Tell us how selling bonds with premium time isn't pay2win.
Tell us how tanks like 432, defender, progetto, ebr FL aren't all
blatantly pay2win. There are others, but this is my
short list. Promise us that WG won't put out CLEARLY op, broken
tanks to sell. KRZYBooP: I have my own opinions same as yourself, along with a more
shades of grey definition when it comes to what Pay2Win means. I
can put myself in our players shoes and can see how the game can
percieved as Pay2Win, but there is some information that was
released to help with addressing player's concerns with bonds being
included with WoT Premium. WoT Premium doesn't come
with 25 bonds automatically, you have to complete 3 missions each
day to unlock 25 bonds. To address player's concerns WoT is going
to introduce more missions in the game that offer bonds as reward
for all players to complete. Right now there is a mission for Front
Line that offers 200 bonds everytime you prestige. The
Tanks OBJ 430 and 430U aren't pay2win cause you have to grind your
way up the normal tech tree. I have run some game events at
conventions and purposefully put new players that don't know how to
play tanks in the Defender, and they still get picked apart while I
am trying to explain what armor angling is. They block 3, or 4
shots then die. The Progetto offers a different playstyle that
someone has to master in order to be successful. The EBR FL is fast
but only dangerous with a player that knows what they are doing.
Pay2Win in my own opinion is an undeniable advantage that
can only be purchased with money. Some examples that are black and
white are: Rounds that don't bounce, always pen and do a massive
amount of damage. Tank armor or consumable that makes you bullet
proof with no counter. Being able to purchase a fleet of Planes to
bomb and destroy all enemy players. As far as tank sales go:
WG has in the past released premium tanks that were not really that
great compared to Tech tree counter parts. However, it leaves the
question of why would a player spend money on a premium tank if it
doesn't perform at least the same or better than tech tree tanks.
WoT is a free to play game with a business model that allows
players to pick an amount of money THEY WANT to pay in order to
support the product. You can play it for free, buy some premium
time, or buy our feast that is usually available once a year.
25 bonds a day for advanced equipment that doesn't much of
an advantage over the normal equipment at a price of Thousand's of
bonds isn't that bad in my opinion. Especially since it opened the
door for free to play players able to earn bonds through missions.
Nothing I type will change anyone's mind on the subject, but
those are my own opinions on the matter. If there is one
thing that remains true with WoT ; It seems that NOTHING in this
game, is ever set in stone. I do appreciate everyone's
passion and wants when it comes to games they love. I can assure
you that Everyone on the community team do there very best to fight
for our players common interest.
