Tell us how tanks like 432, defender, progetto, ebr FL aren't all
blatantly pay2win. There are others, but this is my
short list. Promise us that WG won't put out CLEARLY op, broken
tanks to sell. KRZYBooP: I have my own opinions same as yourself, along with a more
shades of grey definition when it comes to what Pay2Win means. I
can put myself in our players shoes and can see how the game can
percieved as Pay2Win, but there is some information that was
released to help with addressing player's concerns with bonds being
included with WoT Premium. WoT Premium doesn't come
with 25 bonds automatically, you have to complete 3 missions each
day to unlock 25 bonds. To address player's concerns WoT is going
to introduce more missions in the game that offer bonds as reward
for all players to complete. Right now there is a mission for Front
Line that offers 200 bonds everytime you prestige. The
Tanks OBJ 430 and 430U aren't pay2win cause you have to grind your
way up the normal tech tree. I have run some game events at
conventions and purposefully put new players that don't know how to
play tanks in the Defender, and they still get picked apart while I
am trying to explain what armor angling is. They block 3, or 4
shots then die. The Progetto offers a different playstyle that
someone has to master in order to be successful. The EBR FL is fast
but only dangerous with a player that knows what they are doing.
Pay2Win in my own opinion is an undeniable advantage that
can only be purchased with money. Some examples that are black and
white are: Rounds that don't bounce, always pen and do a massive
amount of damage. Tank armor or consumable that makes you bullet
proof with no counter. Being able to purchase a fleet of Planes to
bomb and destroy all enemy players. As far as tank sales go:
WG has in the past released premium tanks that were not really that
great compared to Tech tree counter parts. However, it leaves the
question of why would a player spend money on a premium tank if it
doesn't perform at least the same or better than tech tree tanks.
WoT is a free to play game with a business model that allows
players to pick an amount of money THEY WANT to pay in order to
support the product. You can play it for free, buy some premium
time, or buy our feast that is usually available once a year.
25 bonds a day for advanced equipment that doesn't much of
an advantage over the normal equipment at a price of Thousand's of
bonds isn't that bad in my opinion. Especially since it opened the
door for free to play players able to earn bonds through missions.
Nothing I type will change anyone's mind on the subject, but
those are my own opinions on the matter. If there is one
thing that remains true with WoT ; It seems that NOTHING in this
game, is ever set in stone. I do appreciate everyone's
passion and wants when it comes to games they love. I can assure
you that Everyone on the community team do there very best to fight
for our players common interest.

contador). "Destruye tanques enemigos I", "Destruye tanques
enemigos II", "Bloquea daño I", "Bloquea daño II", "Daño asistido
I", "Daño asistido II" y "Daño I" pueden completarse una vez por
cuenta.
¡Saludos!

Subject: [Opiniones] Fechas patrias
Link on message: #12106796
Link on message: #12106796
Felipe6666Original: ¡Buenas!
solución a medio camino.

¡Saludos!

The_Chieftain:
In the archives of the Tank Destroyer Branch is an
after-action assessment written by VI Corps’ artillery section,
entitled “Anti-Tank Defense of Anzio Beachhead.” It was not unusual
for “Anti-Tank Defense” to be placed under the artillery department
of a large unit, and certainly the Germans put some pretty heavy
armor into trying to repel the Anzio landing forces. 75 years ago,
the two sides were still locked in something of a stalemate, after
nearly three months of fighting. Combined with some of the unit
AARs, the following can be written.
VI CorpsThe planning for
Operation Shingle began in early January of 1944. At the time, VI
Corps was in the vicinity of Venafro, before it was pulled back to
direct its attentions towards Anzio.Initial planning concluded that
the objectives laid out for G-3 near the beach-head were not well
suited to anti-tank defense. As a result, the line was extended out
on the left flank to the Moletta river: The river made a better
natural obstacle, and there was a reasonable road network to supply
forces there. From there, co-ordination had to be made between the
US and British units, to ensure no gaps developed, and with the
engineers, to figure out what to demolish, where to lay mines, and
where to lay roadblocks. The next question was to ensure that
sufficient AT capability was provided to the units, and that their
ship load plans included sufficient AT capability offloaded early
in the landings. The Corps decided that an 80-20 split of HE with
AP would be appropriate: The ratio had been deemed proven
satisfactory in the past, they saw no reason to change it now.Other
factors for planning included working with the units to ensure that
likely avenues of approach were covered, and creating a liaison
system.Lessons started being learned before the first ship was
loaded. Firstly, that a Division or Corps AT section needed to be
included in any planning group right the way through the process,
from beginning of planning to completion. Secondly, that a
dedicated AT officer needs to work with the G-3, 4 and 2
(Operations, Supply and Intelligence) in order to advise them of
the capabilities and limitations of TDs and other AT means, and to
assist them in their planning estimates.A third lesson was that AT
units were not being promptly informed of changes or modifications
in plans, meaning that they had less time to change their
disposition. Also, there seemed to be too little cross-talk between
the subordinate units, so there was incomplete co-ordination
between them. And that was just the planning. VI Corps was in a
better position than some, in that it created an Anti-tank
subsection under General Ramey, which consisted of him, his aid, a
“good TD major” and an expert typist. The War Dept officially did
not authorize such a section, so it was a local creation. The
landings at Anzio started 22 January. The 601st TD Bn,
attached to 3rd Division, landed in the first assault wave
before dawn, the 83 vehicles and 373 men split amongst ten ships.
The 601st, equipped with M10s, was used to being attached to the
3rd. A company was split up one platoon per regiment, and landed
alongside one platoon per regiment of tanks from 751st Tank
Battalion. The rest landed during the day, the TDs from LSTs, the
tanks from LCTs. No particular resistance was identified. The
601st was the crack US anti-tank unit, converted from
the pre-war 1st Infantry Division Provisional Anti-tank
battalion, and starting right in the thick of things with the North
Africa landings, fighting at Kasserine Pass and El Guettar, the
latter being likely the highlight of US tank destroyer operations
throughout the war.
M10s of the 601st being loaded onto landing
craft. This photo actually from Operation Dragoon, but gets
the point across. The battalion commander of the 601st was
appointed as the Division’s AT officer, and the company commanders
often became regimental AT officers. Results varied: One regiment
gave the AT officer a mission and let him do it. Another regiment
micromanaged the AT positions, and simply used the AT officer as an
orders conduit. The British 81st Anti-Tank Regiment was held in
floating reserve, ready to offload as needed. Given that the report
indicates that the 601st took much of the day just organizing
after landing, it may be questioned just how rapidly the
81st could be landed. On the plus side, the 81st was
equipped with towed 6pr and 17pr guns, capable of being offloaded
quickly. On the downside, the 81stwas equipped with towed 6pr and
17pr guns…Things were quiet the first few days. The only reported
action in the 601st history was the destruction of an
unidentified tank and a machinegun nest. The Germans made their
first major push back on the 26th, against the British
1st Division on the Allied left (Northern) flank around
Carroceto, including an estimated 20 tanks. The 894th TD
Battalion, a Corps asset, was being offloaded that day, and two
companies were immediately dispatched in support. The 894th, also a
veteran unit of Kasserine Pass, was also an M10-equipped unit by
this time. The line held.
Another M10 of the 601st, possibly at
a bridge or The Overpass (More on that next article)The
27th was a good day for the 601st. 2nd Platoon of B
company had some long-range shooting practice, knocking out two
“7.5cm Assault Gun PaK 40” (It is disappointing that we cannot tell
from the American side if this was a StuG, Marder or one of the
newly arrived Jagdpanzer IVs) at 1,000 and 1,500 yards. The first
took three rounds HE and three APC, the second 5 HE and 3 APC.
3rd platoon went another route, and at about 300 yards, fired
through both walls of a house to knock out a tank hiding behind it.
Then, at some unusually long sightline, knocked out another 7.5cm
assault gun at 1,700 yards, and then a 20mm flak gun. The next day,
Third Herd added another tank and armored car to their score. The
infantry then started an attack, and the 601st ended up
playing close support, a role it took on rather more than most.
894th played a similar role for the British. As the attack
progressed, the Germans started showing up in strength. The
30th 2/B/601st kill a PzIII and three “77mm” AT guns at
50, 500 and 800 yards range. The 31st, though, started getting busy
in the area around the Mussolini Canal.1/A/601st claimed two
PzIV and an armored car with 6 rounds APC and 4 HE. They then took
on 6 MG nests and a bunch of personnel firing 90 HE rounds. Not to
be outdone, 3rd Platoon B added a Tiger to its kill claim,
with 3 rounds in the turret at 1,000 yards. 3/C was used in an
indirect fire role, the FO claimed their 81 rounds killed three or
four MG nests. Even the M8 armored cars got into the action, firing
Canister at infantry at 200 yards. In return, the 601st lost
two M10s (defined as “cannot be repaired within 24 hours), both
from B company: One to enemy fire, and one a mine strike. On the
other hand, the British and 894th were embroiled in bitter
fighting. Within a week of the off on the 29th, C/894th was
down to half strength in men and equipment, and needed to be
replaced by B company. It wasn’t without vengeance, the a TD under
a Sgt Dobson claimed to have killed the first of a number of Tigers
which would meet their end in Anzio.
An M4 heads inland from one of the
Anzio beachesThe same day, the 45th Infantry Division landed
along with the M10s of the 645th. The allied attacks began to peter
out by the beginning of February, by the 4th it was made
official: Assume the defensive, except for local
counter-attacks.The 645th was used as artillery for the first
two weeks, particularly for harassing fires. The unit history
states that the night of 7/8 Feb was “very quiet”, with B company
only firing 778 rounds. It is worth observing that in the
after-action reports for Anzio, the TDs reported that they would
fire between 2,500 to 3,500 rounds per tube before barrel wear
became an issue, and the guns (and sometimes the trunnions) needed
to be replaced. But, replaced they were in the field, and no
limitations were placed on the use of the TDs as artillery out of
concerns of wearing out the tubes. The 645th was soon detached
from the 45th, though, and sent to relieve the battered 894th. The
relief was completed by the 16th, just in time to form a reception
committee for Operation Fischfang, a determined German effort to
push the allies back into the sea. The British, in particular, took
it on the chin. In the next part of this series, we follow the
defense.

Link on message: #12106415
KRZYBooP: Howdy Boom Jockeys! Here is some news about the MT
Rebalancing progress. These changes are going to be applied to the
second iteration of the ST for these tanks. The first
Supertest iteration for the re-balanced medium tanks is over, and
we would like to share the results with you. Our plans to
re-balance some MTs prompted a heated discussion within the
community. We totally agree this is a very important matter for
many of you as the proposed changes concern Tier X vehicles—the
prized ones which one doesn’t get in a day or two. Even positive
adjustments to top-tier vehicles may impact the motivation to
invest in their research. That’s why we do our best to inform you
on every change beforehand. Now we’ll describe some additional
adjustments to the MTs in more detail, and will also explain what
we intend to achieve. It should be noted that two of the five
vehicles we mentioned before, the Object 430 and the Object 430U,
will stay intact for now, but they are still being looked at for
future changes. Please take note that all changes are currently
being Supertested, and the stats may be further tweaked during the
next iterations. The final stats of the tanks involved will be
defined only before the release. Leopard 1 From its
inception, we envisioned this tank as a mobile sniper able to
swiftly react to the battle dynamic and lend support to allies
while staying far from the enemy. A good sniper needs a quality
gun, so we concentrated our efforts on the tank’s armament. After
two closed test iterations, we boosted a range of its parameters,
including accuracy, stabilization, armor penetration, and shell
velocity. The APCR will continue to be the basic round of Leopard
1, and will travel at a speed of 1,480 meters per second. During
the tests we came to the conclusion that keeping this shell type
best suits the tank’s role (a long-range striker). The new special
shell will be an ACPR, too (as we told you before), but its armor
penetration will be improved even further, up to 323 mm. Its
velocity of 1,613 meters per second will make it one of the fastest
rounds currently in the game. The increased gun accuracy of 0.29
makes the Leopard 1 the most precise shooter among all Tier X
medium tanks. If the testing goes well, the operators of the
Leopard 1 will be able to choose between two kinds of APCRs, both
with fine stats. On top of that, these rounds’ armor penetration
stays high at long range. But that’s not all. We plan to test the
improved stabilization which will amount to 0.13 both on the move
and while taking a turn (approximately 28% better than the
stabilization on the main server now). Together with the short
aiming time of 1.7 seconds, this will let the Leopard 1 get ready
for firing much faster. The Leopard 1 will get these modifications
now, and if these are up to our expectations, the tank will become
the ultimate mobile sniper. By increasing the alpha, the accuracy,
and the stabilization, we’re fine-tuning the top German for
comfortable play in its redefined role. High shell velocity and
armor penetration will allow to damage an opponent even from afar.
Of course, the vulnerabilities shall stay: the armor won’t thicken,
still being almost a ‘placeholder’ one. Please keep that in mind: a
true sniper should be very cautious! STB-1 Currently the
STB-1 is a generic tank which plays pretty well at mid-range but
lacks a unique style. We intend to create one—by introducing a very
peculiar feature plus significantly boosting the stats, to make it
a formidable close-to-mid-range fighter. The said feature is a
hydro-pneumatic suspension the tankers have kept asking for—because
the real-world STB-1 had one. Thanks to this mechanic, the Japanese
will be able to tilt its hull, increasing its effective gun
depression. The suspension will switch on automatically, just like
on the new Swedish medium tanks. The total gun depression will
increase from 10 to 12 degrees. Because of the introduction of a
new mechanic the ‘tilt input’ will be split 50/50: 6 degrees at the
expense of the hull and 6 degrees at the expense of the gun. Should
we get positive test results, the STB-1 will be able to use terrain
folds to maximal efficiency, hitting its enemies at extreme angles
from unexpected directions. We’re also going to test the second
important adjustment: a boost to turret protection. For the STB-1
to keep it together in a brawl, we’ll do the following: Get rid of
weak armor zones in the gun mantlet Increase the mantlet armor
thickness Bolster the overall frontal turret protection After such
a complex upgrade to the turret’s armor, the STB-1 will cope with
enemy strikes much better. Together with the new suspension, this
will strengthen the tank’s terrain-based play. The Japanese medium
will be able to dish out damage reliably while surviving multiple
hits. “Reliable” is the best word describing the damage dealing
capacity of the STB-1, as the third essential change to the tank is
the increased damage per minute. While the alpha will go down, the
DPM will grow even more compared to the first Supertest iteration.
Due to reloading time decreased from 7.3 to 7.1 seconds, the DPM
will cross the 3,000 threshold, reaching an awesome height of 3,042
points of damage which is the second best for the Tier X medium
tanks. Besides that, the STB-1 will keep its improved gun
stabilization from the first testing phase. Due to the combination
of all these factors—the increased DPM, better stabilization, and
the introduction of an AP shell—the tank will be able to shoot more
often while sustaining high DPM. The changes to velocity of the
rounds should be addressed separately. During the Supertest, the
APCR shell will be substituted by an AP one. This entails a speed
decrease, but after the first testing phase we decided not to make
it drastic (from the current 1478 to 1185 meters per second). Thus,
both rounds (basic and special) are in fact becoming slower. Still,
due to the changes to the STB-1 tactical role, the velocity of its
rounds ceases to be a very important parameter. The tank will excel
at close-to-mid-range combat, using its hydro-pneumatic suspension
and also its improved turret armor, DPM, and gun stabilization. AP
rounds will normalize better, increasing the chance to penetrate
enemy armor. AMX 30B We’d like to run one more test
iteration for this one with its stats unchanged, so it will
transition to the next stage as it is. The Conclusion
Re-balancing Tier X vehicles isn’t easy, and that’s why the closed
test consists of many steps. Not all the tweaks make it into the
release; those bringing needed results get into the Common test
where you can probe them yourselves. Our objective is to make these
tanks more diverse gameplay-wise, and also more efficient in their
respective tactical roles. We want every player to be able to find
a tank that suits them most and have fun fighting in it while using
its potential to the fullest. Once again: please remember that all
the changes we’ve mentioned are in closed test now, and the tanks’
stats may change when a new stage starts. The final parameters will
be defined just before the release.

arty made less accurate .. the conqueror GC is completely
useless now like the bat chat because when you fire a round in GC
now ? you have time to sit down and file your taxes so the
inaccurate round eventually hits and since the round hangs
in the air sooooo long most likely the enemy is no longer seen so
you actually do not see the 40 hp of splash damage from a
completely zeroed in target that managed to escape you with a dead
driver and a blown engine ... that was not even repaired to enable
the escape .. Meanwhile the obj 261 seems to have been given
a hidden buff as it seems to be immune from the nerfs altogether ?
bat chat has been useless from initial nerfs and german tier
10 is decent but slow mobility is a you spawn and run like hell to
a spot you will die in .. T92 is next on chopping block

unintentional change in shell velocity and arc for the CGC, they
have made corrections that will be implemented in the next
micropatch.

GeoMonster Totally surprised it is taking this long to fix. I wonder now if they are working the problem or sleeping on it.

CabbageMechanic: Apologies for the inconvenience, but full transparency

CabbageMechanic: This wasn't the issue that caused the downtime itself, I haven't
confirmed yet but as best I can tell you can still do it. The
real issue was a glitch-caused cascading multiplier leading to far
more hilarious scenarios than this, and it was global.
In any case, it wasn't Warchild's fault and some of you owe him an apology.
