Lert: Yes, it is totally and completely a weakness to use the tools
available to everyone, provided to you by the people who decide
what you can and cannot do during a game. Oftentimes
it might be unnecessary (128mm APCR at a BatChat? Really?) and
othertimes it might work against you (critical hit on my tracks
with 100mm HEAT where AP would have gone right through) but
weakness? No. Besides, they're your credits that you're
shooting. It doesn't affect me in the least. Think about it:
- Using premium when regular would've gone through as well?
Then who cares what round was used against you. What difference
does it make to you? - Using premium when regular wouldn't have
gone through? Well done you. You used the tool available when
necessary.

The source says it can

requisitos de missão, em que precisa ficar nos 10 melhores mesmo
que por exemplo o 9º e o 10º tenham xp baixa? É verdade que dando a

condicionantes, seria o mais equilibrado e simples, mas para
efeitos de debate, que formas teriamos de poder premiar apenas quem
tivesse realmente contribuido?

Lert: Each shot that hits its target has at least 3 rolls of RNG:
- Where it goes in the aiming circle, according to a gaussian
distribution. - How much pen it has when it strikes the target, +/-
25% - How much damage it does if it does make it into the target,
+/- 25% More rolls of RNG are very possible, for example
when the shell also hits a module, when it encounters spaced armor,
etc. Basically, every separate 'event' carries its own roll.

a TD. Except that the difference in time between 'click' and
'effect' in an artillery is usually a couple of seconds, and that
same time difference is usually a second or less in direct
fire. That same post-death analysis to which you refer
is just as valid against indirect fire as it is against direct.

the results. I can't recall if this was pre or post arty nerf. Of
19 rounds fired at me in my Tier IX and X games, 11 missed
entirely. Only five were actual direct hits (Of which three came
from direct fire in a game in which my heavy was engaging a park of
four artillery pieces). Three rounds killed me, only one from a
generally 'healthy' state. (And if you think having an XVM marker
on your head makes you a target, you should see what happens when
you have a WGA clan tag and my name.) Of late I've been
streaming longer sessions, albeit rarer. I'll try to make a note to
do the same thing over an even longer period next time I stream,
though my unscientific observation is that I've not noticed any
particular increase in my being blown up by artillery in the last
year.

The_Chieftain: Just means you have to alter your threat priority
evaluation. I suspect artillery is very low on the threat priority
evaluation on Himmelsdorf, and other types of tanks move up the
list instead. I reject your analysis based on a claim of
'oppression.' I certainly don't consider myself oppressed.

un-necessarily. This is supposed to be a fairly friendly and
welcoming place for all players to chat about the game. Nothing you
have said indicates why an opinion on the game effect of artillery
should overrule the simple concept of "Be considerate of others."
It doesn't make your argument any stronger or weaker. If you must
consider the effect of artillery in the game as an abuse (to which
I also object), at least there's relevance because artillery -is- a
part of the game as per the game design.

Lert: Every battle you earn credits and XP. To use that XP to
upgrade your tank, click on the little 'research' button to the
right of the screen in the garage. You'll get a window similar to
this:
The green buttons with stars are
modules that haven't been researched yet. Click on them to research
them. The yellow buttons are modules that have been researched but
not purchased and mounted. Click on a yellow button to buy and
mount the module. The checkmark signifies modules that you have
mounted on your tank. In order to buy the next tank in line,
you have to research it first. In my screenshot, that is the tank
called '110', that has not been researched yet. I have to grind my
IS-2 to get the XP necessary to unlock the 110, before I can buy
it. (A note on mounting modules: some modules are heavier
than others, and can't be mounted until the upgraded tracks have

tier 7 is a very, very powerful tank in its own right. Don't stare
yourself blind on the historical reputation of the tank, that's a
result of it going up against what basically amounts to stock tier
5's.

Lert: MM is fair. IT screws everybody over equally, over time. Can't get
more fair than that. Cherrypicking results over a small sample size
of games isn't representative of the scale MM is fair in. As
for the XP/damage 'discrepancy' - there is so much more that goes
in to the XP calculation than just raw damage output. Things like
who spotted the targets? Were they lower or higher tier than you?
etc etc etc.
