going on? In the original War Gaming's Own announcement
thread it was pointed out by several people that fail-platooning in
conjunction with coordinated click-ins would allow for massive
cheating. I know you're aware of this Pizzastorm, because you
commented in the original thread where the cheating concerns were
raised. However we're now a few months into War Gaming's Own,
and numerous top spots on the leader boards have been filled by
players who clearly used the aforementioned cheating method to get
those spots. In the original War Gaming's Own thread you said
that WG would deal with such cheating, but so far nothing has been
done. Is this going to change? If not, can you give any
reason why anyone who's not willing to cheat should participate in
War Gaming's Own at all? What incentive is there for players
to participate in a contest that's rigged? And if you are
planning on weeding our the cheaters after the fact, then what's
the point of having leader boards?

Anytime we get a report with evidence we take a look at it and take

Basically, is the important part of this contest based on the quality of the content (which the question is then how will you judge content quality) or is it going to be judged more on presentation quality?

common sense. It will be a mix of content and presentation.

Will try to get Ravzen back. As far as Challenger's 'tone'

Gods, and only last 10 days. They're not full campaigns,
which last 40 days. The
Third Campaign gave out 3,000 Tier X tanks.
Twilight of the Gods gave out the following prizes: Ranks
1-300: 112 (Tier VIII) Ranks 301-1200: T23E3 (Tier VII)
Armageddon will be rewarding 1,000 IS-5s (Tier VIII) for
free, and giving the next 1,500 the opportunity to purchase
the IS-5, if they choose to.

Gryphon_, on Jun 01 2015 - 09:39, said: @dance: I see that a number of teams, like mine, competed for less
than the full four weeks, but did well enough to be in the top
percentages on points alone. I am told that players who were in a
team for 3 of the 4 weeks will only receive 75% of the prize that
their points qualifies them for. I can understand that if the
rankings were based on winrate, but its seems odd that a team who
scored more points than another team should received less gold than
that other team. I understand the concern that top teams might
change members each week and game the system for a full payout
each, but perhaps a better way to factor down the payments to each
player would be to consider the total number of weeks that each
team was registered (1-4) as the base, rather than assuming that 4
weeks is the base for all. So if a team was registered for 3 weeks
and ranked in top 20%, then players who were in that team for all 3
weeks would get 100%, 2 weeks 67%, etc. Its all spreadsheet work
and very doable. As it stands, teams who played less than the full
4 weeks but scored more points than those that did play all four
get less gold, which seems illogical. I realize its work,
and you have other things to get to, but if you decided that the
above interpretation of the prize rules was more equitable (seeing
as no-one loses out) then if you could make that happen the
community would be mightily impressed..!

about 30 friends from the squadron at Keesler AFB (Biloxi Miss),
and walk down the beach. There was a theater (just on I-10)
that showed the midnight movie classics (back in '80-'81 when i was
there) . All of them - screens showing RHPS, Wizards,
Heavy Metal, and.. more. 200 is a good guess for me as well
on RHPS, Wizards, probably 100, ditto for Heavy Metal. 50 for
the remainder. Thing about RHPS.. pretty silly movie in a
living room.. But, get a theater that knows what its doing, and it
turns into a memorable event !! Well worth getting back in at
2-3 am.

still around... Good times indeed. Wizards, and Heavy Metal are
awesome! I too have seen those a ton of times! I will be working to

tournament. Because the amount of gold depends on how
many weeks a player was on the team, I'm taking a bit more time to
try and get everything correct the first time. Should be going out
today

as stated to give out prizes equitably , and occasionally amend the
results and payouts if there is a dispute - we do sometimes receive

that we have give out too much ! Please advise of the exact Stand-
