reduce queue times for tanks that may see them in battle.   You can think of the “tier” of a match as being the maximum tier for a tank in that battle. When Matchmaker is building a battle, it won’t choose tanks over that tier. For example if the battle tier is VII, the highest tier tank that can be in a match is tier VII.   Matchmaker also enforces a maximum spread of 2 between tiers. So in battle tier VII matches, tanks can range from tier V to VII. This keeps players from seeing tanks that are way out of their league.   How were there tier XII matches when there are no tier XII tanks? Let’s take a tier X tank. The lowest tier match it can be placed in is tier X right? Tanks in that tier X match can range from tier VIII to tier X. In a tier XII match, tanks could hypothetically range from tier X to tier XII (and Tier VIII Light Tanks) but there are no tier XI or XII tanks, so matches are limited to only tier of tank available, tier X vehicles. With match tier XI, only tanks from tiers IX and X are eligible for that battle.   What does removing tier 12 mean for you? If you are a tier VIII light tank, you will no longer be put in games limited only to tier X tanks (because of tier VIII light tank’s special matchmaking). Now that the highest battle tier is tier XI, tier X tanks cannot find games where only tier X tanks are eligible.   How to read the match-maker chart The first step in reading the chart is to look at the battle tier. Once a battle tier is chosen, go down that column, and any vehicle tier/class that is colored in is eligible for a battle within that battle tier. There are a few exceptions for specific vehicles, and they are listed at the bottom of the full match-maker chart.   8.11 vs 8.10 Match-making: 8.11 VS 8.10 Vehicle Tier Vehicle Class / Battle Tier 8 9 10 11   Vehicle Tier Vehicle Class / Battle Tier 8 9 10 11 12 VIII Light Tanks   X X X   VIII Light Tanks   X X X X Medium Tanks X X X     Medium Tanks X X X     Heavy Tanks X X X     Heavy Tanks X X X     Artillery X X X     Artillery X X X     Tank Destroyers X X X     Tank Destroyers X X X     IX Medium Tanks   X X X   IX Medium Tanks   X X X   Heavy Tanks   X X X   Heavy Tanks   X X X   Artillery   X X X   Artillery   X X X   Tank Destroyers   X X X   Tank Destroyers   X X X   X Medium Tanks     X X   X Medium Tanks     X X X Heavy Tanks     X X   Heavy Tanks     X X X Artillery     X X   Artillery     X X X Tank Destroyers     X X   Tank Destroyers     X X X

{lang:macro__view_post}siropain, on Feb 11 2014 - 20:44, said: so does anyone know how the playoffs work? what days of the week are they? what map do they start with typically (i've heard it follows normal map rotation from the regular season.)? what kind of tournament format are the playoffs (bracket or round robin)??

dance210:
From the tournament page: Playoffs The winner of each round is determined as the first to 3 victories out of an unlimited number of battles. There is no 8-point draw rule. Each battle lasts 10 minutes max. with a 2 minute break between battles. The standard battle mode will be used.   Battles take place on Monday and Friday evenings, at 6:30 pm PST. The map selection will be announced before the playoffs begin; the maps will be picked from those used during the regular season. Playoffs are always bracket, not round robin or group play.   If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know.

You just killed the Tog, KV-1 through 5, and pretty much any other really slow tank that is heavy.  Point 3. KV-2 one shots allies who drive in front of you, as with the FV215b 183. This messes us over, instead of the people at fault.  Point 4. In point 3, you aim at the enemy tank and fire, the ally gets in the way after the mouse has been clicked, does this affect it too?   Summary: RIP extreme high alpha tanks

Trevzor:   Point 1: Multiple shots into your enemy tanks, regardless of the total amount of HP loss, will increase your rating. One shot from a high alpha tank does not necessarily equal many shots from a low alpha tank. Obvious malicious intent carries weight Point 2: Ramming damage does not work the way you think it works. Point 3: Partially negated by the first listing under "Less Serious Infractions" Point 4:  All the information I have been told points towards yes

View PostFlamingTier, on Feb 11 2014 - 10:03, said:   So basically, at the end of a match you won [as long as you got a kill], you're allowed to just randomly kill your teammates?   ... actually that might be a good way to punish people who whine in chat ;)

Trevzor:   Not true. Destroying friendly tanks will increase your rating live in the match, just like it does now. The reduction of your rating will not happen unless you win the match. If you rating exceeds what it takes to be suspended, then you will be automatically suspended mid battle, just like you can be now.

View PostWarStore, on Feb 11 2014 - 09:50, said:   This part worries me. Especifically regarding arty who will fire at the enemy even though the ally is brawling a vehicle. This happens all the time and usually leads to the ally getting tracked (plus HP + module damage) and then killed. This should be considered serious infraction for arty players.   Also, what happens to those people that keeps pushing and blocking us? We must let them do that unpunished, because it seems we are screwed if we try to defend ourselves.

Trevzor:   The current system punishes arty splash as full damage. The new system is merely taking into account the fact that it could be accidental by slightly reducing the rating increase. This does not apply to direct hits. Trolling in your artillery will still earn your account a suspension.

dance210: Hi!! So glad that you were able to come out to the live Gold league finals!! :teethhappy:   The guys who will be emailing the codes are most likely just getting back to the office today. I don't have a timeline for when they will be emailing codes, but I would suggest giving them a week or so. If you haven't gotten anything by then, feel free to shoot me a PM and I can check on it for you. Remember, it will most likely be going to the email that you gave them.   Oh, and the code does come with a low tier premium tank but it wasn't the T2 light :blinky:

Trevzor: Tankers! With the release of Patch 8.11 there will be a change in the Team Damage/Kill automatic moderation system. These changes are being made so that TD/TK will have more severe implications applied more quickly. The following is the general layout of our new system.   Reworked the team damage/ kill system: General provisions: The team damage and team kill control system has become slightly more strict, while at the same time more factors are taken into account:  penalty points for particular kind of violations are not accumulated as quickly (i.e. the punishment has been mitigated). The chance of account suspension increases with each consequent damaging of ally vehicles in one battle. Damaging your platoon mates now counts towards your rating Ramming allied tanks is also treated as foul play and an illegal action. The accumulated penalty points can be forgiven when destroying the enemy vehicles in battles where the ally team won. The term of first suspension has been reduced to one hour.   Improved the system of compensation to the subject of the offense: The repairs of vehicles of the damaged party are compensated. Apart from the repairs cost, the offender additionally pays the affected party 10% from the repair’s total amount.  The offender pays the affected party not only with credits received for the battle, but also with credits available on the account.   Serious infractions: If enemy base capture has been interrupted by an ally (either by ramming or by shooting.) If modules on the ally tank have been damaged (with help of ramming or hitting with a shell.) If the ally tank has been destroyed.   Less serious infractions (TK/TD rating will not increase as much): If an ally vehicle has been damaged accidentally while the player was aiming at the enemy tank. If an ally vehicle has been accidentally damaged with splash from a high-explosive shell. If after firing apart from damaging the enemy, the ally tank was damaged as well.   Keep in mind that bans that you are not able to appeal the restrictions set by our Automatic TD/TK Moderation system. They must be served to their full extent.   See you on the battlefield!

Sent many request ticket's to War Gaming, only to be told, that they are working on it, It's been a week and still nothing. Looks like nothing will be done until the 8.11 comes out. Way to go War Gaming you bunch of thieves , If I practice the same customer service, you have shown. I would be out of business in no time. I'm not sure how a organization, like War Gaming can offer a product and service and not deliver, and get away with it. In my world, if I take someone's money and not fulfill my end of the business transaction, I would be deemed a thief.

Jewel_Thief: Hi there,   You sent in multiple tickets about the same issue-- which makes it very difficult for us to get back to you in a timely fashion. Please send in one ticket per issue, and we will get to your ticket just as soon as we can. As for your tickets, I'll have them "merged" and get someone to take a look today. :)   Best, ~JT
