worked on. We are focused on new crew skills and
achievements/medals.

Deusmortis, on Sep 14 2011 - 23:49, said: Really, moderators? THIS is the thread you choose for the
"official" Wittmann v. Boelter discussion? The one started by an
admittedly biased fanboy?
I'm all for discussion on the topic. Personally, I think the medal should remain unchanged, although I understand the reason why it is being changed. Making this threat the official discussion, however, makes everyone who supports leaving the medal as is appear to be on the side of the OP and his poorly worded, hypocritical rant.

Loge, on Sep 15 2011 - 04:21, said: So recently I noticed that the WoT community is apparently
censored. I don't mean the warnings/punishments from moderators,
that's normal, it's just that some threads/comments are
disappearing altogether, without any explanation.
Most recent example is Storm's QA on the name change of the Wittmann's medal (Boelter's medal now), which expresses some fairly interesting opinions. I quoted this interview in one of my comments on Overlord's blog - only to have it deleted (comment only included the quote itself and the source of the quote, nothing more). What's more, the thread I quoted from disappeared within an hour as well. I made another attempt, pointing people to Google's cached copy of the interview. Gone within 5 minutes as well. I think you can still find a cached copy on Google, search for "kruzenshtern wittmann", should be the first result, click on "cached".
However, this thread is not about bias. This thread is about the developers censoring the community, basically deleting posts that they don't like.
What do you think? Okay, not okay, who cares?

As part of this weekend's festivities to honor US tank commander Creighton Abrams, the World of Tanks NA Twitter account will be hosting a quiz focusing on Creighton Abrams' career as a tanker and his life as a whole.
What's this whole quiz about, you ask? It's simple:
Head over to the World of Tanks NA Twitter page. We'll ask 20 questions, spread out to one question every 15 minutes. The quiz begins at 1PM PDT (4PM EDT) on September 15, 2011 and is scheduled to end at 6PM PDT (9PM EDT) on September 15, 2011.To submit your answer to a question, email us at prizes@worldoftanks.com with:Subject: Creighton Abrams Twitter QuizThe question you're answeringThe answer you want to submit for the questionYour World of Tanks in-game nameYou have 10 minutes from the point the question is posted to submit your answer. Once time is up, we'll Tweet out the correct answer. Any submissions sent in after the answer is posted will not be considered.Only one submission per-question per-player is allowed.Up to 10 correct submissions per-question will be eligible to receive 200 gold.Winners will be selected at random from the correct submissions for that question.

Read up on Creighton Abrams and the topic of the question to make sure you're answering correctly! You don't have to stick around for the entire quiz if you don't want to. Each question you answer correctly will give you a chance to earn some gold. You can win for more than one question, so if you want to learn a bit more about this storied tank commander, then it could be very rewarding for you!Not all of these questions will be as easy as visiting Wikipedia to answer, so prepare to scour the internet!

GeneralDirection: With the current format, there will be a number of "Moderator"
accounts (we'll share the names in the details post for the event)
that will be queueing for battles in tanks related to the Battle of
Arracourt. If you manage to kill them, you'll need to take a
screenshot and submit it in a special thread we'll create. Killing
them nets you some gold.
However, we are investigating other formats for in-game events. So while this particular event will work like that, those in the future may not.

With the comically nonsensical decision to hold off releasing the M103 to replace the T34 for what I can only assume is a satanic punchline to the playerbase's collective gonads. Has there been any thought into doing something about the T34's grind? I mean, with the old Panther and Panther 2 they were a bit outclassed at their tiers but above all were just horrible horrible grinds that even the devs came to realize was killing the tanks.
As it's been brought up in this thread there is another 105 that can be mounted onto the American heavy tree...the 105mm T5E2. Now the T29 is fine with it's top 105 gun and it can be debated and argued whether or not the T32 should get some kind of upgrade gun. However, there is no doubt, absolutely none, that the tier 9 American heavy slot is sorely lacking in an intermediate gun between stock and elite due to the T32s limited gun choice. Therefore at least in the interim is it not wise to simply take the 105mm T5E1 model, give it buffed stats (dare i say buffing some pen on that to make it useful?), and slap it into the T34 tech tree? Why can that not be done? You can't use the excuse that we would have to wait for the model because we can just use the 105T5E1 model. Heck your even using the VK3001H's 105 model for the Vk2801, so it's not without precedent to use the same model to make a tank more balanced or in this case playable. You also cannot use the argument that it would unbalance the game in any way shape or form since it would probably still be weaker than the KT's 105 and wouldn't even be the top gun on the T34.
Please read this Overlord, please read this and pass it along to the devs to shove it into this patch (you can shove on the 105 on the VK28 between TEST patches you can do this). It wouldn't break the game and it would at least reassure the playerbase that you care even a little about playability and enjoyment.

Tanitha: It depends on how much you play mate.
If you enjoy the game and play a fair bit, IMO the best way to spend gold is to buy a months premium.
This will get you +50% exp, and +50% credits per game.

Tan.

TD make damages to Heavy , Heavy support the advance of the Medium. And scout spot the enemy position
The real counter of the camper is the scout!.
SPG only make people camp for ages.
Dont put me wrong I tried the spg and it was easy to make many kills.
after 3000 battles. people Always Always complain about the SPG in hight tier are terribly annoying and frustrating.
my opinion is the Spg's is really badly implemented in that nearly perfect enjoyable game.
I really love world of tanks it is my favorite game I just wanna put my opinion to make it better.
thanks for reading and sorry about my really bad English.
