ARGO: I am sad to say that I have been witness to a new trend of cheating that I think is far more disturbing than even team killing. I do not know if this new act has a name but for the sake of this discussion I will refer to this kind of player as a “”.
Here’s what they do: Players are in battle, and when it comes down to both sides running to cap. They pretend to be assisting with the cap and as you’re sitting at the enemy base capping it appears to be a draw until the “” deliberately shoots you to break the tie thus giving the enemy team the win and all your team gets a nice big repair bill.
I have now seen this in action 3 times and it is done so quickly that by the time you go to grab a print screen the battle ends and switch screens. I wish I could have gotten a name but again it’s done quickly.
This is disgraceful and intolerable. I can only hope that they are caught by someone because an act like this ruins the enjoyment of the game for all of us.

So is this a good thing for the game? It's a FANTASTIC thing for me as a player, but seems counter to the dev's direction with the tech/equipment grind.
I fear we'd see many teams like this:

ARGO: Not quite, As I said earlier, Premium tanks would NOT give out any credits NONE so you will still have to use your tiger to get your creds. Also and in addition Premium tanks ahould also have levels for instance, A Matilda would not earn what a Churchill makes in free XP so that would keep things a bit in perpsective and make the more expensive Premiums attractive to players and profitable to Devs. Those who cannot afford the Churhill may be more inclined to shell out less gold for the Matilda.......Again this is speculative but I think a good idea.

ARGO: Also remember that gold tanks are not all that powerful thus after a while players want to dump them for lack of fun. However the Devs could put a bigger price tag on a gold tank and also when the player wants to dump the tank it should be sold for free XP not credits because again, another reason for buying the premium. When this game does go live players will be able to auction tanks as well so those gold tanks will become very important to the up and commers who need XP.
Heres a would be example of how a gold tank would work.....Remember, it's just a ficticious, flash in the pan idea so don't hange me. Feel free to tweak the idea and kick it around....
Churhill new price = 5000 gold "Devs need $$$ too"
Tank makes lets say 400 free xp per battle for win, 100 for a loss "You still got to work a little for it"
Tank can be sold to depot for 2500 free XP
Tank can be auctioned to another player for either Free XP , Gold, or a tank trade. Reason: A premium should have more options than a regular tank.

merig00: Well yeah, the larger the pool of people the better matching can be made :)
That's one of the reasons why platoons are currently limited to 3 people - it would be really difficult to match them correctly with only several thousand people online.

ARGO: It's amazing what boredom can do, I came up with two different ways to have fun in WoT.
1. Hide and go boom: Open up a training room, Put you and a friend alone in Himmelsdorf pick which one of you will be "it" and start the game. One is hidden, the other is searching for him "no capping allowed" but you can use it to tease the other tank into knowing the general location of where you are.
2. The guantlet: Open training map to Prohovka, on your side all tanks, the other side all arty. Now you let all the arty line up and down each side of the map and when they are ready, the idea is each tank one at a time attempts to go straight across the map to the other flag without being killed by arty rain. "no shooting the arty".
Feel free to add your own ideas too.

ARGO: First off I'd like to thank the Devs for a really fun game.
Now I would like to ask if it's at all possible to have ammo costs removed from training mode because it's very pricey for heavies to train when your shooting 1,200 creds a shell. I know you had made repairs free and I am grateful for that but as I said those shells add up and besides, If tanks really were training they wouldn't really be shooting live ammo at each other.

Technically, we can release v. 0.5.5 update even this week. It's not a problem. Some delay is caused by our press-tour.

As promised, updating is now almost simultaneous, both here and in Ru.

MrVic: Keep in mind the overall population is not high and if your having that trouble not sure why. I see plenty in matches I play in. Tho you might try submitting as a bug instead of this route..But you might be experiencing a local bug or a recent change bug. Also the population when your playing might of shifted to other tiers. It is a beta these are the things we are here to test and see if its making errors ect.

why was the exp changed? and could you share with us how you all came to the conclusion it had to be lowered? and why is the curve so high? 4k for engine upgrade, 90k for tank upgrade seems a massive jump it doesn't seem consistent.

merig00: Well there is very little content in the beta right now. So if you had historical battles, clan wars, team challenges, hardcore mode and several other ways to "grind" would you find the 60 or so hours acceptable?
You would have to go to Overlord for that question. However I can say that it's not the first time the exp changed in the beta. Also numbers on different tanks change pretty much every patch.
And I'm not sure why would you want to compare modules to tanks. But most of the time cost of modules highly depends on the number of tanks you can use that module on.

ARGO: First off I would like to say that I am awed by the Yorkshire boys abilities to debate. I salute you Sirs; you handled your point with the precision of a master swordsman and stuck to your views with the tenacity of a terrier. :Smile_great:
But.....
Although I too can sympathize with Koffee's plight, I must say that this is still a BETA version and that I too hope that the Devs look deeply and carefully on your issues. However making a final judgment of the game based purely on it's BETA form is if nothing else "premature". It is like complaining of how the steak tastes while it is still grazing in the field. Before you quit playing, at least see what the end product is. My guess is that even then it will need some tweaks and if there are still issues, I will guarantee that the players wallets will do the talking.
