Fixed incorrect auto-detect of the Texture Quality in the Graphics quality menu.
Fixed some errors in models and textures for the following vehicles: Object 268, Т-46, IS-8, T2 med, FV215b, M36 Jackson, Grille, Tiger II.
Fixed some names for American vehicles.
Fixed mechanics for receiving the "Sniper" achievement. Now shots on platoon mates, which caused no damage, are not counted.
Fixed sudden camera angle change when interacting with other objects (e.g. tanks).
Fixed the bug causing some shells to vanish after penetrating the mantlet striking the gun but not damaging it.
Fixed the bug causing shells to vanish after penetrating spaced armor and rebounding from the main armor.
Fixed "flying" tanks at high ping and significant loss of data packets.
Fixed the display and collision models discrepancy with some buildings and objects.

Captain_Judo: Think of this format as a "pre-season" or "exhibition/friendly"
mode. A similar format will be available, next year, with
substantial rewards. If we find teams are not actively
participating in scrimmages they register for, then we may remove
gold rewards for scrimmages all together.

dance210: Couple of problems with limiting to two tiers, 25 points. Taking
your (7, 5, 5) as an example, a platoon could bring two Tier 5
tanks into a Tier 9 match, which isn't as bad as bringing a Tier 1,
but still outside what a Tier 5 (excluding lights and arty) would
normally see.
The other issue would be not allowing platoons that would work, but are outside your 2 tier limit. An example is platooning a Tier 5 light with any Tier 10 tank - this is a perfectly reasonable match but your system would no longer allow it.

There will only be one map used during Skirmish XXVIII. The map played on will be Sand River.

Or maybe increase the number of teams per group and increase the prizes too, just as an incentive for the teams to keep fighting.

I just have one sugestion, give prizes to the 2nd of each group too, nothing fancy, something like 400-500 gold (or less). Like was stated before, when people see they cant get the 1st place they simply give up, its been at least 2 technicals each day for us, mostly because of that.
Or maybe increase the number of teams per group and increase the prizes too, just as an incentive for the teams to keep fighting.
Captain_Judo: I don't think adding more prizes encourages participation. We're
offering scrimmages as a practice resource. The reality is, it's
difficult to win the 1,000 gold against the quality teams that are
regularly participating and I don't think that 1,000 gold, itself,
brings teams to scrimmage.
