The_Chieftain: OK. This is not a simulator. There are some minor deviances from
reality such as 'a lack of combined arms', 'equal teams', 'spotting
rules', 'hitpoints', 'track repair', 'ammunition access', 'track
tension', 'mechanical reliability', etc... so any claims to
historical reality have to be taken with a pinch of salt. We try to
model the vehicles as best we can, but ultimately, it's an arcade
game. That said, I'm not sure quite what the OP is
complaining about. The German Tier VI mediums were, generally
speaking, prototypes or paper panzers, so there isn't very much to
complaing about 'historical accuracy' except for the fact that
they're in the game in the first place.. The 'real' Tier VIs,
Nashorn, Jgdpz IV, and Dicker Max seem to perform reasonably in
comparison to their opposition, given that they are TDs. As
for the odd side thread of my background, I'm not sure I see the
relevance to this topic. Doesn't have much to do with the game or
history. Besides, As long as HRC, and DFAS continue to
believe I'm in the military, I don't think it really matters what
anyone else thinks.

Fire"; my team of myself, Irony, and 1984Bigbrother went up against
PizzaStorm, Hypnotik, and Saffr0n on Mines in the finals. Needless
to say it was a hard-fought battle but thanks to some advice from
Yoott, we devised a pretty clutch strategy that helped us clinch
the W and go on to represent the NA region in the Finals at WG
Headquarters in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Eles voltarão de forma gradual e
assim será até criarmos uma agenda igual havia nos anos anteriores,
atendendo tanto aos jogadores mais casuais quanto aos mais
competitivos. Jambijon e Domosapien serão os
novos administradores destes torneios, e estamos muito felizes de
anunciar algo que todos estavam sentindo falta nos últimos
meses. O torneio de abertura começará na próxima sexta-feira,
15 de Junho. Regras detalhadas, premiação e agenda serão
anunciadas na segunda-feira, 11 de Junho com o registro ficando
disponível entre terça e quinta-feira. Alguns detalhes sobre o

game servers that are the problem, usually there is something local
or in between that is the issue. Game running fine for
thousands of other people would be an indication that it isn't the
game server that is the issue.

find out exactly how much you need to get to any level
skill. http://www.planetwot.com/Crewxp/ Basically
you need 210,064 exp to get to 100% on your first skill and you
need 90,086 to get from 88% to 100% on your first skill so
basically you are half way there.

nivel de campeo se hace notar bastante. Aunque, si vamos al caso,

para Grandes Batallas (el que contiene elementos soviéticos).
Anteriormente, probamos dos variantes de este
mapa que poseían estilos de juego diferentes. En el día de hoy,
ingresa al Supertest una versión actualizada. Está basada en las
opiniones que recibimos de ambos prototipos. La nueva
versión del mapa "soviético" de Grandes Batallas combina
espacios abiertos con bloques urbanos. Su tamaño es de 1800m×1800m
(1400m×1400m desde los límites del mapa). Mientras
tabajábamos en esta nueva versión, decidimos agregar más líneas de
interacción entre las distintas línea de ataque. Avanzar y asegurar
cualquiera de los flancos les dará múltiples opciones para
continuar con su ataque y proveer de soporte a aliados en otras
zonas del mapa. Todos los caminos están interconectados de alguna
manera. El mapa cuenta con 5 zonas principales de combate:
Los cruces de camino del
oeste. Un gran espacio abierto dividido en varias partes por el
río. Esta zona es ideal para emboscadas y francotiradores, pero los
bancos del río pueden proteger a los vehículos atacantes del fuego
enemigo. Los bloques urbanos. Esta zona favorece a los vehículos
bien blindados y permite los combates cercanos. Además, ofrece
muchas opciones de maniobras y un camino corto directo a la base
enemiga. La colina central. Tanques con buena depresión pueden
beneficiarse de ella, y además ayudar a sus aliados cercanos. Al
principio de la batalla, los tanques ligeros deberían echar un
vistazo rápido y así detectar a sus enemigos más adelantados. El
“cuello de botella”. Esta zona apartada del mapa es ideal para

En esta fase de pruebas planeamos revisar el balance tanto
del mapa entero como cada línea de ataque. También evaluaremos cuán
bien funcionan las interrelaciones de las líneas de ataque en su
conjunto. De acuerdo a los resultados, decidiremos qué hacer a

Los cruces de camino del
oeste. Un gran espacio abierto dividido en varias partes por el
río. Esta zona es ideal para emboscadas y francotiradores, pero los
bancos del río pueden proteger a los vehículos atacantes del fuego

MA77: Nós estamos progredindo com o mapa (o do cenário soviético).
Anteriormente, testamos duas variantes deste mapa que tinham
diferentes layouts de jogabilidade. Hoje, começamos o Superteste de
uma versão atualizada do referido mapa. Nós baseamos nossas
mudanças no feedback que recebemos nos dois protótipos. Além disso,
temos algumas screenshots no spoilers abaixo.

A nova versão do mapa da "Grande Batalha" soviética combina espaços abertos com quarteirões da cidade. Seu tamanho é 1800m × 1800m (1400m × 1400m pela linha vermelha).
Enquanto trabalhávamos, estávamos muito interessados em adicionar mais interação entre diferentes rotas de ataque. Avançando em qualquer um dos flancos e garantindo uma posição forte, você terá várias opções para continuar seu ataque e também para apoiar aliados em outras partes do mapa. Todas as rotas próximas umas das outras estão interconectadas dessa maneira.

O mapa tem cinco zonas de combate:
O desvio ocidental: Uma grande área aberta dividida em várias seções pelo rio. Esta zona serve para franco-atiradores, mas as margens do rio podem cobrir os companheiros de ataque do fogo inimigo. Os quarteirões da cidade: Este lugar favorece tanques bem blindados e brigas próximas. Ele oferece muitas opções que você pode usar para derrotar inimigos, e tem um atalho para a base inimiga. Gnomon: Hiya, folks! Hope that you’re having a great Friday so
far. Today I wanted to talk about the new Grand Battle
map. We’re making progress with the map (the one in
Soviet setting). Previously, we tested two variants of this map
that had different gameplay layouts. Today, we begin the Supertest
of an updated version of said map. We based our changes on the
feedback we received on both prototypes. Also, I have some
screenshots in the spoilers below, if you're interested.
The new version of the ‘Soviet’ Grand Battle map combines
open spaces with city blocks. Its size is 1800m×1800m (1400m×1400m
by the red line). While working on it we were very interested in
adding more interaction between different attack routes. Advancing
on either of the flanks and securing a strong position will give
you multiple options for continuing your assault and also for
supporting allies battling it out in other parts of the map. All
routes next to each other are interconnected in such way.
The map has 5 combat zones: The western bypass. A large open
area split into several sections by the river. This zone fits
ambushing snipers, but the river banks can cover attacking
teammates from enemy fire. The city blocks. This place favors well
armored tanks and close quarters brawling. It offers plenty of
options you can use to outmaneuver enemies, and it has a shortcut
to the enemy base. The central hill. Tanks with good gun depression
can benefit here and also help their allies in close vicinity. At
the start of the battle light tanks may be able catch a glimpse at
where the opponents are headed with some quick scouting. The
“Bottleneck”. This isolated part of the map suits heavily armored
tanks. It can be used for flanking the city blocks zone (2) and
helping out friendlies. The village in the east. Speedy tanks can
hide behind several destructible houses. Hit-and-run tactics may be
employed. Taking this spot gives you a nice view of the hill (3)
and the ability to control what’s happening there. On this stage of
testing, we plan to check the balance on the entire map and on
every separate attack route. We’ll also assess how well those
earlier mentioned neighboring assault directions are working out.
Depending on the results we’ll decide what happens next to this map
prototype. Map

TeriyakiTanker: Most likely they will do a generic EU line and roll up a lot of
stuff into it. I am guessing that eventually you will see a
Canadian line and probably an Israeli line once they cant come up
with anything else to put in the game. They aren't willingly
going to stop making new tanks just because they don't fit into
some idea of what this game should be limited to. Personally I
think they really miss out by not including clones. Do we
really think the millions of Poles who play the game wouldn't grind
the hell out of a Polish line that had a T-54 in it?

DomoSapien: I see you have about 500 battles. I would recommend going up the US
medium line, which I see you're already doing.
I'm grinding US mediums now and I regret not going with them first; You pick up a lot of good habits along the way, and the tier VII, tier IX, and tier X are all really solid performers. Plus you get the M4 Sherman at tier V, and Shenanigans with the 105mm derp gun on that thing are always a good time.
Starting at tier VII, US mediums teach you to play conservatively because you don't really get reliable turret armor until tier X, but have the alpha damage, gun handling, and gun depression to provide you with a lot of really good opportunities to support your team/dish out a bunch of damage. The squishy turret, in my opinion, is actually a benefit more than a drawback, because you try and avoid exposing your armor at all unless you know it's worth the risk to deal the damage. It forces you to assume the following: If I am hit, I will take damage.
The mentality of making efficient trades (not throwing away HP, trading hitpoints only when it's worth it, falling back and firing on the move etc.) is useful for each and every vehicle.
Check out this replay; the noteworthy part is the second half, where the remaining two enemy tanks are capable of one-shotting my T20. The early half is actually way aggressive for the T20, but I saw a weakness in the enemy's deployment and decided to capitalize on it. Things got interesting when it was down to me, the KV2R and the T29.
