ARGO: Any KV player with any experience in one would tell you the 107mm
is the best gun for that tank overall. Now I am not trying to dis
the 152mm Derp gun or 122mm lovers here but cost of ammo wise, rate
of fire, and hitting at distance puts the 107 head and shoulders
above the rest.

Based on my play style, do you think I'll like Med Tanks? Are they viable / useful and what kind of role could I expect to be in? And lastly, in your opinion what nation has the best Medium Tanks, end game?

ARGO: 1. Yes, it is possible to hit a "un-lit" tank and kill it too if
thye have not moved and you already have a bead on them.
2. Well as SPGs go, I would not want to bring a Bison into a tier 10 match up but pretty much any SPG past tier V should do damage even on higher tiers. Shop around for A SPG that suits your needs, rate of fire and mobility is a plus.
3. No, you do not need premium to play in CW but since you benefit from the extra EXP why would you ever not want it.
3. As for a good support medium? I use my KV13 with the 122mm derp because it has the speed manueverability and firepower to be a good wingman to your heavies, I let the heavies engage and sneak around them and put a few into their engines, the 122mm does well at this and I also use it when bored to arty hunt. Why not a T54, T44, or Panther? KV13 is a cheap fix and inexpensive. As for mediums in general....Get yourself a wide variety, you can never have enough of them.
Now here is a piece of advise you didn't ask for.....It never hurts to have some Premium gold tanks in your arsenal, they make money and are cheap to fix. The more your have the quicker you can climb the trees using their extra EXP they make and the best part is you don't need a premium account to get premium pay and exp with them.

ARGO: I have the KV13, It is what I consider one of the best all around
mediums. I have mine perminently equiped with the 122mm derp and I
use it to make short work of arty or huled down position by running
in behind them during a fire fight while they are occupied. The
KV13 does not get the kind of attention a T54, Pershing, T44 gets
but it can hit almost as hard with the 122 and does have the
speed.

Overlord: It might be logical from logical point of view, but not justified
by balance needs. It would practically mean extremely quick and
easy access to a tier 9 heavy.

We are looking for players who will achieve the best results in “Assault” and “Defence” categories from now till 06.00 UTC (6.00am UTC) of the 12th of August.
Attention! If after reading the rules, you have some doubts or questions, feel free to ask in the discussion topic. Your questions will be added to the special F.A.Q. section of rules.
Important notes about the contest:
- Every player can take part in the event;
- If player for some reasons cannot submit battles for himself, he can ask another user to do it. Any complaints on the acts of the asked player won't be considered;
- Player with the biggest amount of MVP points wins;
- MVP Points earning rules are specific for each category;
- Players can submit up to 3 battle results for each category, each battle result must include the end battle window screenshot and the garage with the end battle pop-up message screenshot (see the example);
- Battles can be performed on different vehicles and they may not be performed in a row, just submit the best you can.

We are looking for players who will achieve the best results in “Assault” and “Defence” categories from now till 06.00 UTC (6.00am UTC) of the 12th of August.
Attention! If after reading the rules, you have some doubts or questions, feel free to ask in the discussion topic. Your questions will be added to the special F.A.Q. section of rules.
Important notes about the contest:
- Every player can take part in the event;
- If player for some reasons cannot submit battles for himself, he can ask another user to do it. Any complaints on the acts of the asked player won't be considered;
- Player with the biggest amount of MVP points wins;
- MVP Points earning rules are specific for each category;
- Players can submit up to 3 battle results for each category, each battle result must include the end battle window screenshot and the garage with the end battle pop-up message screenshot (see the example);
- Battles can be performed on different vehicles and they may not be performed in a row, just submit the best you can.
- The only change permitted to be implemented on screenshots is the concealment of gold, credits and free XP amount on the garage screenshot (see First Battle garage screenshot in the example);
- Player must calculate the amount of MVP points he has and post it in the top of the entry message;
- Training, company and clan wars battles won’t be considered;
- To take a screenshot press Ctrl+PrtScr. If your keyboard does not have such keys, you are advised to use any free software. They all are saved in the general in-game folder;

ARGO: No, he is not lying. I have both tanks and have had it happen to me
too so do not point the finger of accusation until you have
reasearched ALL the facts. In fact I have bounced 2 point blank
shots from an IS4's 130mm off of a A-20 and 3 of a Ram II. Just
because the numbers look good on paper does not mean they apply
100% of the time in-game. There are a million upon million
different factors that at any given time that can change things
depending on the circumstances.

Overlord: The same goes for the opposite situatuions. If the performance gap
is significant, the adjustments will allow. Each case is reviewed
individually.

Tanitha: TK's are not reported, the system handles it.. There is nothing

ARGO: Yes, I got his point...I am just doing a bit of my own reiteration
seeing how this "kill stealing" fad term is used quite to often and
with all the finger pointing as to these "kill stealers" I think
it's most important to keep reminding ourselves how this a war game
and that winning / surviving is the goal overall and not who gets
the kills. Just for the record, when I am using my priest and I see
a Maus bearing down on me I do not care who kills it, I just want
it dead and fast.
