Subject: New missions are a marketing scam nothing more

Everyone know the MM system is rigged and todays new list of
missions show clear proof even to the dim witted masses that always
say wargaming is fair and not profit oriented to exclude all else.
for instance playing a russian tier 6 tank type doesnt
matter the new missions are to destroy 20 German tanks and 30k
damage to German tanks .. this is all find and dandy but you have
this lil thing called MM which isnt cut and dry it reads what
mission is available for any given tank or type be it a generic
mission or a mission for lets say the T55a .. and it will select
the enemy you face in order to deny you best the ability to fulfill
that mission.. about 20 battles into this day so far in tier 6 and
you know what I dont see ?? ... ?? can you even guess ? ....
GERMAN tanks maybe 1 or 2 every other 3rd battle not the 5-7 you
normally see every battle at these tiers ? you know how often you
see all the stat padders in T67 tier 5 battles ? grab a tank with a
mission to kill American tanks and make it a tier 5 and wallah ...
bet you see maybe 3 T67 in 20 battles The MM system is a
tool wargaming uses to make you plant your keister in your chair in
front of your computer to frustrate you and make you spend money ..
load gold so that one german tank on enemy team you actually kill
to complete a mission .. to make you buy credit packs because you
dont have time to grind credits in order to spam gold rounds
... thats why gold rounds only cost credits now because the
players that really really need to spam gold rounds cannot be
bothered with grinding credits and now buy them because they might
only have 1 hour a day or weekend to play .. wargaming took
out a patent on the Mm system detailing how it does this simply
google it

Subject: [Supertest] Nuevos Mapas - "Minsk" y "Polonia"
Link on message: #11700346
Link on message: #11700346
Felipe6666Original: ¡Saludos, Comandantes!

ajustes fianles. ¡Mucha suerte en el campo de batalla!

Subject: [ST] Two New Maps: Minsk & Poland
Link on message: #11700302
Link on message: #11700302
Gnomon: Hey, everyone! Just wanted to talk a bit about some new
Supertest new that you probably got from the thread
title. Two new maps are entering the Common Test today:
Minsk (not the final name) and the Poland-themed one (name
pending). First, Minsk is a city map based on the center of the
Belarusian capital. The Poland-themed map is a hybrid map (a small
Polish town and its surroundings). We tested several
prototypes of these maps before. Today’s versions are pre-final:
their look and, most likely, their gameplay scenarios will change
little from now until their release. The objectives of the current
tests are fine-tuning the balance and making playing on these maps
comfortable and enjoyable. We’re going to check the interaction
between attack routes, the efficiency and gameplay appeal of
various strategic positions, and the win/loss percentages for both
sides.
MinskThis city map recreates the central part of Minsk at the beginning of the 1970s. Though we changed some details for the sake of gameplay, the Plošča Pieramohi (the Victory Square) and the circus building are very realistic. Other houses and landmarks are also recognizable for those who are familiar with Minsk.
The map has three gameplay zones: Dense building blocks near the Plošča Pieramohi protect you from TD fire, and favor well-armored vehicles and close-to-mid-range fighting. You can also try to snipe (if you’re bold enough to drive on the straight and broad streets). The zone formed by Gorky Park and the Svislach river embankment is covered in trees and bushes and has several small hills. It’s a tricky place: enemies can hit you from almost every direction, but playing wisely will let you support allies on the flanks or sneak-up on your opponents undetected. The Praspiekt Niezaliežnasci (Independence Avenue) / Kupala Street intersection is good for mobile tanks. Take firing positions quickly or try to flank the opposing side. Minsk Screenshots

PolandThis map combines open spaces with some brawling zones. It’s not based on any historical location in particular, but the environment is undoubtedly Polish: large fields, lots of vegetation, small village houses centered around a tall Catholic church building (kościół). A small brick factory sits right in the middle of this location.
There are three gameplay zones on the map:The brick factory is for those driving vehicles with some hefty armor. It’s protected from tank destroyer fire but you may see a shell coming from another part of the map. Control the factory to help your allies extend their attacks on neighboring routes or to defend should you lose the flanks. The dried riverbed splitting the factory is a good location for fast light tanks and for vehicles with good gun depression: here you can secure a flank fairly quickly. The central part of the map can be used to spot enemies at the beginning of the battle. It suits light tanks and fast mediums. A ditch goes from the factory to the village; use it to spot the opponents or to flank them when they least expect it. The field is surrounded by hills with some concealing shrubbery offering nice striking positions and a safe passage to the village. The village is a place for every vehicle class: lots of cover (both destructible and indestructible), bushes, and shoot-throughs. Capture it to assist your team at the factory or to set up a final assault on the enemy base. Poland Screenshots
When Are They Coming? As you can see we’re approaching the finishing line with both maps—we’re on the fine-tuning stage, after all. So, they will appear in the game in foreseeable future. The exact release can’t be properly assessed: we can’t foresee how much time it will take to polish Poland and Minsk. Let us know what you think about the new maps!
Please follow the news, and thanks for stopping by! PS: I'll have some videos of the maps for y'all soon.

Subject: [Superteste] Novos Mapas: Minsk e Polônia
Link on message: #11700271
Link on message: #11700271
Outras
A parte central do mapa

Wow!!! The fun is back in WOT. Just what the Doctor
ordered. This little beast is a blast to play. And it is still
stock!!! So now I have a question. Are there any Italian tanks that
sucketh to the maximus? Ones that should be skipped-by at all costs
to retain your sanity? I looked in the Wiki and there isn't much
nice said about the tier 7 tank. That's the only one that
seems to get a negative review. Nothing there
for the Pantera, but I have encountered that tank, and

Get the “Hiders” in Pz1Cs. Get 2 hunters in tier 9 LT or fast MTs.
Find a map with lots of hiding places (Kharkov and Ghost Town are good ones)
Everyone meet in the middle of the map.
Everyone hit the “V” key to turn off the HUD (and keep it off).
Give the hiders 2 min to go hide, then unleash the hunters.
A LOT of fun as Hunters drive right by a hidden Pz1C or chase one and try to shoot it with no HUD! Slasher Movie
Map: Ensk
1 team: Fifteen Pz1Cs
1 Team: Two Cruiser 2s with derps (or 3 Hetzers).
Pz1C’s no HUD and no firing.
Cruiser 2s Hud and Firing.
The slow Cruisers hunt the fast Pz1Cs on a small map. Last Pz1C is the winner.

time will screw the "rules" and just put you in a match. When
I went up the Italian line (tier IV-VII) I was still top tier twice

for a long time. But do to WG ignoring my request to simply
give me back my Personal Reserves and Premium Day which I paid for
due to their site going down I will not take the chance to give
money to a business that simple refused to be reasonable. If
I was just playing that day I would even understand not getting the
premium day back but their lack of indifference is
intolerable. And before anyone says anything about how much I
paid for the reserves let me tell you I am on a fixed income ( and
a damn low one at that ) so every penny counts. This is my
only means of enjoyment lately and I feel I've been slighted and
told to take it and shut up. Well, I'm sure they won't
go broke without my money but they won't be buying any coffee and
donuts either. To all who read this I apologize for the rant
but had to get this out.TeriyakiTanker: Basically if you play two days or more a week and you are
buying single days of premium each time you will actually give WG
more money compared to buying a month or more so that is something
to consider.
