setup? Choose mobility and run Rotation mech. Put Hardening in
first bonus spot, and put purple Bonds ventilation you got for
Christmas Ops in last spot.For open, bushy maps run vents in first
spot, rotation mech and vertical stab. Rhino does not need aiming
device more than it needs stabilizer and rotation

chevrons for Division 3, 23 for Division 2, 25 for Division 1, for

for Division 3, 31 for Division 2, 34 for Division 1, for a total
of 94. That's a 34% increase in the number of chevrons
required.And the fact that the rewards have stayed at 6,150 bonds
instead of going back to 8,000 (which is where they were back when
the mode was 15v15), while lengthening the grind really rubs me the
wrong way. Some good changes were finally being made to
Ranked... (10v10 format, less arty and wheelies, less camping TD's,
shorter grind), but this is a giant step in the wrong direction in
my opinion.

Draschel: You are doing quite nicely actually. People do alot less than you,
believe it or not. But 3-marks for tier X tanks are going to be
difficult.Work on your WZ120. You are getting there. The biggest
key for 3 marks has to do with consistency. Skill4ltu content
mentions quite alot about marking.

practice with. Coaching, lol, you folks are terrifying and
amusing at the same time. Have you seen the comments, the armchair
generals. In a single game, a player can be to fast, then too slow,
too far back, then too far forward. Sometimes multiple times. Maybe
try to not make the same mistake again. (or try the same positive
move). Just because it takes 50 games for a
lesson to sink in, that does not make the lesson undesired.

context and meaning. What are you even doing in this thread? I mean
exactly what is your hope or contribution? You clearly state you

Draschel: The Tier X has decent track traverse and terrain crossing stats so
all it needs is some HP/T to make it more active. Since it is
an WZ.....113G..... how about start by giving it 113 heavy tank 750
horsepower engine? Buff the muzzle velocity to 800.

Draschel: That isn't a problem, where people were taking the time to
shoot under a tank for splashing HE damage. That part isn't
something I condemn. But it can certainly still be done by aiming
at tank spots. Shooting an enemy tank location, that has 30-50mm
armor with HE rounds, generally still yields stinging HE damage.
Super Conquer, 60 TP will still feel the bite, if something like
Sheridan or Type 5, shot HE and struck the them in these spots.
Although well sloped area, they are areas only covered by 40-70mm
armor. Areas that can be reached frontally too. The
problem is the rarity. For every one guy splashing the ground to
damage upward, there are 15 center of mass HE spammers. Its often
the 1 guy doing things right, paying penance for the laziness of
others.

Draschel: I am not complaining about FV splashing me when they should be
penetrating me.I am complaining about the rampant, obnoxious pre
1.12 HE splashing against tanks in impossible position, for
ridiculous damage, that even if it were Jag Pz E100 with 420 HEAT
pen it still wouldn't work. This breaks the game. The
problem was all HE spam. Thats why all HE spam was changed, not
just 60TP. All.When Type 4 and 5 were so problematic, they took the
nerfbat and dealt with it. When FV4005 was seen as problematic,
they took the nerfbat and dealt with it. But it came down to the
point, where WG saw the light, and didn't narrow it down to single
tanks anymore, but rather HE spam in general. And this HE
re-balance has been a blessing and has definitely increased
game-skill and game health. When someone 3-marks a Fochs 155,
firing 3 consecutive HE shells centre of mass for 1,200 combined,
instead of having to deal with bad gun handling and walking away
with only 1 pen for 750.....it is a problem. And this problem is
now gone.

Draschel: 60TP, E100, 110E4, Fochs 155, Type 5, VK7201, FV183, FV4005
can all do it. 60TP was just the most common in Ranked doing
it. Hull down heavy tanks like Kran, Chieftain, Super
Conquer always risk being damaged. Not generally, by the enemy they
are attacking, but by flanks / arta / Premium shells. Super
Conquer, Chieftain, and Kran do not have side turret armor
like IS7, it isn't 210mm. If you believe Hull down heavy tanks are
invulnerable, by oh boy. Chieftain isn't 279E. It can't sit in the
open and get shot by 6 players. 279E can, even without hulldown.
Hulldown gameplay isn't dynamic, when its a hulldown like
Himmelsdorf 200m from cap. But even Westfield hulldown is
susceptible to multiple avenues of attack, and needs paying
attention to make suere you aren't taking flank
damage. Good players can and do play bad tanks. They
just don't like to. Kran is an one trick pony. Ranked
and maybe pubs. Its a CW flop. Chieftain is totally unbalanced.
Good players aren't people that say Chieftain is fine as is. What
game are you playing?

churchill50: Maybe that was true once upon a time, but it's definitely not
since the T-44/T-44-100 got massive buffs a few years ago. They're
both super solid tanks now.

best tanks in the line at this point, followed by the Obj 268v4,
and then the SU-101. The SU-100M1 is the best tank, but it can get
screwed over by matchmaker. The Obj 263 isn't quite as good as the
100M1 tier for tier, but gets much better matchmaking. At the end
of the day, the Obj 263 is my favorite tank in the line. The
key to playing the 268v4 line is the right amount of aggression.The
mobility, frontal armor, and decent guns (good pen, decent gun
performance, good alpha) allow you to play pretty aggressively.But
you need to know when to stop. The low traverse speed, mediocre HP,
bad DPM, and lack of a turret can get you into trouble really
quickly.Most of the time, you need at least some support to make
sure you're not flanked/circled. But you also want to be at the
front using your armor and gun to their best effect. Used
well, they're Stalin's sledgehammers. Used poorly, they're easy to
kill.

Jaguarz: You literally contradict yourself in the very next line and
just because you couldnt care less about the other players on your
team and their efforts to win the game doesnt mean others are so
selfish and vacuous. Its nothing to lose sleep over for sure
but with each of your posts you contradict yourself so we can make
the assumption that you add no value to the side and are protesting
that others WANT you to be of benefit. If you dont want to add
benefit to the side, couldnt care about the game, couldnt care
about the outcome, couldnt care about your side why are you a)
playing a multiplayer game at all instead of a stand alone one and

Jaguarz: I would say nice strawman but it really isnt, its just
weak I play for fun, I dont find it fun to be a drain on
others or to cause the TEAM to lose. I didnt advocate lessons
in a video game, I advocated sharing knowledge, Im sorry that you
take exception to such a concept and I wish you well in your
pursuit of ignorance. Personally I find it bewildering that people
would even want to play a game without understanding its
fundamentals (when aware of them) and continue to get annihilated
over and over, thus fostering the gross misconception that everyone
on your side is garbage and the other team are all cheaters but to
each their own.

churchill50: It's not as good as it was, especially since it's almost strictly
worse than the Kranvagn in the "autoloading heavy with derpy gun
but great DPM and fast clip" role. The T57 Heavy still has the edge
in pen, clip potential, and DPM, but the Kran wins in alpha, gun
depression, and turret armor, which makes it a better tank.The Vz
55 is a bit of a different beast, but still does take some of the
T57's limelight. But, that doesn't mean the T57 Heavy isn't
still solid. 1600 clip potential in 6 seconds with a ~20-21 second
reload is still beastly, especially when it comes with the pen to
really go up against anything (whereas the Kran has to be careful
about engaging some tanks frontally because of its low pen). It
excels in close-range brawls where it can put the monstrous
combination of an autoloader and 3,400 DPM to use. Just be
careful about engaging at long range, where the gun handing will
get to you. It did get some help in this area with the introduction
of Equipment 2.0. Running some combination of Vents, V-Stab, IAU,
and IRM really helps the gun. But, it's still not reliable at mid
to long range. It's a bit of a one-trick pony.

churchill50: How exciting or boring it is to play, and whether any
individual player likes the tank is completely separate from how
good the tank is. It's easily among the best tier 8 premium
heavies, alongside the Obj 703 II and Renegade. It has decent
mobility (especially once you unlock the Mobility slot and put
Turbo on it), decent armor, and a monstrously broken gun. That's
literally all you need.

Draschel: Invalid.Clan Wars naturally leans towards being
stale. Lets look at a history of meta. Before 279E,
Chieftain, 260, 277.....there were teams of Super conquer,
WZ11111115A. And before those, the weird Maus and Type 5 and 268 V
4 meta. Before those, it comprised 110E5 and 113. Before that,
FV215B and 113. For mediums, 907 has been a powerful
part of CW for a long time, but 140 has always been an useful
enough replacement. After the re-works, Leopard and STB1 are
powerful tools used for specific roles. 430U before its nerf pretty
much took 113s job alongside 5A. Before all this, TVP was popular
as skirmisher clip-tank alongside combatant meds like
907/140. CW gravitates to the best, most flexible units
available. You use the right tools for the job.

rather than the game doing it for you. Changing the crew
system, in any form is not even close to the same level. Its not
fundamentally changing how the game is played. Similarly
comparisons to WoWs Paragon System / Naval Training Center are also
silly, because the biggest problem of that system was that you had
to actually sell and regrind entire lines to benefit from it,
which isnt a thing required by Crew 2.0 The actual fact is
Crew 2.0 was a net gain for crews of nearly every skill level, and
no crews suddenly became less competitive outside of the elite
advancement, which almost no one would have actually had enough
progress in for the bonus to be at all meaningful. Elite
Advancement goes away or is toned down further and there are really
no problems.

Jaguarz: You miss the actual point of the comparisons, its got
literally nothing to do with what goes into the game, it doesnt
even matter if crew 2.0 makes the game better as NGE arguable did,
the point is, as with NGE, about changing a core aspect of a mature
game and how it can only lead to player loss. There is zero chance
of expansion in World of Tanks now, the game is in retention mode,
its a fact of life but people dont like core changes late in a
games life ESPECIALLY when they come with a pay to win function
which you ignore, this is a massive psychological red flag for
people and look how many claim this game is P2W as it is. A
fun point of comparison is City of Heroes, this is a game that
launched nearly 20 years ago and shut down nearly a decade ago, one
of its creators Jack Emmert hated what the game became and went off
and made Champions Online and is now heading DCUO. The code for CoH
got leaked and now the largest private server has more players than
DCUO and CO combined every single day. This can be attributed to
Emmert being an egotist and his vision is not marketable yet keeps
getting the lead in Superhero MMOs on the back of the most
successful one which was in spite of him but also to the fact that
people LIKED the core and it didnt need updating or changing .
Everyone keeps trying to reinvent the wheel when it isnt needed and
Crew 2.0 is the same, people wont come back or start anew in WOT on
the back of it but they sure as hell will leave. Theres no gain to
be had with Crew 2.0, you cant change people.

honestly, and yes honesty can be hard to swallow. People in
great clans with those high Elo ratings, and teams full of 279E,
Chieftain, 260, 907 usually worked to get them. I am sure a few bad
apples paid for them, without a doubt but most worked for them.
Tanks like 279E, 260 are available for all, no clan necessary.
Tanks like T100LT, Super Conquer, Conquer GC, Strv 103, 268 V 4,
EBR105, 110E3, 277, STB1, Leopard 1 - other popular CW tanks are
also available simply completing tech trees. Grind out Field mods,
unlocking 2 Bonus slots very important for most users as Bonds
Equipment is extremely costly. Hardware is one thing, but equipping
both inside and out of your hardware is another. Fielded tanks
should have minimum 3 skill crews, Core / BIA / Major qualifier
(camo or rep) .....the more the better. The right equipment,
directives, Rations, Field Mod are very important. For instance
hardening on teams of Super Conqueror and 110E3 tremendously boosts
HP over teams with heavies not running it, turbochargers on 277
make them fast like fat mediums, Optics & CVS combinations on
T100LT. Individual skill does matter, but in Clan Wars a
team acting in unison is more important. Pre-planning can be easily
done in Map-tactic. Your team needs proper channels for conducting
communication, and obedience in following communication. Best
served by Discord, TS -> not in-game chatter or typing. Callers
need to be confident and natural problem solvers, for solutions are
needed to problems that arise as games unfold, rather than rigidly
holding onto a plan prior to battle. Consult specialists
in the matter concerning maps, map positions, map goals, team
composition - Dakillzor, Haglar, _Serbian come to mind as
resourceful. Easily accessible from youtube or Google
searches. Don't complain. Get better. Rather
than 'wanting' a hand out, you should be seeking to better yourself
(and yourselves) CW, by definition, means competition.
When you compete, competition maybe either easy or tough. The best
you may do is dealing with it, and not be a defeatist and resort to
complaining.

Jaguarz: Crew 2.0 or the Paragon system as it was known when the same dev
tried to force it onto World of Warships is a completely
unmitigated disaster. Why was it even introduced? It was in
introduced because the current crop of developers are jealous that
the original WOT devs have money fights on their megayachts with a
harem of supermodels and someone came up with this wheeze for a
short term cash burst from whales seeking to buy an advantage over
other players. Unfortunately for them WOT is a decade old game
and while it still makes more money than the GDP of a small country
it is long past expansion mode and is currently in retention mode,
that is where it needs to retain players for as long as possible.
Crew 2.0 is a shameless cash grab and will serve only to alienate
players which means there are less people buying product and while
the whales will cover that short term long term its revenue will
fall as less and less players buy their core products. There is no
benefit to it, there is no plus to players new or old, only to
those with deep pockets and that doesnt fly, people will walk and
do something better with their time, or if not better at least
different. There is no gain in changing a core system of a
decade old game at all, Star Wars did it with their New Game
Experience and managed to trash a MMO based on the most viable IP
in existence at a time when there was no competition. They
couldnt push this mess onto warships which is a much less valuable
revenue stream than tanks, this disaster will never make it past
the accountants no matter how much the current dev lead has eyes on
a new porshe because running a studio and threatening the bottom
line are two very distinct things. The only way crew 2.0 could
reach live is if it is so neutered it makes putting it live
completely pointless.
