Saffr0n:   100 Percent PL means that the IP isn't responsive, but doesn't necessarily mean that the connection is being blocked. If the PingPlotter shows connectivity to the destination IP, then the unresponsive hop isn't anything to worry about. Wondering if those affected had been running mods that haven't been updated yet.

The_Chieftain: Well, I accept that LiB hasn't really been fond of me since our difference of opinion over the Revalorise. But that doesn't mean I don't pay attention to his comments.  That said, I am not about to go pulling Skype or email records to prove that I still communicate with Minsk and Cyprus as necessary regardless of his opinion on the matter. He can believe or not, no skin off my nose.    Actually, the main reason I have been hanging around on the honeymoon has been because there is a large push of my videos going out this month and I'm trying to make sure they are supported correctly.

Saffr0n:   Try playing around with dl/ul speed. Can you give more details about your connection and the drive you're trying to install to. Are you running the launcher as administrator?

Saffr0n:   This is actually a bug caused by XVM or similar mods. It was acknowledged by their developer this morning. You'll fix it if you disable the mod or run the game in Safe Mode.

The_Chieftain: With respect to whatever is happening on M48, I am only vaguely aware that any changes are planned from overviews on this thread and Reddit. I'm currently in the middle of week #2 of my honeymoon, which followed a destination wedding the previous week, and the weeks before that I have been rather focused on issues more relating to said wedding, military, and other issues given my looming deadline of stopping work for a month and a half. I do not expect to be back in the office before August. I am officially switched off from WG events, only checking in tangentially. So, my lack of any comment at all about the M46 or M48 is simply a reflection of the fact that I have more important things going on in my life right now than to use up time (Now in Auckland) chasing down employees in Belarus to find out specifics as to what they are thinking.   As to the console post, introducing yourself is fine. But after you introduce yourself, that doesn't remove the expectation of making the introduction part of a constructive post. Whatever the merits of the other complaints about console forum, complaining about being moderated for that post of yours looks like you're trying to manufactureditional outrage and reduces the impact of anything legitimate.

A: Follow the news on the game portal to get more information on the vehicle and find out how to get it.  Q: Are you going to introduce the new branch of Polish vehicles available for research? A:Currently, we are working on a separate branch of Polish vehicles. At the moment, we are in the process of approving candidates for the branch and collecting historical information on them. Yet, we do not have the exact date of introducing the complete Polish branch into the game. Q: Why did you choose this particular vehicle? A: It was rather difficult to find a vehicle that would be appropriate for a tier higher than V and would not be introduced as a researchable vehicle subsequently. We were choosing between two different Panther tanks that fought during the Warsaw Uprising: the Pudel and WP. Both vehicles have are rather important in terms of the Polish history. The Pudel seemed to us more visually sophisticated, thus we chose this particular vehicle. Q: Will you introduce the Polish voiceovers for the first Polish vehicle? A: Yes, but at the moment of update release only male national voiceovers will be available. Q: Why there is no Polish branch in the Tech Tree? A: Since only one Polish vehicle has been introduced into the game, adding the empty Polish branch makes no sense. The branch will be added to the Tech Tree once it is ready. Q: Will the Rudy tank be transferred to the Polish branch? A: We are working out different options regarding this vehicle. We do not like to offend players who purchased this vehicle in order to train U.S.S.R. crew members. Q: What about selecting a nation for the Rudy? A: Currently, we believe that the best option is to let players decide on their own, whether to keep it in the U.S.S.R. branch or transfer into the Polish branch.However, the Polish branch itself will be introduced much earlier. Q: Will I be able to rename Polish crew members? Probably the biggest criticism we heard was on this decision, which together with the metadata we collected made us reconsider. To set things right without returning all-arty Platoons, we’re bringing this option back for the class and limiting them to one SPG per Platoon. The matchmaker now balances team makeups by vehicles types and Platoons within a battle tier: Let’s focus on a scenario, which most of you have been through either before 9.18 or in the months after its launch. Can you recall when a team with a scout at Tier X would be matched against one with a scout at Tier VIII or something just as frustrating? These end for good with 9.19.1. Starting with its release, the matchmaker will balance team makeups by vehicle types and Platoons within a battle tier. When the matchmaker forms two sides, it puts together a similar number of TDs, LTs, and arty for each battle tier. If your team has a TD at the top, a couple of scouts in the middle, and an SPG at the bottom, the matchmaker attempts to mirror this make-up on the enemy team. However, if this scenario would cause you to wait too long, the rules become more flexible to get you into a battle faster. All the little things, too: Along with fixing major issues, we took some time to restructure team lists to let you get a better picture of the opposition and draw a battle plan to take them down. Now, vehicles at the top, middle and bottom of the list are listed by classes and those belonging to the same class are sorted by names. Changed the conditions for Gore's Medal:  Added the lower threshold of 2,000 damage Reduced the upper damage threshold: now it is enough to cause damage exceeding eight times (instead of 10 times) the hit points of your vehicle to cause Separate options for Battle Performance Badges and total damage log to stunned targets were added to the Battle Notifications tab. The_Chieftain: So I'm trying to figure out part of Rita's issue with the console forum.  It sounds like either she is shocked that the console folks don't know who she is, or that she wasn't given special treatment if she was. Either way, neither is cause for complaint.

Quemapueblos: Two American tanks go to the Super test now in order to have their turrets tested!   M48A1 Patton gets its new turret (from M48A5) with a smaller cupola and improved front armor of the turret.   M46 Patton will have improved armor of the mantlet on the standard turret (it’ll be improved till the level of M26). Effective front armor of the top turret will be ~220 mm.   Now the top Patton doesn’t have good armor of the turret and is more vulnerable due to the cupola. The new turret together with the improved armor will make it possible to play based on the terrain and to “tank” more successfully. For M46 Patton we will improve the armor of the front turret without replacing it, and will keep this branch as the branch of MTs with excellent elevation angle and solid turrets on high tiers.     Please, mind that testing on the Super test doesn’t entail inevitable release of vehicles’ changes on the main servers.
