DomoSapien: Happy to make a note of this and add it to a feedback report, there are some filtering options I would like to see added as well, such as which vehicles have equipment on them.   In the interim, I've found that setting my go-to vehicles as primary does the trick. There are only about 4 or 5 through which I rotate since I tend to do well in them.

The main part to do is the three boxes on the rear deck. To this end I cut some HL standard boxes to size and used plasticard layered up to scratchbuild the lowest profile box. Some .5mm wire bent to shape for the handles:

Painted and washed applied:

And fitted:

View Post6mm_PPC, on May 09 2018 - 13:52, said: Can someone explain to me how the majority of players work crew skill level.  I am a greenhorn, so as for what I do is when I get a new tank, reguardless of tier, I just get the cheapest crew when I buy the tank or SPG. Once they hit 100%, I will train them in a skill. Ok as of right now, I have never been able to get a crew to 100% in whatever skill I choose. How many battles does it take to level a skill to 100%? As far when and if I sell a tank for whatever reason, I usually just dismiss the crew as from my little experience, they are always less than 100% when I transfer them to a new tankl and or it cost gold, which I have yet to see come from the game.   Iam thinking 1000 battles to level skill to 100%, but I do not know.   any suggestions as far as how to maximise my crew most efficiently?

TeriyakiTanker:  This is a good site for calculating how much exp you need to get to a new skill level http://www.planetwot.com/Crewxp/ You are talking a total of 210,064 to go from 0 - 100% on your first skill, and realize that going from 90-100% in the first skill will take you 78,306 of that total.  So basically it takes much longer as you get closer to 100%.  For your second skill/perk it will take you 420,128 exp to go from 0-100.
Gold is mostly received by spending real money to buy it.

DomoSapien:
Lol! You guys are killin' me. Do you run QB or Aslain's? I bought the Rudy as soon as it came out, even before I was working with WG, answered more support tickets than I'd care to remember about the dog not barking, every time a new patch came out after there was a Rudy sale. Szarik never barked for me when 6th sense went off.

TeriyakiTanker:   I think you lose the seal label some time around 2000 battles.  It is pretty hard to call yourself a seal after 8.5k battles.  I realize you haven't gotten great at the game but come on you should have equipment on the vast majority of your tanks, you should have crew skills on your most used crews, and you shouldn't be constantly surprised by new things on the maps at this point.  So what makes you feel like you are a seal?

DomoSapien: Hi there!

Sorry to hear about the crashes. Hopefully you should get a response to your ticket soon!    A quick checklist of stuff you can try in the meantime (I posted this in another thread so apologies for the copy-paste): - Perform a clean installation of your graphics drivers. (For nvidia, download the driver, then select "custom" in the installer and make sure the "clean install" option is checked.)
- Run a WGCheck report. Make sure you run the extended network diagnostics option. Attach that to your ticket. - Try booting Windows into Safe Mode with Networking and replicating the issue. If it doesn't occur while Windows is in Safe Mode it is likely being caused by a conflict with one of your startup processes.

I've always tried to share honest and respectful feedback when it comes to new changes and additions to the game, because I believe in this game. And I've always tried to be patient and optimistic with WG and their developers. However, it seems that no one from WG really cares what my opinion is. So, in the end, it doesn't really matter what I think, or what I say. And because of that, I've never been more disappointed with this game {and its developers}, than I am right now. Not that it really matters to them. As was stated recently in this forum, I am just a "filthy casual player", and my opinion "whining" is not valid here  ...isn't that right WG..?     *And apparently... my opinion and feedback is NOT valid here. It is now classified as "whining".   So, my apologies, Wargaming. I must be in the wrong place. I thought folks around here could handle a bit of constructive, honest, and respectful feedback. I guess I was wrong. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a "filthy casual player" anyway.

DomoSapien:   Not really sure what gave you that impression, I'm just trying to streamline this process and make these as informative/useful as possible.

That comment in particular was just asking for feedback on stuff that is in my direct control, (Ie the guide format, which types of graphics you guys find more useful etc. As you can see I've been playing around with different types of illustrations/highlights in the screenshots to indicate positions and firing lines as clearly as I can)  rather than something like map design which I'm not directly involved with. I've been compiling everyone's comments and adding them to our feedback reports, including yours :)

TeriyakiTanker:  Let me see if I got this straight, you are basically a seal clubber yourself but you come on the forums complaining about other seal clubbers.  So your excuse for seal clubbing is that you aren't good enough to do anything else?  I don't get it. You do realize that after almost 9k games you are a veteran right?  Basically what I am getting from this thread is that you are a failed seal clubber who gets mad when more experienced players club you while you are seal clubbing yourself.......

View Postcocobabygirl, on May 08 2018 - 08:26, said: Okay just looking for ALL answers to this thread that hopefully allows both sides to address their opinion.  I see when a newbie loses badly in lower tier battles they complain of cheating, club sealing, blah blah blah.  I also see the veteran better players crying their same eyes out about arty killing them.  This is the only way a noob can have fun at getting back at a good player without getting killed in 6 seconds. Yup thats how it feels when new players are up against good players in lower tiers. I read that players with 30k battle experience that they love to play lower tier once in awhile or they need to build their crew experience (bull#$@^).  Everyone knows it's because they just got their azz kicked in the upper tier battle and want to take out their frustration on a weaker less experienced player where they have the advantage.  Lol ok by now please veteran players go get a refill on their beverage of choice and newbies start my go fund me page.  Compare this problem to school, would you send a high school student back down to kindergarten because he likes chocolate milk?  Why is it allowed to send a seasoned player with a fully equipped tank and crew down to a battle where the majority players are just starting out to learn about this game.  So the rewards are for a seasoned player that has been spending money for awhile and has some interest in this game won't leave as fast as a cheap first starting player that has not been proven to spend money to stay.  I think maybe they should have a maximum amount of battles for lower tiers in a tank.  Tier 1 200 battles tier 2 400 battles so on ....... Remember per tank up to tier 5.  I know i'm just wishing but keep your eye on the total players on the NA server going down the more new players that quickly uninstall from this game will only leave the stat padders, rerollers and really good players left.  What fun will that be, no more watching the stupid stuff of newbies.  I guess just like the post in the general discussion go get your M2 or other russian medium put your best crew in it find a unicum platoon partner and go see how many seals you can bag to make you feel like a winner.

TeriyakiTanker:  Look, you have almost 9k games you aren't a seal, get over it.  I drop down once in a while to play my low tier tanks: 1.  I would like to try for 100% Ace Mastery some day and I can't do that without playing some low tier tanks.2.  Some low tier tanks are actually fun to play once in a while3.  I want to eventually kill one of every tank in the game so when a new line comes out I drop down and make sure I get all the low tiers out of the way in the first week4.  When a new line comes out why shouldn't veterans be able to research and play the new tanks?
Either way they aren't changing it so just get over it!

When the event is over, the vehicles will be removed from players' accounts. All property (shells, consumables, and equipment) will be transferred to the Depot. Experience earned on the rental vehicles will be transferred to the T1 and MS-1 tanks. The crew will be transferred to the Barracks.

Subject: Front Line question ; What is best lineup for credits?
Link on message: #11641135

DomoSapien: My go-to lineup if I'm trying to make as many credits as I can:

Start with Defender, contest the cap point, survive as long as possible or until other flanks start falling
If I need to get to cap fast, or rotate over to an adjacent zone, Progetto (T69 is a good counter/alternative to the progetto)
If I need more firepower and my defender is on cooldown, Somua SM. Those six shots come in handy, and your first load is half as long as your reload so you'll be ready to fight by the time you get to the action. (AMX 50 100 is solid as well)   Situational tanks:
Emil 1 to for last stand on the ridgeline behind Objective 1 and 2
Pershing (KR patton, or Pz Mutz) for flex play on Zone D and E
ELC Even 90 for utility and harassment - the tiny hitbox is extra tiny when the map is huge   IS-3 is a solid alternative to the Defender, but you can't rely on the armor as much. Lots of them penning me with AP. Lots of T-44's penning me with AP as well.    Pop a 50% Credit Booster, play premium tonks and avoid dabbing that 2 key as much as possible and you'll be rolling in credits in no time.

EDIT: Also, shameless plug: Jambijon is running a Frontlines Guide contest on the forums. You get a bunch of boosters just for participating, and the grand prize is a T26E5 (or Patriot, depending on how 'murican you're feeling) which happens to be excellent for Frontlines mode, and for earning Credits ;)

TeriyakiTanker:   Just go look in the premium shop and you will see the basic price of other tier VI tanks, they are about the same.  I believe they usually run around $18 - $20 but you have to be careful because sometimes they will be bundled with gold or boosters and that can raise the cost up a bit.

Too use recon you first have to research it. After that you have to select it before going into battle in the tank you want to use it (the slot to select it is to the right of the directives slot). Once in battle press 8 (when the cooldown is over, which iirc is 100sec) and click where you want to use it

TeriyakiTanker:   This is super good advice try and limit yourself to 2 tanks, 3 at the most.  You also want to find premiums with good penetration.  I would suggest Defender, Skorpion, WZ-120-1G, and the Strv all seem pretty good for that kind of stuff.   Has anyone tried the Chrysler yet?

DomoSapien:   Are you having trouble navigating through the prompts on the support portal? Perhaps I can help clarify the appropriate steps?

To be honest, the important thing is getting the ticket in. If you put it in the wrong category our Support Team will move it to the correct one. I was getting some crashes while running on my 4K display at home, dropped it down to 1080 and it was running fine thereafter. It's possible we might be able to troubleshoot the issue.
A quick checklist of stuff you can try in the meantime: - Perform a clean installation of your graphics drivers.

TeriyakiTanker: You aren't forced to go through a new line, as a matter of fact every time they introduce a new nation you basically get a free garage slot.  Every year there are numerous opportunities to win free garage slots, so if you don't want to spend money you should easily be able to get extra garage slots by participating in marathons, missions, on the on-tracks.  I actually think you could get a couple of free garage slots for playing an Italian tank in 9 games or something along those lines.

TeriyakiTanker:   Yeah basically that is the best way to maximize their use.

TeriyakiTanker:   Not really, they work with any one else having BiA so it makes sense to use them for crew members that have a larger number of useful skills.  Depending on the tank this usually means Commanders and Drivers.  There really isn't a huge need for these guys to be loaders.   Retraining them is a pretty good idea if you can.

TeriyakiTanker:  World of Warcraft started with waaaaayyyyyy more players than this game did and has still lost a large chunk of its player base.  At its height has 12 million players and now it is less than half of that from what I understand. The best part of this thread is that after 11 frothing pages of anger no one has defined what a seal or seal clubbing is.  Sort of hard to have a conversation when no one can really figure out exactly what anyone else is talking about.
