how a landing tourney shook down.Hypnotik: I agree with you on this. Now that it's there, it seems pretty
useful. However it is still a bug, and to ensure something is
stable you have to fix the bug. This means that before this
bug becomes a feature, it would have to be eliminated, and then
designed into the system properly. Most likely it will go back to
the old way, and then depending on development priorities, maybe
make it back in a a more well-implemented way. From a
development standpoint to have this functionality long-term, it's
about controlling your code rather than letting it control you. We
can't let the machines win.

Hypnotik: Normally that red color would indicate a server fault that caused
the match to not take place. Currently there is a bug where
technical defeats and technical draws (battles where 1 or both
sides don't show up) appear this way, even though there was no
server fault. It will be changed back to normal fairly soon.

day or two ago. Raiders took off with hostages, and shot lots of
rounds at pursuing police, knocking out a few cruisers and "an
assault vehicle" (I'm guessing they didn't fork out for run flats
on the armored car). When the police backed off, the raiders took
the opportunity to set up an ambush. In the end the police shot
them anyway, hostages or no, as it seemed that people were going to
die anyway. One hostage killed (she was taken from her 12 year old
daughter at the bank) two off the three raiders.
