The_Chieftain:   David Fletcher doesn't count?   Although one must be careful of not reading more into the test report than the test report said (in this case, that the Cromwell and Centaur of mid 1943 was unacceptable, especially compared to the M4 of the era), I would also not put the test reports in the same category as TV documentaries. Test reports tend to be comprehensive and unbiased, not designed for good TV ratings or to encourage high sales volumes. They are perfectly acceptable references for commentary and conclusion.
