dance210:   The problem is we have live Final match being broadcast at 5:30 pm. And FYI, for all of our tournaments, we have within 30 minutes to fix any errors in scheduling or when bugs happen...

dance210:   The time was put in incorrectly, and for some reason it didn't change when it was corrected.    The battles will pop ~ 10 minutes late guys.

The_Chieftain: I wasn't thinking about peacekeeping. By official position, peacekeeping requires the approval of all parties for the peacekeeper's presence. Not to go against the Malaysian military, but I suspect a Dutch contingent will be better equipped, trained and supported to break down the door and hold the perimeter, kicking back with counterbattery fire and air support, whether the Rebels appreciate their presence or not. If the Dutch government didn't as much as ask "out of interest, General, do you think you could do this?" I'll be hugely disappointed. Joint/multinational ops often come with more drawbacks than they're worth in manpower.

The_Chieftain: Curse you! I was considering using that document as a base for a Hatch. I suspect you were given the same Sherman box as I was. I specifically asked if they happened to have the complete report it was extracted from, but the only document they had from that unit was the official war history.

dance210:   The schedule and times posted on the tournament page are correct. There will be four playoff rounds, beginning at 1:00 pm PDT and the last round starting at 5:30 pm PDT.   The playoff has been separated into two, 16-team brackets. Y'all are still facing the same opponent; this just makes the final winners clear.         Also, a couple of reminders: We will be broadcasting one of the playoff finals at 5:30 pm PDT on www.twitch.tv/wargaming! Thanks to all the captains that have submitted screenshots of the after battle reports! I look forward to seeing the screenshots from the Playoffs

The_Chieftain: Also a Dutch contingent would be far more difficult for anyone, especially the Russians, to object to. A battalion of US Paratroopers would be far more antagonising. I don't have confidence that Malaysian forces could be capable of doing the job, though I wouldn't mind if they tried either.

The_Chieftain: A technical evaluation of the tank need not indicate that the Soviets felt that any of M26's features were particularly suitable for implementation in their own vehicles, for whatever reason, even if they liked them.

The_Chieftain:   David Fletcher doesn't count?   Although one must be careful of not reading more into the test report than the test report said (in this case, that the Cromwell and Centaur of mid 1943 was unacceptable, especially compared to the M4 of the era), I would also not put the test reports in the same category as TV documentaries. Test reports tend to be comprehensive and unbiased, not designed for good TV ratings or to encourage high sales volumes. They are perfectly acceptable references for commentary and conclusion.

The_Chieftain: I assume that from the reference to the "desert site close to the museum", he was referring to the Patton museum in Indio, Califormia.

The_Chieftain: What I would really like to see is next time the separatists interfere with the investigators, the crash site area is secured by a battalion of Dutch Marines airlifted in. Will never happen, though.
