Tanitha: Hello Cyper
The above is good advice, or there is some more information here.
the internet is a busy city street network, if too much traffic is forced down a highway it is susceptible to traffic jams and holdups. The solution is to reduce the traffic going through the streets, make the streets bigger so they can handle the traffic, or to plan a new route to take different streets.
Depending on your location, different internet routes are taken to get to World of Tanks servers. Some of those routes, not all, are getting traffic jams at certain times.
Wargamming has been working on the issues from many fronts, reducing its traffic generated, bypassing some problem areas, and organizing some streets to be expanded.
Most of the current problems are coming from remote area's such as the remote area's of Australia or people using Telstra for some examples.
We again apologize for the situation, and will continue working on the issue from our end, and also with the network companies in control of the traffic jams.
If you wish to help get your particular lag issues fix, please provide us with information in the following format.
1. Download pingplotter from here. LINK
2. Connect to login-master.worldoftanks.com
3. Let it run for a few minutes, and settle.
4. Screen capture it.
5. Paste it into a graphics program, and cut the first few steps which show your local IP.
6. Upload it to a image website. like LINK
7. Link the photo into a reply, as below.. Putting it in a spoiler would be nice if you know how.
Ping plotter screenshot.

Temporary Helper
As above, because the problem is mainly with traffic jams in the internet streets. You can force your computer to take a different street with a VPN system, which is similar to a proxy. There is many paid VPN systems out there, that are approximately $10 a month, But i prefer to use the free one, Hotspot shield. Its free because it installs adverts into your browser. However these adverts can be switched off with "add block plus" a firefox/crome addon. Which then just leaves you a free and add free VPN service.
Running hotspot currently reduces my ping by approximately 350.

It might help some of the players who experiencing problems with their route to World of Tanks.
Paid VPN will probably provide a better solution, but the free one above works ok, but it installs adds into your browser, which can be switched off with a add blocker like addblockplus

World of Tanks Game Discussion\Testing Grounds (7.0 Public Test V3)\Public Test v7.0v3 - Bug Reporting Archive\Reload Time in Replays
Link on message: #1163875
ImDrone, on Dec 04 2011 - 00:53, said: While in the replay mode, the reticle shows as if it is reloading
at normal speed no matter what speed the replay is being viewed at.
Even when the replay is paused, the reticle shows that the tank is
reloading. When swapping between sniper and arcade mode, the time
is set to the proper time for the tank, but will continue to reload
at the (1x) speed in both modes. To reproduce, just pause a replay
after your tank fires a shot. FYI this bug was produced on my Maus
while on the map Lakeville.
Edit: Also, somewhat related, changing speed while a "ping'd" square is on the map makes that square ping the speed of which it started at. This is OK, but tends to get very annoying if you are playing it at fast speed, and pause as it pings forever at a ridiculous speed.

2)Installed 7.0v3 over 7.0v2>>>>
3)Installed the English patch update to 7.0v3 per forum instructions.
4)Went into the test folder and started WOT Test picked Server 1.
5)*****Message returned that I was using the wrong email or password**** (yes did check login info)
6)Closed game and tried to log into regular WOT game and had the same issue message. Suspected a potential key logger issue.
7)Closed game, Logged into account and had WOT send me a new pass word to try and stop a potential account hijack.
8)Used new password to login to account and both the live server and patch server (auto)
9)Logged out of account and closed the game.
10)Performed full pc scans with malware and virus protection utilities. Both utilities reported no known problems.
11)Left for several hours to watch my favorite football team lose and successfully elevate my blood pressure.
12)When trying to log into the test server was unable to login with new password but was able to login with the OLD password.
13)As expected old password does not work on the live server but I am able to log into the live server with new password.... as expected.
Question1 - Test Server - Why did the old original login and password not work earlier in the day but start working later in the day?
Question2 -Test Server -Why did the new pass word work earlier but fail to work several hours later?

I am reporting in again to let you know that there's still no fix
for this in v.3.
The colour blind setting in the Preferences changes the targets to blue. It does not change the aiming Reticle and Dispersion Indicator to blue. This needs to be fixed.
I'm confirming that this is still not working for v3. The old Colour Blind mod did not work with v.2 either so currently there is no viable workaround.
Thank you.

bad, completely stagnant gameplay is bad too. Need something in

Perhaps an option that a draw counts as half a win for both teams. Thus a team that is 2 - 0 down drawing the next two matches will result in a losing 3 - 1 scoreline. If the scores are tied at 3 - 3, keep playing until one team wins. Of course this introduces the opposite problem of a winning team trying to force draws.
Somebody smarter than me come up with a better plan!

World of Tanks Game Discussion\Suggestions\Simple fix to accidental TK's

This game had a nice system to punish TK'ers if the kill was indeed
non-accidental.
Some of the options that can show up on the "killed" person's screen...
YOU HAVE BEEN TEAM KILLED!
Was this killing accidental?
YesNoDon't know
from there, if it was yes, maybe autoslay can be in order, if not accidentally (arty splash anyone?), then maybe just payment of credits/xp or something. if maybe, the current system in-place can track if it was an isolated incident or not.

GeneralDirection: I'm not sure that in the heat of the moment this system would work
as expected. I've seen a lot of upset players who were killed by a
member of their team. I doubt they'd vote "Yes" to it being
accidental, even if it was.
That said, we're fairly happy with the TK system at this time. We're buffing penalties slightly in version 7.0 after reviewing the data thus far, but we're always open to continue tweaking the nobs if it turns out to be too extreme and harmful to accidental TKs.

GeneralDirection: This is definitely an issue at times. Last night I saw a tier 3 SPG
bring his friend into a tier 7 top-end battle, and his friend was
driving a Leichtraktor due to his main account "being temporarily
banned for teamkilling." Not necessarily the best way to go about
disputing a ban, by breaking the rules of having multiple accounts.

But it is tricky because of the way the matchmaker works with the different tank types.
I would recommend, in the situation you describe above, to utilize the report system being introduced in 7.0. This should hopefully help while we can look at properly addressing the issue.

We tested the mantlet with my friend, and his 160mm penetration gun could reliably damage my tank's health when firing outside the "red area". I'm assuming the mantlet's thickness in the "green area" is much less than 100mm. Is this correct? If so, how thick?

Honest question, as I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be comfortable with WG publicly disclosing and/or discussing their employees' salary - no offence.
(Unless that "10k gold" remark was strictly tongue-in-cheek, of course
Belarussian humour that got lost in
translation somewhat, a la Overlord's usual "we're evil and
greedy".)

with the massive nerf that the 7.5cm konisch has received to balance its gold rounds in relation to relative guns, why has the normal round not received a buff to make it actually worth using??
by extension, when the 3601 becomes a heavy, with the associated teiring and weighting difference, it will need a higher penetrating gun to remain relevant, why not just rebalance the normal credit round to do the same damage per shot as the premium round?? And also why not do it when you're already balancing the gun??

Appletree, on Dec 05 2011 - 14:24, said: Yeah, I know vague general rule such as heavy tank uses class 3
vent and large-caliber rammer, etc. But actual applicability seems
to be more complex and confusing. Which tank uses "Mk1 vert.
stabilizer" and which tanks uses MK.2? I can not figure out. So I'd
like to know more definitive and complete class applicability of
these equipment and vehicles like TD, SPG, mediums etc. So I ask
devs to clarify on this.

Vallter: The collision Model of Tiger will change in 7.0 . It will be more
historically accurate. The picture of Tiger gun's mantlet armour
was posted by another user in this thread. In some zones of the
green area it will receive a bonus armour from turret.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to give the details about the
collision model according to the policy of Wargaming.net. But
having a friend ready for tests and historical material, you will
be able to find it out!

Vallter: Because konish was overperforming even without gold rounds. But if
it changes after the nerf according to statistics, we will fix the
issue.
When VK 3601 (H) becomes heavy it will be slightly rebalanced. Currently we are considering different variants.

Vallter: We are planning to make the amount of SPG's in on battle not more
than 3-4 once we perform planned matchmaking changes.

Vallter: Mk1 is for Mediums only, it's cheaper.
Mk2 is for Heavy tanks mostly, it's more expensive.
You can check the compatibility in the store using filtration per specific vehicle.
Normally difference depends on Tier and class of tanks, though bonuses are the same for all of stabilizers, for example.

Should be from Russian Beta, Notice
the building textures were not added yet, and we still had tank
barriers blocking routes all over that were uncrushable.
